  I can't create a new blank HTML page. When I select file > new > new Document > HTML, the window frame is empty and when I click on create nothing happens.  I tried to restore preferences as suggested in this post: is more able to create html empty in 2015 for CC, but it has not solved the problem.  I completely uninstalled the program and then reinstalled, but still no luck. I don't want to go back to the previous version as it kept crashing, it's why I've updated. Any other suggestions?

  This should help: reinstalling Dreamweaver (or the extensions Manager) fails to solve the problems.

  I thought about it. It came to an end due to the change of my documents to the new drive. (and screw to the top of passwords for ftp on my end). It automatically recognizes the file index.html as my home page.

  File - publish setting.
  Check HTML and SWF formats.
  Press the buttons to release and Flash automatically generates the html file with
  all the necessary tags for the SWF to run across multiple browsers.
  The file is located in the same folder as the FLA file.
  You can rename it to index and that is pretty much it - Ta Daaa

  How to add an existing web page created before the model has created a model Dreamweaver, I created my index page?

  I use Dreamweaver CS6

  The index of test file has a header and a column on the left with links and then a contained right column and footer.

  The content column has "editregion4" on it, so is locked. I want to update other areas and have other pages that I created prior to the model being created was updated too.

  I created the index.dwt model and saved as index.html

  I have update the model and updates the index.html page too. So far, but so good...

  I created separate pages to test how to add to the model without changing the "content" section.

  Question: How do I add the other pages that I have created?

  These are just the test pages. The next page is called: about.html and I added some random text in the content area that I want to keep.

  The only areas that would update are the header, column and footer to the left.

  Another question: would you have only the one file model?

  Yes. It makes the management of the site a lot easier if you stay with a Template.dwt.

  A well-designed template everything including your site have some items may not appear on all pages of the child.  Some examples are slideshows, galleries or calendars. This is where the optional regions come into play.

  My laptop crashed and I was able to download my latest pages from the server to my new computer, but apparently I never downloaded my newest model.

  I would really appreciate someone tell me the steps to follow to create a template from a page that was created by using the template I want to use.

  I tried several ways to cut and copy, but the .css is not by applying, among other problems. I don't know there's a correct way to proceed - can anyone help?

  Maybe you need to do is to get out any mention of editable regions.

  Once you've done that, save it as a template (Dreamweaver should not ask you if you want a model nested, if applicable), and then create the editable regions.

  Create yourself as a standard document and save it. Then save it again as a model, where you can then reuse.

  As far as I saw, most of the smartphones will automatically recognize it these days, as long as the number is written in a format of regular phone number. This format also allows to make images or text other than a telephone number in a tap to call the link.

  I've never worked with Intelliclick so above is a wild guess. They would be those who need to ask themselves if there is a way to fill in the address of a link like that.

  My InDesign folio, I have an article with photo gallery full HTML page. The photo grid occupies the full screen. I want to create a button that is persistent on top of this gallery, which the user can type to go to the main Menu page. This button is always visible in one place, even as the user scrolls up and down the gallery. I tried to create it on the top layer and the upper layer of the page master, but the button disapperas loading the HTML gallery.
  If the user does not see any button to navigate through the Gallery to another article.

  Any ideas how to create persistent button?

  It is usually best if you use Photoshop for images only.  The html code generated by graphics applications is too quick to use on the web.

  In DW, insert the animated gif in your HTML page with the Insert panel.
