Create the path

Hello. I'm trying to follow a tutorial, but I don't get the options they do.  Basically, I created an image and converted into a clip.  Inside that clip, I create a new layer and I give both layers of 70 executives.  On the top layer, I then draw a path, right-click on the layer and choose guide.  I then and drag the lower layer, which represents my video clip under the guide layer.  The next step is to right click on the background layer, my object layer, and then choose create the motion tween.  This is blackened me however, and my only option is to create a classic Tween.

As a note, I use CS5 and the tutorial, I'm following seems to use an older version.  In addition, they don't do a right-click on the layer and choose the motion tween.  They choose the layer and as their properties panel, they have an option of interpolation in the menu drop down, they choose the movement.  I can't find this option button in my interface however.

Is there a reason why he used to allow me to make a motion tween?

y at - it advice to create the trajectory autour and object of the image?

    Arioman,

For vector illustrations (if you are referring to the object), you can use the appearance palette flyout and adds a new line (you can add several ones with desired weight of race and color (and transparency > opacity may be set to 0%).) You can drag the new line below the filling to have only the outer ring of half of it appear (so you will need to double the weight race).

For images with transparency raster, you can redraw the outside contour with the right tools (Pen Tool, Ellipse tool, what is appropriate), or you can Auto/Live Trace the outer contour (you may need to develop) and then apply whatever the race weight, color, whatever, you want.

For raster with just a rectangular border images, you can object > flatten transparency, then separate and flatten transparency and apply the stroke to the path that was a clipping mask. You can use the object > offset by half the weight of the race if you want the path outside of the frame. There may be other ways in the new version (s).

If you use Image/Live Trace, you can set for the race, does not, in the options.

Or you can redraw with the tool pen on top of the locked image and get the path in this way.

You can close the red Road (just a straight segment path), and then of Pathfinder > ditch, then Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to Ungropup, and then select the two paths to the left and Pathfinder > unit (or similar for the last piece, (slightly) different for some earlier versions).

So I thought to it. Paths use BeforeDraw() and EndDraw(), making the filling operations and outline Draw(). The problem is that these functions not called until the path is rendered on the canvas. So, I expanded my class path and too rolled the EndDraw() function. In this function, I sent an event. Then, when I catch the event I can get the DisplayObject of the track (which is now filled) and pass this object in BitmapData().

  • Remove the path type without deleting the path

I accidentally created a path of kind of a way, I wanted to keep to a brush stroke. Whenever I select the type and delete the entire path is deleted. Or if I'm going to object > path > clean until... > empty text paths it tells me that there is nothing to clean up. I really wish to remove the path type if I can put a brush stroke on it instead of completely making the new path. It took me some time to create the path to the way I wanted it, so if there is a way to remove the type would be great. I searched on adobe site and Googling it and so far I have not found help. If anyone needs more information to help me understand that I will do my best to provide it.
    Thank you!

If you were able to group - select just the path, make a copy and paste as I suggested.

Keyboard shortcuts are Cmd + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (Win) to copy. CMD + V / Ctrl + V for paste. (These are under the Edit menu.)

This gives you a new copy of the original track with no remnants of the text. If you are satisfied, you remove the original path with text. Is not that what you want?

  • Why the path I create in Illustrator CC never rest in place?

Is there a current bug in the tool path in Illustrator CC? I tried grid align, Snap Gird, Guides, snap to Guides, enabled all the Options to turn power on and off. No matter what I try to solve the problem, the way I create will not remain in the position that I place when adding properties. Adding an accident stroke to the path causes the path to awkwardly move in a random direction, mainly down. I won't 6400% zoom with the direct Selection tool and manually move the anchor points back on the guides/grids that I put up and as soon as I let go, the anchor returns to the position of the random pixel. IE - set the anchor of 400px and happen randomly to the 400.5px later. Nothing stays the place. It seems that any adjustment to the path will cause the path move randomly. It's extremely frustrating trying to keep things clean and precise. I spend more time trying to solve the buggy movements than to actually create my work.

Is there a setting preferably I'm missing that causes this or is this a real bug?

    410er0r,

Just to be sure: is to line up on the grid of pixels completely off?

Otherwise, you can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.
