Creating a device with only one key Windows 8 start?

I recently bought a new HARD drive for my laptop and my original hard drive went too well to get an ISO out of it. My other computers are Windows 7, and I do not have a backup. I found this:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

but it's only for the upgrade of the computer you are using. I thought I saw a boot for 8.1 media where you just need the key, but I can't find anything for Windows 8. Help, please! I don't want to buy a new copy, when I have my key :(

Hello

The site offers 8 and 8.1... I don't think that you have to install...

Run through the process, you will be able to create one or Flash Drive, DVD, record an ISO (better idea)... It can be converted into anything...

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

I don't think that it will work with OEM pre-installed Windows...

Is there another link to download Win 8.1 which requires no key until it is installed.

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Depending on your installation, you may need a temporary license key to win 8.1, then after installation you can enable it with the key Win 8...

    Hello, Jeff

At first, I must say that it is not toshiba Help Center, but user forum created by Toshiba, so if you wait for the response from Toshiba people here you are in the wrong place.
In any case, in this forum, you can pick up some very useful information and a lot of people here can help you with your problems.

    Return to described the issue.
Unfortunately you do not understand how it works with the product key and Windows Setup, so I'll try to help you with this.
Each computer toshiba laptop comes with preinstalled operating system (recovery image) and the product key at the bottom of your laptop belongs to this version. With other words: when you buy the new laptop, you have to pay for hardware, operating system and a license for this preinstalled OS. Product key at the bottom is not a kind of universal product key and cannot be used for activation of another version of Windows.

You can use the delivered Toshiba recovery disc that contains mage replicated several times and each time you will have activated the operating system. When you use the Microsoft disk for the installation of the OS you must have valid product key which belongs to this particular version.

In your case product key is for Vista, and you cannot use it for Win7 activation. This product key is... unnecessary.

If you have any other questions you are welcome.

  • My key Windows VistaTM Starter will not work

My laptop was bought after 3 years... and now I'm fighting through activation problems.

When it is freshly installed by my uncle (in fact it has just changed), a technician was there to set up our component; He saw my notebook and asked if he wants me to degrade to XP because Vista is slow... since I'm naïve at this point, I just said yes, not knowing that my uncle made a lot of changes to the laptop.
For about 1 year, I went through different reformat (after degradation 1 time, I asked him to update back); up to 1 times my license key has stopped working. It's a key Windows VistaTM Starter legitimate , I asked some elderly parents w / knowledge to my problem and said it could be that someone stole my key.
I said 'No' because the key is known only to me and to the technician. I don't know if it uses it or what, but I can't activate it.
My laptop does not now, and he's going to need someone to fix soon... but here is some information that might help:
    • I have the media recovery disk, all the stuff for Windows Vista and the LG drive (where you can install display, sound drivers etc..).
    • The laptop model is LG RD405.
I hope someone could help me. PS; the call of my country cost much so I can't take the phone option especially since I have a bit in hearing deficit... and my position is on the Philippines.

  • Strange behavior when creating a composite with ' without validating key. '

    Hi all

It's very strange for me. Can you please tell me where I am wrong.

I want to create a composite key for the combination "INT_ID" and "STO_ID" columns in the table "act_ord". because this table contains already more entries in double for this combination, I decided to use 'enable novalidate' to skip validation for records duplicate already existing while creating constraints. But I get the following error "ORA-02260: table can have only one primary key" executing the below statement 1.1. If I create a 1 column with option novalidate constraint means, its working fine.
1.1 Not working:- Giving error ORA-02260: table can have only one primary key
ALTER TABLE ACT_ORD ADD CONSTRAINT PK_INT_ORD
     PRIMARY KEY   (INT_ID,STO_ID) enable novalidate
    1.2 Working without any error:
ALTER TABLE SPL_VAS.ACT_ORDER ADD CONSTRAINT PK_INT_STO_ORD
     PRIMARY KEY   (INT_ID) enable novalidate
Is there a limitation of use 'enable novalidate' with the creation of composite primary key?

Please take the necessary steps and make your suggestions.

    Kind regards
    Jame

It is clear to me why you get this error. Here's a unit test where I get a different error (more logical).

Note: to do this, you must first create a NON-unique index on the columns that you want to be in the primary key. Then use the clause for INDEXING to HELP when you add the primary key.

  • Open Firefox, showing a tab, even with only one page

I use Firefox on Mac. After a new update at the moment, Firefox takes up screen real estate at the top of its window to display a tab, even when there is no other page open (that is, there is only one tab). I only need to see the tabs if I have more than one open, but I can't find a framework to fight against this.

    Hello

In Firefox 23, as part of an effort to simplify the firefox options define and protect users against unintentially damage their Firefox, the option to hide the tab bar has been removed.

    Refer to: http://limi.net/checkboxes-that-kill

Fortunately, this can easily be solved if you want the tabs to keep hidden. You can install 'hide the bar tab with a tab' and extension hosted on the website of Mozilla Add - ons, which will restore the ability to hide the tab bar.

