  I'm really becoming disillusioned and anrgy. In the last 5 weeks or so I installed Windows 7 on at least 11 PCs,... and in all cases, bar 1, I am facing the same problem. I use the Start button, windows update to check for updates after a new installation, sometimes in a few seconds, I get the red error message, other times the normal practice of verification of updates begins. Invariably, nothing happens except the window Windows Update appears to 'disappear' or forget it works, so I start it again, wait forever and finally get the Red writes the error message. I tried the windows online and offline "Fixit and the right sequence is repeated continuously." Yesterday morning at 04:00 [if there are 36 hours] I completed a new installation, over the next 24 hours, I have to have rebooted and retried the windows update at least 4 times. I also tried a couple of different ' FixIt. This morning, becoming almost ready to... Yet once, I tried to use the updates. He did what he normally does... the scan, check... check... NOPE! nothing for you. So I tried the specific 'fixit' MicrosoftFixit.wu.LB.7235772074748435.1.1.Run it tooks ages and ages to complete... but once it was over, no changes because no errors not found.   The error you receive occurs if there is corruption in the manifest of component maintenance base.  The only way to fix this is to do a "repair" of Windows Vista installation.

  More than likely it has a compatibility issue
  with the Audio file (music). Conversion to the
  Format WMA before you import into Movie Maker
  may be worth a try:

Everything is fine with it, but when I try to install updates (recommended or optional) window says that it downloads the updates, but the progress remains to 0KB and 0% downloaded status. I tried to restart the service of windows update with utility update of windows running, but without success. However, I was able to install updates, most of them associated with Microsoft.NET framework 3.5.1 (I'm not sure of the version of the .NET Framework is installed in my computer). But when I tried to install other updates updated security windows or .NET Framework 4. XX version update, he gave the same answer that I mentioned above.

  M$ has abused more than system update in 2015 and that continues in 2016.

  I usually don't worry about this if updates are they come if not well welcome to 2020 support ended in the beginning

  Do not use Internet Explore / MSE / Windows Firewall / Windows defender

  Find alternatives for all of the foregoing

  Free Panda who has a firewall

  Premium not free malwarebytes, but it has a free version

  Superaitispyware pro, which also has a free version

  Moon pale x 64 bit is quite good with Firefox.

  In the end, you can use a standard account instead of an administrator account and be safer.

  You can still enter a password if you are prompted to run the items that you know are safe.

• Fix for common problems associated with Windows Update repeatedly trying to solve the same problem

  When the machine running Windows Update on a Windows XP Professional (SP3 with IE8), the information for the download of the ActiveX bar does not appear. Tried to run the Fix for "Common problems with Windows Update" and it says "Windows Update components must be repaired. Difficulty-it short, reports of success, "Found Themes" saying "one or more components of Windows Update are configured incorrectly". However, still unable to download updates from the information bar does not appear. Repeating the difficulty happens with exactly the same problem i.e. reports etc. but no success still can not download the ActiveX on Windows Update since the information bar never shows up.

  No, I'm not not first uninstall IE8 (or IE7) before proceeding with the repair facility...

  Long history, technical, short version: do not uninstall IE8 (and/or IE7) before doing a repair installation (Windows XP only!) leaves the two Internet Explorer and Windows in a State of "confused" or "broken". Your only recourse now is a clean install of Windows (after backup your personal data).

  No, another repair facility won't solve the problem - even if you uninstall IE8 beforehand.

  In the thread above, I was following the post on 30 August.  According to Option A, I completed step 5 for the uninstallation of McAfee Security.  At this time, my network card has stopped working.  On the recommendation of the officer, I posted to the Malwarebytes forum.  The officer determined Malwarebytes that I don't have a malicious software.  I ended up posting on forum McAfee to get my network card works again.  Then I reinstalled McAfee and start to run Windows Update.

  If Windows Update error 80072f8f during updates, date and time on your computer may not be identical to the date and time for the service online from Windows Update. Your computer and the service have no need to have an identical date and time, but if they vary too much it will prevent you from checking for updates.
