create the path at the top of the existing path

Hi I was just wondering how you would complement the Red object using the pen tool and the way black below in order to have 2 different objects with the same border.

gimleey,

You can close the red Road (just a straight segment path), and then of Pathfinder > ditch, then Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to Ungropup, and then select the two paths to the left and Pathfinder > unit (or similar for the last piece, (slightly) different for some earlier versions).

  • Windows Server 2012 - create the existing Windows Server 2003 domain controller.

    Hello.

    I am currently working on adding a domain controller Windows Server 2012 and field existing Windows 2003.  My current domain controller (Server 2003) had a level of functiontional of Windows 2000 server, when I first tried to add the server DC 2012.  I changed the functional level of the domain on the Server 2003 Windows 2003 (it is the only domain controller in the tree).  When I try to add the Server Server 2012, he reports that this domain is a Windows 2000 domain.  I checked and restarted the 2003 server.  Does anyone know why the 2012 still sees the field as 2000 functional level?

  • create the path of line in one line?

    I prepare the files to use with a cutting laser. Then I drew a picture, scanned and put it in Illustrator.

    When I try to create a path, it describes both sides of the race of my pen. I need to create a line, not two.

    Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you!

    Rachel,

    If you use Image/Live Trace, you can set for the race, does not, in the options.

    Or you can redraw with the tool pen on top of the locked image and get the path in this way.

  • Create the path

    Hello. I'm trying to follow a tutorial, but I don't get the options they do.  Basically, I created an image and converted into a clip.  Inside that clip, I create a new layer and I give both layers of 70 executives.  On the top layer, I then draw a path, right-click on the layer and choose guide.  I then and drag the lower layer, which represents my video clip under the guide layer.  The next step is to right click on the background layer, my object layer, and then choose create the motion tween.  This is blackened me however, and my only option is to create a classic Tween.

    As a note, I use CS5 and the tutorial, I'm following seems to use an older version.  In addition, they don't do a right-click on the layer and choose the motion tween.  They choose the layer and as their properties panel, they have an option of interpolation in the menu drop down, they choose the movement.  I can't find this option button in my interface however.

    Is there a reason why he used to allow me to make a motion tween?

  • Create a path for the child of distribution

    Hello

    I created an application and now I want to build a kid of distribution. Here, I had a problem. My app needs a *.txt data to run. In my development code I save data in the same folder in my *.uir and *.c files (example: fopen ("Test.txt", "w")so now is my question how to tell in my program it must create the *.txt file in the same folder where my program is installed on the distribution kid?)
    My first thought would be to call the whole path where the program is installed (C:\Program\MyApplication\Test.txt).
    But here I don't know where the program gets exactly installed on another computer. Is there a way to know who?

    Best regards

    You want the utilities library GetProjectDir().

    However, beware that your application can have access in writing. If you need to write data to a file in your application, see here.

  • Create the work around plan group, unless there is a clipping path, and then create the work around clipping path plan

    Hello again everyone.

    I was able to work on a lot of this code to other people's questions, but I hit a snag in my if/else clause structure... I need to make a plan to work around each groupItem of high-level layer [0]. This part is cake... unless there is a clipping mask. Visible limits do not work when there is a clipping mask. So, I built some of the loops that browse the pathItems search the clipping mask and return the visibleBounds said mask. However, I can't find how to structure the if clause in a way that will create the plan of work around the clipping mask when one exists.

    I am successful to find the visibleBounds of the mask and the creation of the appropriate graphic board, but it is ALSO to create a work plan around the visible boundaries of the entire group. How framing an if clause to determine if a work plan has been done around the clip path already and therefore not create a second work plan around the visible boundaries of the groupItem together? I guess I would need some sort of function to determine if createdArtboardAroundClip = true and if so, skip this group...

    Thank you all.