Thank you and I hope this helps!

  • MAF: Not able to run the sample project or a simple project with only one page

    Hi all

I am trying to run examples of applications of the MAF delivered with Jdeveloper 12.1.3. I am not able to run these applications on the device in the emulator. They gets deployed successfully. However, when I try to open these applications, it hangs on the initial screen of the Oracle.

I even tried to create a new MAF application with only a device with a page of the AMX. Tried to deploy, but still get the same result.

No idea what could be the problem?

    Thank you

    Ajay

    Hello

Problem has been resolved, after the re-installation of the Jdev and MAF extension.

Understood that somehome, maf - application.xml couldn't refer to the features of the maf - feature.xml. When I created a new feature in the MAF - feature.xml, it was the adfmf - feature.xml and maf-application creation could refer to the functionality of this file.

This seems to me an installation problem. I have therefore re-installed, now its works very well.

    Thank you

  • Create a CD with jpg files in Windows 7 to be read on Mac

I am aware that most advanced users would scoff, but yes, I work under WIndows and my only hope is that the quantity huge knowledge, professionalism and kindness, combined with inquiring minds, that I find on this forum, could help me find the solution. I am trying to create a CD with photos in JPG format. The CD must be red on a Mac. The only thing I know about Apple is that the o/s is different from Windows. MAC user doesn't know much on his computer and said that usually, when you insert the CD, it appears on the desktop. Those that I created in Windows are not. Could someone help? Thanks in advance.

Well, I just answered my own question and am posting this just in case someone else had the same problem. The new format of files is universal, so, basically, if you work in a newer Windows (Vista, 7) and Mac is at least version 9.0, it would not have problems playing disks in Windows. I had a problem because the Mac machine that I was trying to read the disc of Windows was old. If anyone is interested to learn more about, here's a link to an array of explaing the o/s formats

  • Floppy drive icon not shown in "Devices with removable storage" in Windows 7

I have a floppy drive connected to my motherboard, and it has been activated on my board Super IO Configuration in my UEFI.  I have a hard drive with Windows 7 installed, and a hard drive with Windows XP installed.

In Windows XP, in the window my computer , under "Devices with removable storage", my floppy drive icon here and I can access the drive.  But in Windows 7, the floppy icon is not there, and when I type "A:" in the search bar, I get "the system cannot find the drive specified."

I checked the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices registry, and I see the A: drive among the mounted devices.  I checked my Device Manager window, and I see 'floppy drive controllers' in the list, but not "floppy drive", I see in Windows XP.

How can I get my floppy drive activated or reactivated in Windows 7, with the floppy disk icon showing?

Never mind.  I received my floppy drive in Windows 7.

    Here's what I did:

I'm back in my UEFI and disabled the floppy controller in my Super IO Configuration and starts in the two Windows operating systems.  The floppy drive, of course, disappeared in Windows XP.

I tucked my UEFI and re-activated my floppy controller.  Now, the drive appears in Windows XP and Win7.

  • Set up after effects CS 6 for rendering in a network with only one license.

I searched on and off a few days to find specific installation instructions for submitting projects for the network rendering but all I can find refers to installation somehow AE on several machines in non-licence mode and, essentially, to present a 'batch' type work to be distributed, sync'd and collected. OK, I get this. But I can't find anything on the details of the installation on several machines.

So if I understand things at this point, the question is really how to install several copies of the AE6 to systems with only a single license? I have a license key single with a 6 Suite Premium CS and wait that I would not be able to cross activation after installation or have afraid to try for fear that Adobe thinks I'm trying to dodge the licenses.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    > afraid to try for fear that Adobe thinks I'm trying to dodge the licenses

Do not be afraid. Do it. There is no risk in trying to install the software on as many machines as you want. Even in cases where you have only a license to use our software on two machines, the worst thing that happens is said you to disable on a computer before turning on another.

  • How use only one key USB to transfer 'easy' data once it's full.

I try to do a Windows easy transfer to transfer all my files from my old PC with XP (17 GB) to my new one, which has Vista.  I am using a portable USB drive that can hold 8 GB.  After the first round of copy of the files on the disk, inserting in the new PC and transfer them, I insert the drive in that for the second round, and of course, it is full.

I don't know how to clear some space on the flash drive.  I can just erase the entire disk, but I do not know what records among MigWiz records that have been created, containing the files I transferred and can now delete.  I was hoping that the Assistant could guide me through this option.

After that a USB cable, I had did not work, this is my second method of 'transfer '.  It is certainly NOT a process very "easy".  Help, please.

    Hello kimikat, welcome.

MigWiz will pack all your data migration in a single very compressed file. Therefore, there is no direct way to take the content. My recommendation would be to use MigWiz transfer on all your user settings and then whatever it is like music, pictures or video - transfer on separately.

Try it and let us know.
