Creating a DVD with camera HDD as source - better items than first pro + yet?

Hello

I recently received a request to transfer the video to a basic SD HDD camera that creates files encoded to mpeg - DVD and I leaned in some options to do so.

There is one thing I need to clarify a bit of everything, and I hope someone here can help.

In Premiere Elements the dvd creation and video editing is in the same program, and it seems to me that after mounting and press on create disc, there is a process of encoding taken to create vob files.

In the Premiere Pro / again workflow, however, it seems that Premiere Pro first encodes mpeg compatible dvd, and then after importation do files again it is possible that again also transcodes the mpeg files to make them go up a dvd.

Which if true, would make the worst material quality target in this workflow compared to first elements.

If so far, I have concluded that given the source that I use for video, it seems I want to get the best output quality by using items first that

Prempro/still.

My observations are correct in this case?

Now, I know I could probably set the encoder settings so that the files do not match a dvd disc, but I prefer the approach where I just say "4.7 GB dvd" to avoid transcoding in Encore and figures the encoder to what compression to use.

I don't know where to stop, but I see that it should have been earlier. Still, if others have similar questions, they have a few comments to fall back on.

What you describe, I think that PrE will work fine. However, still can do the same thing, if used correctly. Pre has just done the same behind the scenes and will actually run faster. It's like having a really good Adobe Dynamic Link built in. Account only, which might swing my vote to pre, with the description of your project. Now, done correctly, the resulting video DVD will have only a small difference - the burn speed is automatically configured in pre. This will NOT affect the quality, but could play a role in the gameplay on various set-top players.

Regardless of your choice of authoring software, use better blank media you can. It boils down to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. There are other Virgin Media, Falcon, that gets good reviews from a respected here, contributor Jim Simon. I have yet to try it, but just on the REB.

Good luck

  • How to create a DVD with DVD Studio Pro and an external DVD burner?

    Hello

I am trying to create a DVD with DVD Studio Pro. My internal DVD drive no longer works. I have an external DVD burner - slim portable DVD writer. I create the project into DVD Studio Pro, and when in the program, it works fine when I "stimulate". Well, I can't burn it.  When I look for the external DVD writer in my finder, it is not and I don't know how or where to select the option so it is programmed to burn the external DVD writer. Any advice? Thank you have a great week.

I found a thread that has addressed this issue, but does not help me to solve my problem. Meg the dog was told this to her in question written by Scott Stark. I tried his solution of generation and format, but after pressing the burn a window appears saying "insert disc please insert acceptable DVD recordable media."  I tried to use another blank DVD, it did not help. I use Word for Word, I heard that those who are the best blank DVDs, you can buy. Thanks again for your time!

  • Creating a DVD with several file format of files/best project for export (PE13)

Hello! I first 13 (just improved 10) elements and trying to figure out the best way to save my movie on DVD. There are at least two different project files (the film, shock and eventually a video "making of") that I want to put on the same DVD with a menu. A couple of years, trying to do this with first Elements 10, I could not get it to work and had to use a separate DVD menu software. I can do that again, if I need to, but the software I used was lost, so I thought I would check to see if it can be done first before going to buy it again.

If I can't do it in first, I need advice on the best format to save project files to burn to DVD later. I'm a novice, and most of these sizes looks like gibberish to me! I had problems in the past (a few years ago) with a black border appears around the film, after he was saved, reducing the size of the movie, and I'm hoping to avoid that...

The film is about 1 1/2 hrs long

The blooper reel is about 17 minutes

If there is more info to help answer my questions I'll be happy to find it!

Thank you for the important information for troubleshooting your Premiere Elements burn on DVD-VIDEO to DVD disc so that it presents throughout without black borders.

Open the first elements 13/13.1 to his Expert workspace, go to file Menu/New/Project and set the project preset manually to

    NTSC

    DV widescreen

    Do follow the following order

    • Open the project in the workspace Expert and go to file menu/new project and change the settings.
    • In the settings, set the project preset to NTSC/DV widescreen. OK to get out of there.
    • In the dialog box new project opens, rename the project and make sure you have a checkmark next to the "Force selected setting on this project." OK to get out of there.
    • In the Expert workspace, import your media source by using Add Media / choice.

Import your Source 3 (720 x 480 widescreen display 16:9) - which should occupy all the space area monitor Edit which is a space of DV widescreen size.

Import your Source 1 (1920 x 1080 16:9)-that must fill the space of the monitor Edit once the scale is automatically just to fill the space of the Edit monitor.

Import your Source 2 (720 x 480 which is what is because it has a format of 1.0 pixels)-that does not fit properly. Balance this video in Edit area monitor to enter space monitor without black borders.

It is unclear why the project 720 p settings have been set for this instead of NTSC DV widescreen. But please implement your project as described above, then export as suggested.

I have suggested above based on destination DVD VIDEO to DVD disc. When you have a montage with several formats, you set an adjustment everything with scaling in the monitor area space Edit put in place by the predefined project and major. General guideline - the project preset should correspond to the properties of the media source... and with more than one type of format, you define major and if adapt everything with scaling if you don't want black borders.

Another tip... When you want to scale width and height separately in edit box monitor, first go to applied effects tab/Applied effects Palette/panel of the selected clip expanded Motion and remove the box keep the Proportions.

Please consider. And then we'll try to condense all that into a workflow that will work for you.

    Thank you.