    Here is the code:

    var aB = docRef.artboards;
    var docLayers = docRef.layers;
    var layer1 = docLayers[0];
    var groupLevel1 = layer1.groupItems;

    for (a = 0; a < groupLevel1.length; a++){
        var groupLevel2 = groupLevel1[a].groupItems;
        var vB = groupLevel1[a].visibleBounds

        for (b = 0; b < groupLevel2.length; b++){
            var paths = groupLevel2[b].pathItems;

            for (c = 0; c < paths.length; c++){
                if (paths[c].clipping == true){
                    var clipBounds = paths[c].visibleBounds;
                    aB.add(clipBounds);
                    break;
                    }
                }
            }
        aB.add(vB);
        }

    Oh sorry, I forgot that one.  I was able to view the image basically to see what is happening.  Okay, so I saw a problem, you have one of your straps closure irrelevant.   Your first nested for loop does not close where you want.

  • create the path or a schema like text

    Hi, for the text, I can easily use TYPE / Create described

    y at - it advice to create the trajectory autour and object of the image?

    Arioman,

    For vector illustrations (if you are referring to the object), you can use the appearance palette flyout and adds a new line (you can add several ones with desired weight of race and color (and transparency > opacity may be set to 0%).) You can drag the new line below the filling to have only the outer ring of half of it appear (so you will need to double the weight race).

    For images with transparency raster, you can redraw the outside contour with the right tools (Pen Tool, Ellipse tool, what is appropriate), or you can Auto/Live Trace the outer contour (you may need to develop) and then apply whatever the race weight, color, whatever, you want.

    For raster with just a rectangular border images, you can object > flatten transparency, then separate and flatten transparency and apply the stroke to the path that was a clipping mask. You can use the object > offset by half the weight of the race if you want the path outside of the frame. There may be other ways in the new version (s).

  • Create the top layer with transparency

    Hi all

    I created a SWF for the header of my site. On the top layer, I have an image that remains static, while the rest of the header changes images. I try to get the static image to be fairly transparent but am not having much luck. PS I recorded it with transparency, I created the image, but it doesn't seem right in the swf file.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    When registering for the web of the PS use PNG24.

  • Masking of objects outside the existing path.

    Hello.

    I want to add scales in my image and my question is, if possible to hide some parts of these scales form showing outside the existing paths, so that I don't have to create another layer on top of that.

    I hope someone will understand my gibberish.

    Thanks in advance.

    Daniel,

    If I (put) understand, you can:

    (1) create a copy of the path and move it to the top (Ctrl / Cmd + C + F + X + F), then change to a black fill and no respect.

    (2) select the path of the copy and scale, then in the transparency palette dialog box, click the opacity with Clip mask and mask invert checked.

    That should show the scale in the path and hide it from the outside.

  • FAILED TO CREATE THE INTERFACE ORACLE DATA INTEGRATOR PROJECT

    Hello

    I'm new to ODI & I started to learn by following the links

    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/FMW/ODI/odi_11g/odi_master_work_repos/odi_master_work_repos.htm

    I did creating the repository master & repository work successfully by the following scenario in the link above. Later, I followed the link below

    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/FMW/ODI/odi_11g/odi_project_ff-to-FF/odi_project_flatfile-to-flatfile.htm

    in this scenario, when I'm creating interface, I got two errors

    Gravity Message object
    Fatal target target temporary DataStore datastore has no name.
    Critics target DataStore No. IKM is selected for this interface.

    But, I chose IKM SQL to ADD the FILES in the tree structure Module knowledge in respect of integration after selecting I click on save and then new open pop-up window and you are prompted for the name of the file by clicking the search icon I have chosen a path, and I gave him the name of file then recorded... After having done that also, I face the same mistakes. So someone please help me to overcome this problem

    Thank you
    Gunuru

    Hi Gunuru,

    Problem 1:
    In your interface, go to the mapping tab.
    Click "Target data store" on the top right of your screen and then enter a name for the data (bottom) store.

    Problem 2:
    Your probably forgotten point 4 and point 5 of this article: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/odi/odi_11g/odi_project_ff-to-ff/odi_project_flatfile-to-flatfile.htm#t6

    Just click the workflow tab, click your staging area and choose your IKM.
    You must also choose a LKM on the part of the source.

    It will be useful.

    Kind regards

    I suspect that your problem is illegal characters (' / ') in your path, certainly it is the case in your original vi. You need to format your path, something like this (underscore instead of a slash stroke):
