Create an xml file using the .xsd file

Hi guys,.

Version of DB: Oracle 11g

I was wondering if I had any package that can create a xml file based on a (built-in) .xsd file. I searched but did not find any resource on the internet specific to my problem. Let's say I have an .xsd file. It is possible to load a schema and generate the XML that conform to the .xsd file using sql? If so, I want to store in a CLOB variable.

Please point me to the right direction.

Thank you.

Hello

No, there is no such functionality yet.

To build the XML "manually", according to the XSD, for example using SQL/XML functions (XMLElement, XMLAttributes, and XMLAgg etc.).

    Hello

    I created some orgs again using the API (hr_organization_api.create_hr_organization)

    I also want to create additional details Org Unit FDF but not sure which API to use.

    I am trying to insert data into attriubute1, 2 and 3 of the table to hr_all_organization_units by using the API, however the hr_organization_api.create_hr_organization API only allows me to use a segments of1 to 30 in the parameters of the API and NOT the attribute columns

    Can someone please suggest.

    Thank you

    Hello

    As you have rightly noted, hr_organization_api.create_hr_organization is not the settings to meet the ATTRIBUTE?.

    You could try calling the hr_organization_api.update_organization with the "p_organization_id" returned by the API call 'create '.

    Please how to create an e-commerce using the muse of adobe

    ECWID is certainly the easiest to customize muse and it's very easy for customers to add/manage products. Another thing that many people love in Ecwid, it's that you can host several stores account. If you know css/javascript then you can do this on your own, but if you want a widget that does, make these widgets.

    If you are looking for some great Ecwid widgets, you can enter these ones that are free. And if you are wanting to customize even more (including the ability to host multiple account stores), you can get these even more impressive widgets for $14.99 with promo code: 1MUSESTORE #.

  • I've created a form that uses the value field text to fill the text of another field.  Does not take into account changes

    I've created a form that uses the value field text to fill the text of another field.  However, if I need to change the text, the second field does not update this change.  Instead of reset the form each time, is the Javascript code to update the fields if they have been modified?

    For example I Text1 and Text2.

    When I type in Hello in Text1 I see Hello in Text2.

    Later, if I decide to change to Goodbye Text1, Text2 remains Hello.

    The shape of the hoe can recognize this change?

    Thank you

    Edit: I think I have misunderstood the situation.

    If you want to both fields have the same value, just to give them the same name.

  • Create an image slider using the XML file photo gallery

    Hello!

    I have created a photo gallery and generated an xml file.  I want to implement a cursor image on the home page that performs a simple fade from one image to the other.

    I'm not an expert on jQuery. The BC help section says to add code that retrieves in the XML file and THEN add another code query j who would style images and transitions.

    I don't know how to do this.  Here is my code and it does not work.

    If you have a simple solution, it would be great.

    There is a script called JSSOR

    "< script type =" text/javascript"src ="... / js/jquery-1.9.1.min.js "> < / script >"

    <!-use jssor.slider.mini.js (40 KB) instead for immediate release->

    <!-jssor.slider.mini.js = (jssor.js + jssor.slider.js)->

    < script type = "text/javascript" src = "javascripts/jssor.js" > < / script >

    "< script type =" text/javascript"src="javascripts/jssor.slider.js "> < / script >

    This is the beginning of the code BC gives to pull from the xml file into a div called "Gallery".

    < div id = 'Gallery' > < / div >

    < script type = "text/javascript" >

    {$(function()}

    $.ajax({)

    type: 'GET ',.

          url: " http://www.performanceaire.com/Fahrenheit-images/BannerGallery/Photogallery.XML ", / / replace with an absolute URL of the XML of your gallery of .

    data type: "xml."

    success: {function (xml)}

    {$(xml).find('img').each (function ()}

    location var = ' http://www.performanceaire.com/Fahrenheit-Images/BannerGallery/'; / / Replace with the absolute path to the directory that contains your images

    var url = $(this) .attr ('src');

    var alt = $(this) .attr ('alt');

