creating new lines of different queries
HelloI use obiee answers to create a view of pivot for my report, I am new to this tool and that's my problem.
I have 5 columns and 5 rows where measures the number of srkey for a certain object that has been filtered.
To create (new line) in total for these filtered measures, I add a calculated point new and sum row1, row2, row3 + row4 ++ row5
Now my problem is, it is possible to add a new line to calculate a total of unfiltered measures.
Thank you
Azzad
I made an example for you:

Created the form based on the table - created new line - how to retrieve line editing?
Hello
Sorry for such a stupid question, but being new in APEX, I don't know much about how the end user on a form.
I have created a new form (not in a table), based on a table.
I ran the form and created a new line.
After the line was created, the form comes back ready to create another line (all the values in the fields).
How can I go on the recovery of the line, I added just to make a few changes?
Again, please forgive my ignorance.

How to use the clause type conditionally create new lines
This question is just for learning - no object other than to start real world to create versions of some queries known to learn how to measure the performance of the MODEL clause clause of the MODEL versions.
The question is: How can you write a STANDARD clause that pivots (updates) ONLY the lines that actually need to rotate and do NOT change the lines that have no value and cannot be rotated.
I found a good site that has about two dozen example articles on different pieces. This first link is the beginning of the series.
SQL features tutorials - Clause TYPE
http://www.sqlsnippets.com/en/topic-11663.html
This link is to a clause of FAQ of BluShadow MODEL version "how to convert rows to columns."
Line - MODEL method string
http://www.sqlsnippets.com/en/topic-11987.html
The solution to this link uses this line of source:
POSITION KEY VAL
--- ---------- ----------
R08 0 v1, v2, v3,.
and this result set:
POSITION KEY VAL
--- ---------- ----------
R08 1 v1
R08 2 v2
R08 3 v3
The reason why it produces that result set is this clause of the statement of MODEL
RETURN THE UPDATED LINES
If you comment on this article, you will see that the original lines are all in position 0. This means that the solution reproduced EACH SOURCE LINE even if there is only one item in the list of values.
Thus, even a line source with a single value (for example, the r01 'a') will be updated and updated this line is returned.
For a large number of data sources with only a few lines that actually need to rotate it would be a great performance of infringement.
This is the sample data source
with t as (button 1, 'a' value 'abc' col2, col3 'def' of the double
Select Union all 2, 'b', 'ghi', 'jkl' from dual
Union all select 3, 'c, d, e, 'mno', 'pqr' from dual.
Union all select 4, 'f', 'stu', 'vwx' from dual
)
Select the key, value, col2, col3
tKEY, VALUE, COL2, COL3
1, a, abc, def
2, b, GHI, jkl
3, "c, d, e, mno, pqr.
4, f, stu, vwxLines 1, 2 and 4 only have a value of (a, b, c respectively.
Only line 3 must rotate. It contains "c, d, e" and which must become 3 lines in the result set
Value of the key, col2 col3
1 an abc def
2B ghi jkl
3 c mno, pqr
3 d mno, pqr
3 e mno, pqr
4 f stu vwxThe nut of the problem is that if the clause 'RETURN UPDATED ROWS' is used, then the lines 1, 2 and 4 must be updated in order to be returned in the result set. And if this clause is NOT used, then line 3 must be updated by 'c', d, e 'c' and two new product lines: one line for a ' and one for 'e '.
How can you do this with the TYPE clause without the help of the clause "Return LINES UPDATE"? I don't have a solution to sample showing what I tried because I can't understand what it takes to even try.
I have a solution that uses "RETURN UPDATED ROWS" but I want to compare this performance to the exercise, when this clause is NOT used.
We ask BluShadow to add the solution of MODEL clause to this FAQ with other similar solutions.

