• Site moved - pages with insert registration forms does not

  Don't know what happened here. I copied a site from:

  www.goodsafariguide.com to:

  www.goodsafariguide.NET

  The areas are shared reseller hosting account so both are pointing to the same database, but I noticed that pages with forms of uninstalling showed any.

  I created a new page comes with a basic shape, and he's working on the .com domain:

  But not on the .net domain:

  http://www.goodsafariguide.NET/campkalahari/NewForm.php

  The database connection seems OK - no idea what could be the problem here?

  I think I can see what all happened today. Initially, I got up because I downloaded the entire site, including a folder containing many photos high resolution, that have never downloaded initially. It seems that the files have not been uploaded when missed disk space still appeared in the directory of files, but with the size of 0 k.

  So when I was reuploading files, Dreamweaver was not actually download them because he seemed to think that they were already downloaded, and I could see showing them upward on the remote server, while everything seemed OK.

  In any case - everything seems OK now.

• How to create pages with tabs

  I need to create a publication that has pages with tabs (index) by using InDesign. By "tabs", I'm not referring to the use of a tab character in the text of the space, but the design of the page to have a small additional part on the outside edge that can see beyond the other pages and describes a section. I need to have 10 these index pages where are the 10 sections of the book.

  You can create these in InDesign? If so, can you please tell me how?

  I'm sure that these tabs/index have a technical term, but I'm afraid that I don't know. I hope that I don't have everyone confused with my attempts to explain my problem.

  !!  No worries!  I guess they'll be bigger than the rest of the pages?  If you work in CS5 you can do large pages in the document, but I would try and talk to the printer first on how they want the files provided.  They want all the standard pages provided as a single file and the tabs provided in another file.  In both cases, pages are normally set to the top pretty standard.

• Master page with editable text

  I am very confused and I asked a similar question before, but I hope someone could explain a little more in detail.

  I created a new master with a header, the footer and the main content area. The main content should be editable for each page I add to the document, but I can't for the life of understand me how do! Has this changed since the first Indesign CS?

  If the header and footer will remain the same throughout the document - if I change this in the master it will then change throughout. The text box will also remain the same throughout, but I should be able to add content to this area on each page I create in my document. For the moment that I can't. It won't let me choose this region that I created on the pages in my document.

  If it should be changed for each page it belongs to a master. If you want something like "Click here to add text", you can simply ctrl/cmd + shift click to replace the item and bring it to the live page.

  I want to be able to redirect a user (after selection of a Menu item) in the form of a 'new Contact' built-in/by default to create a contact. All the links I've read have created the contact by program I want to avoid making. Is it possible to call the 'New Contact' form of my application?

  I may have misunderstood the question, but it seems to me you can call Invoke on the application of contact with an ApplicationArgument AddressBookArgument.

  Sorry to post this here, but I'm out of options. Three of my clients are unable to create links on their sites using IBE. I tried to reach out to the IBE team on it for more than a month. I called Adobe Support the other day, that escalating the issue to the BIE team, who sent an automatic e-mail response that I was here in 24 hours, which was a week ago.

  These issues in IBE makes null and void, and I'll have to do all updates for customers of myself while apologizing constantly telling them that they would be able to make changes to their sites as themselves.

  Is there anyone on this forum who can attract the attention of the IBE team? Please note - I have tried all the normal channels.

  This is a known bug and there is a current fix. Basically what is happening, it's there are two changes taking place simultaneously: 1) addition of text in a text frame and 2.) adding a link. The solution for all those who faced this problem is to add your text, click outside the text frame, click inside and add your link to the text (to break in two separate actions).

  Update (October 11, 2016): this issue has been resolved by the release of today. Adding hyperlinks to the new text should now work the first time.

• How can I create a PDF with editable fields?

  I have a problem with my Microsoft word at the normal address form. Customers who fill out the forms, complete their area prescribed in form, but some of them also change the original text of the form. I though it would be better if direct to a digital solution by which I can have all my PDF form, but the need to 'fill in the fields' remains a problem. Is there a way where I can create a pdf with editable fields form my clients to fill out the requested information? This solution will also allow my clients the advantage of not having to print forms but rather to complete on the computer. Help, please.

  I want to have a form on my Web of Muse page that has video in a configuration similar to YouTube. I wish I had a bigger video box on the left and smaller videos on the right. I noticed that when you click on the videos on the right on the YouTube website, videos do not actually go to the larger box on the left on this page - but rather redirect to another page where you click on the video will play in a larger box. I want to achieve this same effect type and the installation program. Any suggestions on how to link something to achieve this?

  You can use compositions, where to insert thumbnails of videos in the area of relaxation and the video in the box of containers. This way, click triggers will show this page-specific video.

  You can also link to another page and create pages with Youtube widget. Social widgets can be used, or if you wish, you can use your own HTML for video.

  I want to do an editable multi-column listbox where users can perform a derivation of the channels, using of-1 in 1 to subtract channels. Now when I put the multiclomumn listbox with editable cells, it must be a least a second (run-time) really needs something in the cell?

  Furthermore, how can the cell clicked, position? I can't get the property node "Active cell"? I want to bring up a dialog box when you click on the cell, I can fill its value...

  Anyone know how to speed up?

  While closing a link to expedia.ca a message come to say: the page you requested was created using data from the form. This page is no longer available.  If you resend the data, any action that has been specified by the form will be repeated.  You want to resubmit the data?  When I click Yes or no, nothing happens except that the message just reappears.  I can't get rid of it so I can't do anything else on my phone, except to answer a call if someone calls me.  How can I get rid of this message from my phone?  I tried to turn it works... even by leaving off the coast for 5 minutes before turning turn it back on.  I can't even check my OS because I do not what anyone on my phone.  I hope someone can help me with this.

  Have you tried a battery pull?  This should fix a problem as you described.

  With your phone, remove the battery, then replace a minute later.  This will do all sorts of wonderful things to your phone for free unclaimed memory, delete no cited source points and make your phone run smoothly.

  Try it and let us know if it does the trick.

  I found a few other questions on this forum who have remained unanswered.   I found a site citing the problem for drive X - I use XI.

  Change to drive XI.   Perhaps the reader at the library had this as its default setting.

  1. In Adobe Reader, clear the check box enable the Mode protected at startup :
     • If you have a PDF open, right-click the document, and then click Page Display Preferences.
     • If you open Adobe Reader from the shortcut, click on Edit > Preferences.
  2. In the categories dialog box Preferences pane, click (enhanced) protection, and then clear the box enable the Mode protected at startup .
  3. Close and reopen Reader.

  I have no idea if that setting has been changed in my XI player since I used this version exactly one year ago.

• Long page with form PHP_SELF?

  I create a fairly long-page with links to different article ID - about, services, portfolio, contact.

  The contact form is at the bottom of this long page.

  When drop button is clicked, it directs the user to the top of the parent page that is undesirable.  I want the form to recharge and take the user back to #contact section so that they can see the error messages / confirmed.  What is the best way to do it?

  Rather than using PHP_SELF, you can simply use the name of the page with a hash anchor link, like this

  MyForm.php #contact

  I only use PHP_SELF on some old forms, that I have not updated. I prefer to use the name of the file. This allows you to mix both POST and GET at the same time, so useful, like this:
