Creating a search box on a view

Hello experts,

Today is my First day using oracle forms and I sat with her for 5 hours now and there is no at all on my side, of the joy

I need to create a window that will allow me to perform certain tasks.

First things first, I created a view of 2 tables and managed to post my notice on my window :)

Now, I created 2 revenge.

1 datablock will display the data in my opinion.

2nd datablock will allow me to update one of the paintings that I used to create this view.

in my first datablock that I have to create a search box with a search button, I managed to get the text field and button but now I can't seem to find how to link which in my opinion.

Please helpppp

Thank you

In fact if your data block depends on the database object, then F7 and F8 should work. And the code that you have demonstrated
We can help you but it is alternative of F7 and F8 and normally we use when we try to open another of the
existing form. or if you want to write this code in your form to exist, then you can write in WHEN BUTTON PRESSED
trigger. But it only works for a single field because you created one field of research.

And also answer the previous post? So, can find the best solution, then this.

Hi there - for questions on individual programs, you should post in the specific forums. Here is the Muse forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/general_questions_about_adobe_muse

That being said, there is not currently a widget bar research that can be added to a site directly from Muse. However, you can add HTML custom code to your page, with a method like this: http://www.ehow.com/how_6772398_embed-google-search-bar.html. Simply add the HTML code that is customized to your Muse page by accessing the object > insert HTML code.

  • Search box in the adf 11.6

    Hello

We must create an af:quickQuery using the viewcriteria. When I drag and drop the VC, I couldn't find the option for af:QuickQuery, I could see option for only af:query.

Please suggest how to create the search box using the af: QuickQuery based on the viewcriteria? (not based on the "All searchable attributes" option)

    Thank you

AF:quickquery can only rely on the default display criteria ("all attributes searchable").

Maybe you can try to intercept the default query (in custom help queryListener) and run your display criteria.

  • Customize the search box on LOV - basic mode

I created a text of entry with a list of values in JDev 11.1.1.2 and designed the search box this LOV in basic mode (mode in advance) for fields in the drop-down list box to choose the search as condition: contains, begins with, equal to... disappear.
I wonder if there is way to all fields of research in a State 'Contains' in this basic mode (because now, by default, in my region, the search for some research fields 'Contains' and some in "equal to").
We know how, please help. Thank you.

    I use JDev 11.1.1.2.
With the help of your LOVSearchRegion, I can't access the search list in the tab Interface user Hint If the LOV_DepartmentName Edit list values editor because he is disabled.

Change the "default list" for a type LOV (no choicelist).

In addition, it is possible if the display criteria and the list of values belong to the same object in view.

    Yes. It is possible.

  • How can I return search box in a new tab? When I open a new tab, it is only to show the address bar.

When I click on + to open a new tab, this tab shows only the address bar, no search box! This problem is created suddenly. Previously, this problem, when I opened a new tab it shows google search box and the address bar. Now, the address bar of the new tab worked for both page looking box and address bar.

I followed: config process and it's worked. But, when I start my computer after a few more hours I see this problem! What can I do? Please tell me.

I have attached a picture of your understanding.

I wouldn't try a reinstall immediately. An ordinary reinstall often not made the changes that it would bring.

user.js file will be a small file in your profile and contained text. If copy you and rename user . txt or user.js.txt it will be readable by any word processor, even if Notepad can open it is.

Paste the content in your next reply. He can give us some clues as to what is happening.

In fact the user.js file will change behavior of Firefox and you want to simply rename temporarily; instead of renaming a copy; in order to disable and see what happens.

Just another thought the usual options used for newtabs

    • Subject: white - it's a plain blankpage, no bar to search it.
    • Subject: newtab - currently by default has a search bar and the tiles
    • topic: home - a search bar and some settings icons etc

You can try one of these out by typing in the address bar Subject: House or whatever, (or try on: subject).

It is has two troubleshooting steps simple which will help, but you don't seem to have tried yet.

First, try fashion without failure of Firefox.
For example, in now the SHIFT key when you click the icon to start Firefox

The second interesting to try procedure is to create a new additional profile for test purposes. Which erases most of the settings and not be affected by file user.js or interfere with your existing settup. You get the choice what profile to use when you start Firefox.

  • Directions to change tools, Options, content, fonts and colors do not change the police in the Start Page Google search box. Solution, please?

    Hello "it takes a community."
I'm new to Mozilla Firefox, which seems more to a wall climbing of a learning curve. But I like it much better than the Google home page.

    • I use a Toshiba laptop and a Windows 7 system.
    • Mozilla Firefox start page has a Google search box in the middle of the page. The police in and around the box looks like a 4. Whatever it is, I can't see the words easily.
    • Click on the drop-down tools, click Options, click the content changed police 12 and clicked on OK. The police has not changed on the start page.
    • I went to the option advanced and not clicked the box to allow Web sites to use their own fonts, but that did not help at all.
    • Then, looked everywhere in the Google support site, but I couldn't find a solution.

Perhaps using the word "police" in my research is my problem! I looked for a solution for well over an hour.

Help, please! If things continue to go, I'm going to need an anti-depressant.

Best regards and thanks for your suggestions.

    @Terry20

    Found this.

Click on the Start button and select settings.

    Then select devices.

Click on the mouse and touch pad and scroll down and select 'extra mouse Options '.

This will open a box that should have the information and the name of the type of touchpad has your computer.

Click on settings and then in the new box that opens, you should see a tab that says 'Tapping '.

Open this tab and you should see 'Three finger Tap' and 'four finger Tap.

Clear the check boxes, and then click 'apply '.

  • The search box in the Start Menu

I typed a word in the search box and results list the files that I was looking for.  But also displayed are backup files I had created in December, copied to my hard drive external and then deleted from my PC.  When I looked in the properties file, it said they were in my user folder. I checked and they were not in the folder of the user, nor that they were in the trash.  I typed the name of one of these files displayed in the results of the search box in the Google Desktop Search with results 0 of this description files.  Windows suddenly developed ESP with these ghost files?

    Hi Chrisana!

No problem. In Vista, choses things are a little different. Your problem is probably caused by the index not updated. The index is updated in the background, so I would check now to see if, in these last days the index has been updated and files of "shadow" will no longer appear. If the problem is not resolved, rebuild your index manually. It is a process in three easy steps.

    1. Open Indexing Options from the control panel or by typing "Indexing Options" in the search box of the start menu.
    2. Click the Advanced button. If you get a UAC prompt on the rise, click to allow.
    3. Click the Refresh button.

Once the reconstruction starts, you can click OK/Cancel out Indexing Options. He finished in the background. Note that this may take some time to complete, I suggest to leave it before leave you for the day or head to bed. Otherwise, your computer may start slow as you try to use it while indexing happens. This is why the reindexing takes place in the background, normally.

    Good luck!