Is there a way to create a table that creates new "lines" when enter is pressed?
Hi all
I am trying to create a pdf file for my company to regularly use the packing list. Generally, this packing list is generated by our software, but our software was not designed primarily for delivery and purchase and lack of functionality. With complex or revised orders, we must create our own documents and I wanted to create something that could be used as a standard that reflects what the software has generated.
Thus, the document itself. Packing lists (or invoices or purchase orders, according to what is required at this time) have a number of elements arranged in a table with properties. These properties is the name of the item, description, how many rooms, the price, the size of the container, etc. Simple packing lists have three or four points that all fit on one page but larger orders have elements which extend into several pages, ending with a 'total' for all areas.
My question is, is - it possible ot create a table in Adobe Acrobat, DC format that allows me to create a dynamic array that can be extended (with additional lines) when necessary on another page or several pages? Table if it makes a difference, each page would have a header and a footer (information for the transport and logistics) for this 'dynamic' table would be sandwiched between these two areas.
Thank you
EDIT: I've been looking around and, I hope that Adobe Acrobat DC has this feature, but it seems the best way to acchieve that is via Adobe Live Cycle Designer, which fortunately, my supervisor has a copy. This youtube video explains, in an overview, exactly what I want to do and how to do it through this program. Perhaps that will help someone in the future who also Live Cycle:
Creating robust dynamic forms in Adobe LiveCycle® - YouTube
As you have found, it's more a characteristic of the LCD and not Acrobat. It is possible to add new fields in Acrobat, but there is no "dynamic table". It must be done manually.
Another option is to create a template page with additional fields and then reproduce a copy of it when necessary.

Escaping \n (new line) it displays only
Hi, I have simple problem here:
I have a ListView that when selected will push NavigationPane with a long description on this subject.
The long description is stored in dataModel that also contain the title of the list.
The problem is the \n (new line) in the description is literally printed as '\n' and does not do a new line.
I tried typing "Hello\nWorld" inside the TextArea.text and it doesn't create new line.
So, what's the problem here? Any solution? Thank you
Hello
"\n" resolves to unique character with code ASCII 10.
\n in text dataModel is two characters and not the line break.
How to create and fill the dataModel?UPD:
This XML must be equivalent to "\n" in C++ code, but the regular line breaks will also remain:
Another option is loading XML manually using QXmlStreamReader, by replacing the line breaks with spaces and the '\n"-s with line breaks, then adding data to GroupDataModel or ArrayDataModel." XmlDataModel is not very flexible and does not change its data.

New line in &; lt; pre &; gt; formatted text
Hi all
I noticed that dreamweaver 8 inserts < br / > tags when I created new lines when I'm editing < pre > - tag text (in design mode).
Instead, I would like that it just to create a new line in the code without a < br / > tag. This would keep the code inside the < pre > clean (this is why < pre > is really there in the first place)... IMHO it should do by default.
Is there a switch somewhere for this? Or at least a workaround solution?
Thank you!

Problem creating a new line when you use tabs regions
I'm new on JHeadstart and ADF and use the evaluation version of JHeadstart (in JDev 11.1.1.3) to judge its effectiveness for a new application of significant size. As part of this evaluation, I created a small application (you can do this with the HR schema using say the Departments table) with a single entity and VO. I then placed some fields in several regions of element within a region by tabs on the same page and below the Group (Table, Table Overflow Style available below with separator style) on JHeadstart. Display the existing lines very well and I can view the data on separate tabs.
However, if I try to create a line, I can fill in the data on the main area, but if I fill in the data on the first region of tabs I can not switch to the next without a mistake tab is generated.
for example using departments - fill DepartmentId and DepartmentName on main region, learn ManagerId on first region by tabs and try to move to the second area by tabs to fill LocationId:
Missing mandatory attributes for a line with key null of type HRModule.DepartmentsView1
DepartmentId in HRModule.DepartmentsView1 attribute is required.
DepartmentName in HRModule.DepartmentsView1 attribute is required.
If you save, and then you can navigate.
You can also prove something similar (but probably the same cause different error message) on the myJHSTutorial demo. If you go to an employee outside the regions page and try and create a new employee (using the button "+" under the label of 'Employees'), then the legs are not updated, and any attempt to change the tabs causes an error
Could not validate a line with key oracle.jbo.Key [999] in HRModule.EmployeesView3
Required attribute HRModule.EmployeesView3 wages.
Wages must be between 6000 and 12000 for this work.
The JHS Devguide does not help. Any thoughts? I can send the HR sample if you wish.David,
That is right.
The change in model will be added to the next version of JHeadstart so you don't have to make this change.Steven Davelaar,

Creating a line chart series multi with different data providers
I have 3 providers of data of the same structure that is ArrayCollection of data collection and that you want to use to create a line chart multiseriate. I don't have just 1 dataProvider that can be used but 3 different data providers of the same structure I want to use each different series.