    $('<li></li>').html (' < a href = "' + place +" + url + ' "> < img src ="' + place + "+ url + '" alt = "' + alt + '" / > < / a > ').appendTo('#gallery');

    });

    }

    });

    });

    This is the code taken from JSSOR to transitions occur, and it does not work... any ideas?

    jQuery (document) .ready (function ($) {}

    var options = {}

    $AutoPlay: true, / / [optional] If auto play, to activate the slide show, this option must be set to true, the default value is false

    $DragOrientation: 1 / / orientation [optional] to drag the slide, 0. drag, 1 horizental, 2 3 vertical or, default value is 1 (note that the $DragOrientation must be the same as $PlayOrientation when $DisplayPieces is more than 1, or in the parking position is not 0)

    };

    var jssor_slider1 = new $JssorSlider$ ("Gallery", options);

    });

  • Need to XSL file create my XML file

    Hello world

    This is the first time that I post my question here in the XML section, in fact I have a XML file as
    <root_node>
        <node_1>
            <element>abc</element>
        </node_1>
    </root_node>
    Now when I retrieve data from this XML file so I need to get the root node in the Dept and 1 node as DeptRow and item as an identifier.
    While she will look like when I will actually try recover data
    <Dept>
        <DeptRow>
            <Id>abc</Id>
        </DeptRow>
    </Dept>
    So for this I need to use Transform method in java and generate an XSL file that can convert data according to my needs without modifying the original file.

    then may - does anyone know what content must exist in the XSL file.

    your help would be appreciated too

    It seems that there is a problem reported on the DIT that was refitted with internal BlackBerry MKS defect tracking system. Until this issue is reviewed by our internal teams, please use the solution suggested by the Rapporteur for the question by introducing an "if" statement before inserting data to the DataModel:

                    if (data.name) {
                        empDataModel.insert(data);
                    } else {

  • Creation of XML report using the PL/SQL stored procedure

    Hi friends,

    I'm working on a report xml with the xml source as a PL/SQL stored procedure.

    I mean the fiscal year indicated in the following link to understand the process:

    http://orclapp.blogspot.com/2012/02/developing-xml-publisher-report-using.html

    In the example shown in the link above, I did not understand the following:

    (1) in the following procedure, setting out "retcode" is not used at all.

    What is the importance of this parameter.

    REPORT PROCEDURE (errbuf OUT VARCHAR2, retcode OUT VARCHAR2, p_product_id in NUMBERS)

    (2) after the xml data are prepared and updates 'l_result' variable Clob, what follows

    Loop is executed. I am not able to understand why the following loop is required.

    LOOP

    EXIT WHEN l_length = l_retrieved;

    IF (l_length - l_retrieved) < 32000

    THEN

    SELECT SUBSTR (l_result, l_retrieved + 1) IN l_xmlstr FROM DUAL;

    l_retrieved: = l_length;

    fnd_file.put_line (fnd_file.output, l_xmlstr);

    ON THE OTHER

    SELECT SUBSTR (l_result, l_retrieved + 1, l_offset)

    IN l_xmlstr

    FROM DUAL;

    l_retrieved: = l_retrieved + l_offset.

    fnd_file.put_line (fnd_file.output, l_xmlstr);

    END IF;

    END LOOP;

    (3) in the example it is not explained how the concurrent program gets the xml data?

    I guess that it is written to a file by using the following line of code:

    fnd_file.put_line (fnd_file.output, l_xmlstr);

    I would be grateful if someone can shed some light in my questions above so that I can well understand the process.

    Thanks and greetings

    Hawker

    Hi 32000 in the code is a 'safe' than 32767 available max mesh, loops is intended to get around the entire thing into pieces that can be managed within the limits of the data type.

    BTW; If you are in the following Oracle e-business, you can also use the Oracle reports very simply to create the XML output.

    If you have reports developer all you need to do is put raw sql (create XML without any "Fireworks") in the SQL report and then set reporting in XML format in the definition of program in Oracle e-business.

    Best regards

    Robert.

  • How can I create a simple VM using the EFI firmware?

    I created a VM with OS 'Another 64 - bit' and edited the .vmx file, change only the "bios" = firmware firmware = "efi".

