VI Analyzer Questions: Change the default test configuration and screw "Pavilion".
I have two things I continue to come through in VI Analyzer:
1. are there in any case to set the default VI Analyzer so that it applies to all projects, I'm working on that?
I tried to create a task in project A, registration of the configuration and any attempt to open this file in project B, but it says that the file could not be loaded. The reason for my question is that there are a few default options that just add errors that we don't care (e.g. Controls dialog on the façade - 99% of the LabVIEW code that we are working on is called from TestStand as code modules, so the front panel doesn't really count)
2. can I score / report some screws as 'safe' for parser tests?
Basically, some screws may fail some perfectly safe way VI Analyzer tests (e.g. non-stanard errors on a 'closing' VI, who doesn't have a case error structure so that the device always gets closed). I wish I had a way to mark the VI kind VI Analyzer would ignore this particular test. This would allow me to have a rule that says something like "before any construction, run the file configuration VI analyzer and make sure there is not error", as opposed to "run VI Analyzer and examine errors, decide whether or not they are important for the VI in question..." ». An extension to this question would be how do I perform a task VI Analyzer before building when the VI Analyzer screw do not accept files cfg for project based tasks.
Any help would be greately appreciated!
Thank you
Shaun
1. a project oriented .cfg file cannot be transferred between projects. Could you possibly create a .cfg unrelated to the project file (under the option 'Start a new task' on the first page of the VI Analyzer) and use it? He would have no file in the list, but it would have all of the configured tests as you want. And you could start with this on your different projects .cfg file... you would just add screws based on file (on page 2 of the VI Analyzer), rather than have all come to you in a .cfg project-based.
2. on page 4 VI Analyzer, you can exclude certain tests to run on some screws and save these settings in a .cfg. This option is also exposed in the VI Analyzer API with VIAn exclude the VI.vi Tests.

Hello
I'm installing Oracle Database 11 g 2 (11.2.0.4) on Oracle Linux 7.1.
In short, what I'm trying to do now is changing the default port of 1521 to 1525.
So I stopped the listener (lsnrctl stop) and then changed my listener.ora and tnsnames.ora:
Listener.ora
listener.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/listener.ora
# Generated by Oracle configuration tools.
LISTENER =
(DESCRIPTION_LIST =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1521))
)
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1525))(HOST = localhost))
)
)
ADR_BASE_LISTENER = / u01/app/oracle
tnsnames.ora
tnsnames.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
# Generated by Oracle configuration tools.
BI =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1525))(HOST = localhost))
)
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = bi)
)
)
And then changed the local_listener:
SQL > ALTER SYSTEM SET LOCAL_LISTENER = "(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=localhost) (PORT = 1525))";
SQL > ALTER the REGISTRY SYSTEM;
Finally, I started the listener (lsnrctl start) again.
Then I tried to connect using Oracle SQL Developer to the customer. The port of 1525 works perfectly well.
The problem is, when I open the OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), it says: "the database is down. Please specify the credentials of the host to access the restart and database diagnostic tools," which is like this: http://imgur.com/oKLPW65
So I logged on the account of the host, and it shows that the database instance, listener and the agent is all down like this: http://imgur.com/Bzr84bz
It seems that the port used by the OEM is always 1521.
What should I do? Can someone help me solve the problem?
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE:
After changing the emoms.properties & the targets.xml (thanks to Elisabeth), you will need to reconfigure dbconsole using emca.
So what I'm doing is decreasing the config:
$ emca - deconfig dbcontrol db-rest drop
and then create again:
$ emca - create config dbcontrol db-rest
Voila.
Best regards
Jerry Antonius

How to change the default listening port?
Hi all
11.2.0.4
RHEL 6.5
I managed to install Oracle Db 11.2.0.4 on RHEL 6.5
He created a default listener uses port 1521.
With the following entries in listener.ora.
listener.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/db_1/network/admin/listener.ora
# Generated by Oracle configuration tools.
LISTENER =

(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ip-10-0-0 - 216.ec2.internal)(PORT = 1521))
)
)
ADR_BASE_LISTENER = / u01/app/oracle
How can I change the port in 1522? Can I just he replace value of listener.ora?
Should I also change the value of KEY = EXTPROC1521 to KEY = EXTPROC1522?
I tried to change the port in 1522 in the listener.ora but when I start "lsnrctl status".