{sale: 960000, month: new Date (February 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 475000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 425000, month: new Date (April 1, 2008 "")}

[Bindable] private var appleSales: ArrayCollection = collection
new ArrayCollection collection)

{sale: 140000, month: new Date (February 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 565000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 255000, month: new Date (April 1, 2008 "")}

{sale: 295000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 574000, month: new Date (April 1, 2008 "")}
] );
I want to create a line chart with orangeSales, appleSales and bananaSales as three different lines on the graph for different specified dates.
< mx:ColumnChart showDataTips = "true" >
< mx:horizontalAxis >
< mx:CategoryAxis
dataProvider = "{orangeSales}".
categoryField = 'months '.
/ >
< / mx:horizontalAxis >
< mx:series >

< mx:LineSeries displayName = "BananaSales" yField = "sale" xField = "month" dataProvider = "{bananaSales}" / >
< / mx:series >
< / mx:ColumnChart >
Help, please!
Sorry for the confusion. In fact I do something wrong, such as using ColumnChart to display a line chart or something like that.
Now, I realized that a multi series line graph can be built by the presence of a different data provider for each of the LineSeries object.
If the code below would create a multi series line graph:
[Bindable] private var orangeSales: ArrayCollection = collection
new ArrayCollection collection)

{sale: 475000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 425000, month: new Date (April 1, 2008 "")}
] );
[Bindable] private var appleSales: ArrayCollection = collection
new ArrayCollection collection)
[{Sales: 991000, month: new Date (January 1, 2008 "")},]
{sale: 140000, month: new Date (February 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 565000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 255000, month: new Date (April 1, 2008 "")}
] );
[Bindable] private var bananaSales: ArrayCollection = collection
new ArrayCollection collection)
[{sale: 891000, month: new Date (January 1, 2008 "")},]
{sale: 147560, month: new Date (February 1, 2008 ')},
{sale: 295000, month: new Date (March 1, 2008 ')},

TB 31.5.0 Win 7 after the TAB key for the automatic update no longer creates new address line "write" (enter the done key) but I want the TAB key! Why is - this seems to happen after each automatic update? Cant we get 'option' to use the TAB key to navigate through the lines of address "write"?
TAB through the fields that exist. It is the function of the TAB.
Otherwise you could never use TAB to go out in a field for example: subject. It would create an indefinate number of fields and are unable to function as a TAB key.
TAB does not back to THE fields,
New crests to THE fields or donkey typing/selection enter/return address, you can use the selection of mouse click. -
How to update af:listView after you have created a new line
Hello
Jdev Version: 12.1.3
I have a page which I use to keep customers in a table.
I have a dispatcher Panel in my page. I show the name of Custome in a listview in the left side. This view of the list has the defined properties below.
selection = single
selectionListener = #{bindings. IbisCustomersView1.treeModel.makeCurrent}
Once that one line is selected the corresponding data will be displayed in the right side in a layout of the form. ListView both the formlayout is based on the same EO based VO.
I added a CreateInsert Button and when the button is pressed, formlayout section gets blank lines, and I can enter the values for the new customer then click Validate. Everything works fine and the data is saved to the database.
I have 2 questions:
1. the list on the left side is not getting updated.
2. I need this list to be refreshed and also show the line newly created under the selected line. (because the right hand side formlayout shows that data only)
I tried the below steps, but no luck.
1. set the property partialTrigger of the listView button validate.
2. partial property to false for the validation button.
What should I do to get the updated list once a new line is created in the database.
See you soon
AJ
You need to refresh the parent of the element selectOneChoice component.
Add the lov component inside and pgl and refreshment on the button click.

Hi guys
I use jdev 12.1.2.
I have a question about stale view object and entity data object. My use case is: I have an af:table bound to data that I use to insert a new row in the database. I create the line with a call from createWithParams, and everything works fine with it. I call commit on the application module that contains the view object, and the data is correctly inserted in the database table. Then, as part of my needs, I call vo.executeQuery () on the view object, however the newly inserted row is not present in the af: table or view object. The line does not appear until I leave my application and return to it. Once I do this, the line is in the object view and appears correctly in the table.
It is not enough that I need the view object to be aware of the new line (s) without having to restart the application. Y at - it a setting I am missing in my display object? I guess my entity object contains stale data, but I don't know how to refresh its data. Thanks for reading.
Lance

Why photoshop create new shape layer whenever I draw a line?
Hi guys
I try to draw a bunch of lines, but Im having a problem. I start with a blank page, then I create a new layer. There are, I have the line tool and draw a line under this layer. That layer because that immediately a layer of "shape". Then I draw another line, and rather than stay on the layer, it makes a new layer of 'shape' and mask the previous layer. This continues and and for each line, it makes a new layer and previous mask. Why he continue to create new layers? I want that all the lines stay on the same layer.
Thanks for your help
Alex
As c.p you said "almost." Choose 'Combine shapes' in this dialog box, Options bar.