    How create/configure a virtual machine to use systematically the EFI, without her 'crush' or 'back' to my configuration?

    I use VMware Fusion 7.1.0 (2314774).

    Hi michielvoo

    Welcome to the VMware communities forum.

    I wrote an article on the use of EFI in a machine virtual here: Boot via the EFI firmware | PlanetVM

    Basically, what you're doing are correct. The part, I wonder about is if the double quote characters you use double quotes a normal and not the "fantasies" (as you can see in the above article, these are those fancy)

    It takes standard double quotes on your keyboard.

    Another possible reason to make it work is not is if you edit the vmx while your merger still works as he could return your changes to protect the virtual machine.

    If you don't know everything that's wrong with your vmx file, then send the vmware.log file is also in this folder to an answer here and I or someone else will take a look and see if everything's okay what is wrong.

It is a simplified version of a smart collection for a workflow. If you have 12 files, one for each month, you can select in the dialog box, and it will create 12 collections.

    s = {

    ID = ""

    internalName = "201401 - Jan."

    title = "201401 - Jan."

    Type = "LibrarySmartCollection"

    value = {}

    {

    criteria = "touchTime."

    operation = "en"

    value = "2014-01-01,.

    value2 = "2014-01-31."

    },

    combine = "cross"

    },

    version = 0,

    }

    A minor warning, Text Edit on my Mac replaced the quotes with double quotes. LR would fail to import missing files of the quotes or double quotes (I guess malformed) with like this without raising any errors. I had to disable the quotes in Text Edit.

    The strings that you entered in your file name conversion settings does not match where actually your data files. If the string does not match the names of files, there is no names of files to convert. Because you're on windows, how about something like this?

    set db_file_name_convert='\ORCL\','\ORCLSTD\'
    set log_file_name_convert='\ORCL\','\ORCLSTD\'

    Hope that helps...

    Please help big appriciation.

    Thank you

    Siddarth.

    OK, the solution is quite "simple" then.
    Each string that can contain XML reserved characters must be escaped before concatenating XML tags.

    I see that the code has already some replace(column_name, '&', ''), perhaps that was added in the same goal, but a bad solution.

    A better solution would be to use the SQL/XML functions, but it would mean that the refactoring cursors.
    Therefore, an intermediate solution (if you want to keep '&' characters in the output) is to escape the chain properly.

    For example, in the GET_PROJECTS cursor:

    CURSOR get_projects ( p_customer_id            IN    NUMBER
                        , p_bu_vertical            IN    VARCHAR2
                        , p_line_of_business    IN    VARCHAR2
                       -- , p_period_set_name        IN    VARCHAR2
                        , p_gl_period_from        IN    VARCHAR2
                        , p_gl_period_to        IN    VARCHAR2
                        , p_project_id_FROM        IN    NUMBER
                        , p_project_id_to        IN    NUMBER
                        , p_organization_name  IN    VARCHAR2
                        ) IS
    SELECT DISTINCT   replace(pa.name, '&','') project_name
         ,pa.project_id
         , utl_i18n.escape_reference(pa.segment1) as project_number   --< Here
         , pa.project_currency_code
         , hp.party_id
    ...

    This should solve the problem with the CP_PROJECT tag.
    Repeat on the other columns if necessary.

  • creating a view and use the view in a model

    Hi all

    I'm new to OBIEE, and I have a requirement that I have two fields to be added to a domain. Because we cannot add queries directly to a model, I have to create a view and then put the request in it, and then use the view in this model.
    I did not understand this well, if someone could help me, explaining in detail the view and adding a query in it?

    Thank you
    Gohan

    Hello

    (a) If you want to use your existing DB view please tick box import meta option data - RPD--> file menu
    (b) If you want to create the new view in RPD itself just right click anyof a physical table--> properties--> click the genral--> change the type of array as "Select" then you create/update your sql query, and then click ok that's all
    Once created, you can deploy advice on the database (right mouse button) or you can leave the view cancelled (worst performance).

    Ref steps more to create views