Hello
As said earlier after which the listening port, you must update the parameter local_listener database as below:
ALTER system set local_listener ='(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ip-10-0-0 - 216.ec2.internal)(PORT=1522))'
editing the system registry;
HTH,

I use 10g release 2 under oel 5.5 inside vmware
I want to create multiple listener to my database and aal of them to be registered dynamically
I had created two earphone using netmgr one is by default is not set by default to port 1522
Here is my listener.ora file
AUDITEUR1 =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1522))(HOST = pawii.oraexpert.com))
)
LISTENER =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = pawii.oraexpert.com) (PORT = 1521))
)
I want to record dynamically
I pulled lsnrctl start
and lsnrctl start (no default listening port) auditeur1
both the listener don't start but the default receiver support no no services
I had bu db start again its not supporting all services why?
and if I specify services database with the help of netmgr then the entry goes in listener.ora and make static recording which always show status unknown
so, how can I do dynamic registration?You must indicate your instance where are listeners. Run these two commands:
alter system set local_listener='(address_list=(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = pawii.oraexpert.com)(PORT = 1522))(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = pawii.oraexpert.com)(PORT = 1521)))'; alter system register;
and the registration will then be automatic.

How to find the values of the parameters of a default listener using LSNRCTL
Hello
I have a default listener with name as 'lsnr_abcd' in the default port.
I'm on 10.2.0.4 version database. If I want to know the parameter values (such as displaymode, dynamic_registration, etc.)
for a listener by default, should what command I use?
I know that for the default listener, we can do the following
(1) run lsnctl
(2) show dynamic_registration
What should I run if I want to get this detail to a listener of "lsnr_abcd".
Thank you
DelphineAfter setting your current listener to the default listener, not the same
lsnrctl > CURRENT_LISTENER SET lsnr_abcd
You can run additional commands without your name of the listener
lsnrctl > set DISPLAYMODE

Hello
I am getting below error when executing the activities of flashback. Currently we have backups, so when I tried the command flashback in RMAN my question solved.
But if I want to do the same thing using SQLPLUS what steps should I take?

Get the CGI env variables in a database procedure using the new listener to the APEX
I already posted this question in the earpiece of the Apex forum and still no response after a week. The original post is here:
So please forgive me for posting in this forum as well, but there is much more activity here.
I would like to know how I can get the CGI environment to the listener of the APEX. For example, if I want to write a procedure that inserts into a table, the client web request originating IP address, how do it?
I am familiar with the Oracle Http Server and mod_plsql, and I know how to call OWA_UTIL. GET_CGI_ENV to get this kind of information. How can I do this by using the earpiece of the APEX?
In particular, how to do that when you call a custom (not in a workspace Apex) procedure? When I try now, I get an error owa_util. The cgi env seems to be empty or not initiated (owa.num_cgi_vars is null or zero).
Specific settings:
I have a web server running the last JDK, Glassfish and 1.1.4 Apex listener. It connects to another server running the last database 11.2. Apex is installed and running, but I'm not really developing a traditional Apex application in a workspace. I use it mainly as you would use mod_plsql. In other words, I have packages of pl/sql custom which are called directly via a URL. Applications must be sent by the listener to the database and DB executes the procedure and returns output using htp.p to send the text to the browser. And it works very well for this purpose. But if I want to call GET_CGI_ENV to get information such as IP address, the browser making the request, etc. I can't get with the OWA packages.
Anyone can shed some light on this? If the listener of the Apex is not designed to do this, is it some kind of workaround that I can use to transfer such information to the database for each request?Hi Adam,.
APEX is located on the top of the Toolbox for OWA. There is no appeal of the special procedure to be implemented.
Kind regards

OAS 10 g metadata repository creation Assistant &; database version question
Hello
I have to install Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.2 on a server that already has a database of Oracle 11 g running on it and I don't want to install a different database because of the load factor. I don't know if I could use this database
(version 11g) for the metadata repository. I know that we can use an existing database for the repository of metadata using the metadata Wizard, but I'm a little worried about the version of the 11 g database as the application server and the creation of metadata assistant, both are 10.1.2.x.
Your help is very appreciated.
See you soon,.
OmerOPNRRM 10.1.2.0.2 cannot be used to install a deposit in an 11g database. If you want to use OPNRRM with a 11g database 10.1.2.0.2, you will need to install a database 10g first, create the metadata repository and then upgrade the database to 11g. Not applicable in your environment as you already have an 11g database.
Kind regards

Level application/database source nodes are you referring? If so, you can go ahead and run AutoConfig on the application tier.

