Creating a movie from image files

What I really want to do is to export all frames of a movie as image files file, apply a couple of filters to each of them in Photoshop and then join them all again in a movie file. I've already done the first two parts (a big thanks to the people on these forums who helped me), but I don't know how to attach the images once again after finishing with them in Photoshop. Any help?

Since you ask this on a forum Director, I'll assume you want a solution for Director.  You can create a new film, set to the size and the desired pace, and then add your images, one for each image.  Then you can go to file, export... and set the Quicktime Format.  This will make the film as a mov file which you can recompress using one of the many free/shareware programs to make any desired file format.

Of course, a much better thing to do would be to open your original animation in a program like After Effects and add your filters here.  It also allows the same filters that Photoshop has and does not require as much.

    Vincent,

If you use Acrobat pro, build your .pdf file, and then save it as (french version):

... so that everyone using Acrobat Reader (or Pro, of course) can change the file .pdf (with restrictions), add comments...

If you want to try to 'protect' your .pdf file, you can try with this (in the menu 'Preferences' (french version)):

  • JavaScript can be used to replace images in a PDF from image files batch?

I want to batch process the images in PDF files. I think how to do would be to export all the images in the PDF to separate image files, batch treat those in a photo editor, and then use javascript to batch replace images of the original PDF with the transformed versions. However I could not find any indication of this ability in the kit SDK Acrobat or any mention on the internets to anyone who tried. Does anyone know if we can at least in theory? Can someone point me to the right function to use?

Note that there are more in these PDF documents as images, so rebuild new PDF files processed image files is not an option.

No, it isn't. JS doesn't have access to the image stream in a PDF file. In principle, you can overlay the old images with new ones (using the button fields to contain the new images), but then the problem is that you cannot detect the location of the old images. In short, you need to look for an alternative.

  • Burn pictures from image file on a CD - RW

I'm trying to burn pictures of my images on a CD - RW disc folder. The disc is brand new. I put in and tell him I want to burn to the disc. It starts to get in shape and said, "Formatting(576MB)" and then run with the green line creeping for about 20 minutes while declaring "15 seconds remaining" then 10 seconds, then 5, then 0. When it is all green, rather than get the open disk and be able to slide in there, I get a warning label that says: "Windows could not complete the format." and nothing is on the disk. I tried three times. What can I do to get my photos on a disc?

  • I created a PDF from InDesign file and printing wants convert me to curves...

... I don't have Illustrator, so I don't see how I can convert the file in curves and I really don't understand why I should. The file will print well on my printer and when they sound proof in their printer there is no errors. So, why would they change for an Illustrator file and convert to curves? It seems that technology goes backward rather than forward for me. Does anyone have the answers elsewhere telling me to buy Illustrator (or subscribe) or telling me to recreate the document (which I don't have time to do? Thank you.

You should not. You should find a printer that works in this century.

That said, if another printer that is not an option for some reason, make sure that there is no transparency on EACH page, so you can use a parameter of flattening personalized setting to convert type to outlines during flattening (the only way to preserve things like points out, paragraph nets and automatic bullets and numbers). • image file could not move to trash

Running Lightroom CC on my iMac, I saw this warning of an operation to move some image files to the Trash:

These files are located on a volume that does not trash. You want to remove them permanently?

They are on a volume on an external hard drive and I would have preferred that they go into a trash can so that I could save if I'd made a mistake.

What kind of car is not a trash can?

    Hi bobgoldstein,

Could you please confirm the version of Lightroom that you work?

Also if you try to delete any image that is imported from the internal hard drive of the computer

  • LR6 cannot prepare the Image file to use w / plugins or other publishers

After having transferred my files DNG image LR6 on the drive internal of my Mac on an external hard drive, I am unable to use plug-ins or other image editors, like NIK plug ins or publishers of PS or affinity I used before. I did not move the image files using the operating system but don't have in LR drag - move my photos from my internal HD file to a new pictures folder configured in an HD external, made it in the Panel LR folders on the left side of the screen of the library. Now, when I try to use any plug in NIK or another editor, I get the following message appears:

"Lightroom could not prepare the file selected to Volumes/G-DRIVE/JTO LR6 Photos/2016/2016-01-03/1601_untitled_570.DNG for editing. It will not open. "The same message for image files I select for use in my plug ins or other publishers.

After that I moved the files to the new drive, in the library toolbar I also clicked on the options to find all records of missing persons and to validate DNG files. All him remains checked & seems to work as it should.  I also determined that I have on the new external drive write permissions by reviewing it in the window read the information.  Adobe LR online support also suggested remove my files of preference LR that slowed now on LR.  Can someone figure this or help me do?

I'm not certain how or when I had actually these problems solved, but after reset files preferably twice & install the upgrade to LR6.6 & Optimizing my catalog & restarting the Mac after each of these actions, I am now able to use the function "change in" in the toolbar pictures to access all of my NIK plug ins & my external editors (Photoshop CS5 & affinity Photo). In the middle of all this that I started also encounter behavior very slow & erratic LR, as well as the inability to recognize & load images of my folders in the library, which forced me force leave once.  If at this point, I'll just keep my fingers crossed & exploit!

  • How can I move my images on a network drive

I am willing to spend my images to a network storage array.  I currently have several lightroom catalogs.  I have all my files on a single disk, as well as the OS and the application.  How can I move the image files so that all catalogs will work and where to find the new location?

You should be able to simply drag and drop files from the folders tree in the library of your network drive module. Attention to the progress bar in the upper left corner of the screen of Lightroom and make sure that you do not close Lightroom while the transfer is in progress.

The other method would be to use your system browser (Explorer or Finder) and move your images to the network drive. You would then follow the instructions below on how to recreate a link to your pictures.

  • Files adjusted in Lightroom transfer to another computer if you need to reload the image files?

I'm used to make adjustments in Camera RAW and copy the image files for use on multiple workstations.  In this case, my settings go with the image file.  If I do my settings using Lightroom and move the image files to another computer I'll lose these adjustments?  I wonder if I invest all my time adjustment using Lightroom and my computer freezes I'll lose these adjustments even if I am backing up my files to an external drive.

You wrote: "if I do my settings using Lightroom and move the image files to another computer I lose these adaptations?

Yes, you will lose them unless you save in xmp. You're saving xmp is pressing the CTRL / Cmd + letter "S" or

    (a) in the library Module, you'll > metadata > save metadata to file, or

    (b) in the develop Module, you'll > Photo > save metadata to file.

Without , Lr writes the changes to the catalog only. And, if you transfer pictures without the catalog to another computer your changes will be lost on the second computer.

By an xmp file will be created that stores changes. In the case of a DNG format changes are not written in Xmp, but in the file header - same effect.

Note, however, that not everything can be stored in xmp files. For example, collections, stacking are stored in the catalog only.

This is probably because the record to xmp has been created to allow adjustment of Lr can be accessed in other Adobe products (for example, bridge). Naturally, only those "features" should be written in xmp that the other program can display.

  • Acrobat Adobe standard DC will not create a PDF from pagemaker 7

    WHY

To create a PDF from PageMaker file (if ever, it was meant to, which I doubt) it would need a working copy of PageMaker on a supported Windows version. PageMaker support ended with Windows XP.