  • How to create a DVD with downloadable pdf content for PC and MAC

    Hello

I need to create a DVD where the text (information) on the DVD should be downloadable as a PDF (for PC and MAC)

I didn't ' t find answers in the chapters help (it's also not so easy because my application is in German)

I really appreciate if someone nows how to do with even CS5.

    Thank you

The computer doesn't do not part of the DVD specification, so you can not do this

The closest you can do is put your PDF files or text in a file and include that file in the contents of the ROM which again will then include in the project that is written on the disc (help looking for rom content)

You cannot link to the files in your project again (as I have said, is not part of the DVD specification) in order to send you an external note with directions to the folder on the DVD, or put a page title linked from a menu with directions line... or both

  • How can I create a dvd with CC 2015?

I need to burn a video dvd with Adobe CC 2015. I always did with recall, with CS6 and earlier, but now I see that there is not in 2015 from CC. How can I do?

This screenshot (with the gear wheel next to the Open button), see section the latest Versions from the drop-down list.

To download CS6, article in the find additional Apps, select the previous Version, and then click on install next to Premiere Pro. That will generate a drop-down list you can select CS6 must be installed.

  • Problem with the creation of a framework implemented in first Pro CS5 masks

I'm having a problem with creating masks of an exported framework generated from first Pro CS5. I export the image that is 720 x 480. I open the image in Photoshop and check that there is still 720 x 480, change it to create my mask and important in Premier Pro to find the frame is therefore more 720 x 480. To see if the problem is with Photoshop I tried to export a picture and immediately re - import the back always first.  Of course, he has apparently changed aspect because it shows with vertical black bars on either side in the source viewer and actually overlaps the clip original/image as an image horizontally narrowed as part of the program sequence. No idea what I'm doing wrong?

I am assuming that you are working with a DV footage in a DV sequence; This video format uses non-square pixels, but the images have square pixels. Probably, the pixel aspect ratio (PAR) of the imported image is not be interpreted correctly.

Right-click on your any graph, and then select Edit > interpret footage. Check that the format of the pixels in the image is set; If this isn't D1/DV NTSC (. 9091), click on the option button "Conform" and choose that BY the menu drop down.

  • No visible video in the source or program windows - first Pro CC 2014 8.2.0

I've just updated for first Pro CC 2014 version 8.2.0, and now no matter what I try, no video is visible in the source or program window.  I used 8.0.0 with no problems (at least not this one), but was forced to update to open the calendar of a customer.  I was having exactly the same problem with the update 8.1 a few months ago and has been forced to downgrade to 8.0.0 to see my video.

It doesn't matter what is the codec, or if it is an image file, bars and tone or a title rendered in first.  Nothing.  If I play or rub I hear audio, video, not at all.

It really blows that a project saved to 8.2 will not be open to 8.0.  They are the two Premiere Pro CC 2014.

Looks like it has something to do with my video card, because when I resize the Windows I'm presented with a bunch of flight of the vertical blue lines.

I'm on a 2012 bicoeur Mac Pro with OS 10.9.5, ATI Radeon HD 5870 video card stock.

I looked first preferences to see if there is some kind of active Accelerator GPU or something, but I don't see anything like that.  Anywhere else that I can look at?

It is a big problem.  I pay $50 / month for this?

    Marshall Arts Motion Graphics

Okay, I found the problem.  My project settings had failed in the Mercury Playback Engine acceleration GPU (Open CL).  I guess that ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB card is not compatible with this, so go to the option of read only software resolved the problem.

    Phew.

  • How can I get the best quality when creating a DVD

    Hey everybody

I really hope you can help because I'm more frustrated. That is the problem.

Each month, we create a DVD with all the latest trailers on them playing in video stores.

Here are the steps that we take

    1. download the trailer for quicktime 720 p on the web

    2. We then change the first Pro CC
    3. we add a graphic overlay (its a 1280 X 720, 72 dpi TIFF) I use the CC Photoshop preset for it
4 export the project to the h.264 (.mp4) format (flow target 7.5, 7.5 maximum Bitrate, quality use Mailhot invalidate) it comes out beautiful in HD 720 p.

    Then we open again CS6

    1. start a new chronology

    2 import our .mp4 file
    3. define our transcoding. Now, here's the problem, I tried each preset. With custtominzing, our most recent has been...

    Screen Shot 2013-08-08 at 1.27.32 PM.png
Then go us to the author of it. But when its done, it is so blurry you can't read text on the screen. Now, I know that DVD IS NOT HD, I get it, but it must always be readable? That's the best I can get? Here are a few screenshots (sorry I had to take with my camera to the DVD and you can see how blurry.)

    DVD1.jpg

    DVD2.jpg

Any help would be appreciated as our client is really getting annoyed with the quality. Society before us used Premier Pro and still but it came out in a most pleasant way. Im just lost here.

Export first as MPEG2-DVD. Or something without loss to export even if you have only a compression.

  • Portege R600 - cannot create recovery DVDs

Hello! I just bought Toshiba Portege R600-146 and attempted to create a DVD with the system recovery but DVD drive does not recognize DVD discs and fails the diagnostic test PC CD/DVD Toshiba. I can't even create a backup of the system.

Is it a software fault (Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 844 S USB Device drivers or compatibility with Windows 7) or the material, and how can this be resolved?

    Hi Dmitry_3,

Have you already checked if the CD/DVD drive is properly recognized in Device Manager or it appears with a yellow exclamation point?

In this case, it might help remove upper and lower filters:
    + 1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit).
    + 2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} +.
+ 3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters". +
    + 4) reboot. +