Creation of database without executing the script catproc.sql and catalog.sql
Hello
I created the database of towing without running catalog.sql and catproc.sql. Someone knows what's the downside to not run them?
ARMYou can run them at any time, and Yes, you must be connected as sysdba. In fact, it's in the scripts generated dbca.

Error when loading of the APEX listener, appex_rl and appex_rt not found
Trying to load the earpiece of the APEX, but 'appex_rt is not configured and errors will be ignored ", also for appex_rl, now it is stuck on @48231ms.
Previous stages of the installation went well.
He started very well...
then got the errors, but he continued... (see SEVERUS)
final State, another error, now it is stuck

How do you use ADR/APEX listener? Autonomous/deployed on Java EE server?
Want to host RESTful web services on your instance APEX?
Looking at the error you found, it is because:
During the installation of the ADR, he asked three databases users? : APEX_PUBLIC_USER, APEX_LISTENER and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER.
Whose APEX_PUBLIC_USER is required for the operation of the Applications Oracle APEX. APEX_LISTENER (which corresponds to the configuration of apex_al) and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER (which corresponds to the apex_rt configuration) in ADR are required for the accommodation of RESTful services.
The problem, I think it's that you haven't configured the RESTful services before installing ADR where the APEX_LISTENER and the APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER does not exist and so the configuration of the ADR fails.
It is fine if you do not configure the RESTful services (just want to use Oracle APEX), but when the ADR facility you should ignore configuration APEX_LISTENER and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER accounts.
Moreover, I think that you use EA(Early Adopter) version of ADR version 3.0 of knowing, but I think you should go for the stable version of ADR version 2.0.10 Viz.
The ADR 3.0 configuration is more advanced (complex bit) than the 2.0 because it contains information about 5 database users (i.e., APEX_PUBLIC_USER, APEX_LISTENER, APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER, ORDS_METADATA and ORDS_PUBLIC_USER).
Finally, I think you want the instance Oracle APEX for purposes of personal training, using Gateway (EPG) of embedded PL/SQL would be sufficient now as suggested by fac586 here: Re: getting started with APEX after download
Suggestion: You should post data Services Oracle REMAINS related matters to the appropriate i.e. forum ADR, SODA & JSON in the database.

I hope this helps!

I have a server/database running Application Express 4.1.1 and a server/database active Application Express 4.2.0. Is it risky to try to upgrade them both to the latest version and start using the universal or complex theme? Is how easy it to do? Recommended?
The servers are windows 2008 r2. Don't know if it matters.
I'm not exactly an expert at the express request...

Please read the documentation of the requirement for Oracle APEX 5. Ensure that your environment meets these requirements. Upgrade your oracle database or other software if necessary components and then you can go right 4.1/4.2 to 5.0 update according to the above-discussed upgrade strategies in the above discussions.
Reference: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E59726_01/install.50/e39144/pre_require.htm#HTMIG376
You should go for upgrade of the Oracle APEX of 4.1 to 5.x. Regression test your applications to remove if any errors introduced by upgrade. The kickoff of a new project to migrate your applications to universal theme.

Hello Tech community.
Is required for high availability and the DRS Vmware-AAM service? Has it been renamed with ESX3.5 U3?
On one of our ESX 3.5 U3 infrastructure, VMware Ha and DRS work very well, and the following list of services are started, view VMware-AAM
Here is an exit of an ESX 3.5 U3 system
service - status-all | grep running
crond (pid 1900) is running...
gpm (pid 1851) is running...
VMware-pass (pid 1942) is running...
ntpd (pid 1842) is running...
cimserver (pid 2452) is running...
snmpd (pid 1557) is running...
sshd (pid 4074 4037 1566) is running...
syslogd (pid 1321) is running...
klogd (pid 1325) is running...
At least a virtual machine is still running.
VMware VMkernel authorization daemon is running (pid 1911).
VMware-vpxa is running
webAccess (pid 1880) is running...
openwsmand (pid 2534) is running...
xinetd (1827 pid) is running...
Now on our production VMware MCC cluster ESX 3.5 Update 2 we do not find "vmware-aam" this service but HA and DRS work very well, and the logs in/var/log/vmware/MAA indicate that everything is fine.

I did a few Google queries and couldn't find a definitive answer
The service of AAM is required for HA - it is not required for DTH
