Hello

Is it possible to create columns in a text frame on one part of the text in the frame? For example, can I turn a paragraph into two columns while the rest of the text in the frame is just a single column?

Or is the only way to achieve this to insert and set another block of text in the original frame?

This is for CS4.

I don't think you can use the form wizard to create the form for you in this case. You can create the form manually or modify the table to have a new column that will act as a substitute PK for the table. This column can be filled from a sequence and must have a Unique key limited defined against it.

I want to create indexes for child nodes. I read THAT XML structure cannot have collection as index it should be singleton.
So can someone tell me no work around to create indexes for these nodes, or whatever it is that I missed as follows.

I have a question about the implementation of type HTML sidenotes.
Here is my attempt to create a sidenote in FrameMaker (with option of side - head alignment ). As you can see, the sidenote is colored olive color:
But I want that:
At the beginning of my post I call it 'type HTML sidenotes' because it can be easily done in HTML tables.
May be you're asking me why I want such thing? The answer is:
This is because sometimes every paragraph has its own sidenote, and so I want to see a Visual cleanliness of the relationships between each paragraph and it is sidenote, i.e. paragraph 1 - Sidenote1, paragraph 2 - Sidenote2, paragraph3 - Sidenote3 and so on.
All the world has managed to do this?

Just use "through all columns and side heads" instead of "through all the columns" for paratroopers who would use an anchored frame well established to contain a block of text with what would otherwise be sidehead content (i.e. the page layout includes room for heads aside, but not paragraphs use the Format: head to one side).

No indent on the first paragraph only after the title

I am importing a Word document and I encounter a few problems during Assembly.
1. I don't want the first line of the first paragraph after a heading have a dash. I don't want the Indent on the following paragraphs.
I created two new styles of paragraphs where firstbodyParagraph style does not have a dash in the 1st row and bodyParagraph style has a dash.
Title 1A in the following style firstbodyParagraph and firstbodyParagraph a bodyParagraph in the following style. It works very well within Indesign. For example if I score of Heading1 until the next title and select use Heading1, and then click Next. But if I get a Word document where I've adapted Heading1 in word to my own defined inddHeading1 etc, this does not work no matter how I try to change the linking of the Word text in firstbodyParagraph or bodyParagraph. Following style is not honoured so to speak.
2. Another problem is that my margin to the left and right margins settings change not is. Word document left only right margin and my body text paragraphs are to the left and right margins straight. A small sign appears on my paragraph style and I have to go through the whole of the document paragraph by paragraph to click away.

To the text block, you can break the flow of the text on the first image, substitute the paragraph and style of object of the framework and then create a link to the stream. If a stream of text associated with various substitutes:

I'm reviewing oracle 11g features and found that few things need special attention, such as checking the settings and the changes in the default profile.

Looking at the secconf.sql file, I found this note

REM only invoked for databases of newly created, not for upgrade of databases

My question is
(1) if I update a database to Oracle 10 G to Oracle 11 G, will, these changes in profile by default and the audit take place or not?
(2) these 11 G changes will happen if we create new databases using DBCA?

If you take a peek of scripts by calling secconf.sql in 11.2 /rdbms/admin, you see that secconf.sql can be run from catuprgd.sql with the following calling sequence:

It is therefore very likely that secconf.sql is not running during the 11.2 database upgrade (I think that the same should apply to 11.1).

I'm trying to creat masks for each marked by IMAQ label.vi particles. I did use IMAQ labeltoroi, get the return on investment for each particle, and do IMAQ roitomask 2. However, the images of these masks are related images. Do you know how creat masks in the coordination of the original image?

I think that the lable particle simply sets the value of each BLOB in a class to an integer it is IE 1,2,3,4 for 4 groups, (I have LV here right now so it's memory). You can just itterate through the lable values and use the image to compare or beach threshold function to make masks where you keep the pixels that are equal to this value. What will a new image with only the PIX = 1 where the value is equal to the value labled, it will have the same size and shape as the original image of lable.

Referring to created columns

I am a trainee comes to be introduced to OBIEE and the knowledge that you can share with me would be much appreciated!
In Oracle BI answers, I created two columns using case statements. These columns return the value of ' 0 'or a ' 1'. I would like to create another line which divides the results of these two columns.
However, since I myself have created and renamed these columns, I can't reference it in another formula of column in the "typical" report "" Format of variables. Is there a way that I'm able to reference these columns? Or is it possible that I am able to use an arithmetic function to divide the results of two case statements?

Welcome to the world of OBIEE

You cannot reference your owner created columns (Forms) by a name or a variable, OBIEE means in this case is to use the complete formula again.

In your column formula window, you have a drop down showing you the columns existing in your analysis, if you select one of your 2 columns, you will see that OBIEE does not insert a reference (name) of your column in the formula, but it will again insert the complete formula.

It of the way it works, so if you change the formula in one of your columns 2 you must also, by yourself, update the formula in the 3rd column with the division.

Engineering adds columns for relationship

I absolutely cannot understand the logic of the advanced engineering process.
Why it adds ADDITIONAL PK columns in my tables with a relationship?
For example, two tables: CLASS (class_id, name) and TYPE (type_id, class_id) with the 1-N relationship (class.class_id - type.class_id).
After engineering model logical relationship, in a last I can see new columns:
Class.class_id1, type.class_class_id1
How to avoid it? I want to use my own columns for relationship!

you have not a primary key for the entity in the logic model CLASS - that's fine. However, you have a PK existing in the table of CLASS in order to have the foreign key of the table TYPE of the table CLASS in the relational model.

So new surrogate key column is created - model default naming is {abbr table} _ID and since you have abbreviation table he takes the name of the table and creates the CLASS_ID column and it becomes CLASS_ID1 because you already have a column CLASS_ID.

For the creation of TYPE table - column foreign key referring to the assignment of default namespace model column - CLASS_ID1 is {table Ref} _ {Ref column} - this is how the name of the column has the value CLASS_CLASS_ID1.

If you don't want to create primary identifiers in the logic model, then you should not add attributes PK and FK in related entities - PK/FK columns will be automatically created during the engineering to the relational model - you will need to define related templates.

Otherwise, you can create identifier PK and related attributes added to FK attributes and it will continue automatically.

VROPs - creating reports for VMS that were down for 60 days or longer

We have a requirement for the creation of a regular monthly report for virtual machines that have been down for 60 days or more. I thought by using the default "Disk space recoverable of Virtual Machines for some time" for the creation of this report would be the best option. But the date of the option of filtering to this view does not give an option to choose anything prior to a specific date.
There is possibility to choose the last days of specific", also has the ability to relative and absolute dates > do not know which option is best for filtering to see my specific opinion. Date range seems also seems to be a good option but it needs so many dates. It would have been nice if we could choose only the Date 'To' leave the Date of something more to this day.

I think that this could be a really useful report, but when I was testing the integrated perspective time settings had no effect on which were virtual machines. It seems that it is show all virtual computers that are turned off, regardless of the parameters of time or how long the virtual machine has been powered down. I've played with filters and could not find a way to filter the virtual machines based on the length of time that they have been turned off. What I did to work around this problem, is to add a column for the metric"summary | "Powered off time %" and the Transformation of the value average. If the virtual machine has been powered down for the entire period that average will always be 100%. If it was powered at any point the average off power time will be less than 100%. Is another metric, you might use this "summary | Turn off the power"with the set Minimum Transformation. If the virtual machine has been for the entire period that minimum will be '1', otherwise it will be '0 '. I thought that the percentage was easier to understand, so I went with that. Time settings, I use just the last 2 months. I have attached the view that I use.
