Please help me on the subject of what are the other possibilities to acquire data from the Analyzer of impedance 4395 A using the interface USB GPIB 82357 B.? Is it possible to get LABVIEW plug & play drivers for USB-GPIB 82357 B interface? Our main goal is to control the parameters of impedance measurement and draw F vs IZI and theta vs F as well as get parameters of equivalent circuit on a PC with LABVIEW GUI.

  I agree with 'heavy '. For more information on how to program a 3rd device contact the manufacturer because they have the knowledge. Unless there is already a LabVIEW driver for this device, you would have to implement that yourself and need information from the manufacturer.

  Regarding your question if the GPIB-USB is unsuitable, it is quite easy to answer: If you want to communicate with a peripheral GPIB NI GPIB-USB can do this. But you would probably need a driver to use the GPIB of meaningful communication bus.

  Channel 5 is the same as the other channels of the 4432 except it lacks excitement IEPE and TEDS.  I can't really say how "accurate", it will be at a faster rate because of the delta-sigma ADC. Someone else wants to chime in on this one?

  There are 8 PFI lines, but can only be used on the device at the same time (it might as well be one PFI).  You must have all the channels you want to raise in a task and use one as the trigger for starting digital PFI lines. (i.e. 'no' ... have a stain on the front and the other on the falling edge won't work, a task only by digital triggering)

  The 6212 differs from the 6321 somewhat on the digital side, which probably you use to control your stepper motor.  For example, it was only software DIO timed tasks and has only 2 counters with a set of features (e.g. no output meter in the buffer).

However, when you try to create an explicit task (using the DAQ assistant) in order to acquire a signal, I get the message asked supported device found¨. I can see the USB-6259 under ¨Devices and interfaces¨ to the MAX, but when I try to import the configuration data for NOR-DAQmx 8.7.2 in MAX, I get the message ¨Can´t import file configData.nce.  File not found¨. I use NEITHER-DAQmx 8.7.2.  Any suggestions?

  It is not a robust application, but the box will be moved and I don't want it put in the open air. I simply put a velcro pad on the back and the atttaching in this way. Should be all I need.

  Looks like you are using Win 98 OS is usually very old new Microsoft operating systems; Windows Me, 2000, XP and Vista include the Generic USB drivers and it is not necessary to install any USB drivers but more old OS like Win 95 or 98 needs USB drivers Win
