Creation of drop to the bottom of the areas... how to create properly 'drop to the bottom of the window.

Hi all

I'm trying to create some fields drop-down list in a form that I'm working on. I know that you can choose to create these areas with the tool "combo box" or the "list box. I have a problem with is to find how to open in a larger window vertical list, when the user has clicked on the field. (As is the case with any drop in any software whatsoever). I would prefer this behavior Instead of the entire list appears in the small tiny field and the user hit the scroll bar tiny on the right side of the field to scroll through the items. I'm sure it can be done with Actions, using the "Mouse Down" trigger but I do not know how: (). Pls can you give me any advice? Thank you very much in advance for your help :)

Best regards

Christine

It would be better to get rid of the list box and set up a button and a text box. You can then use code like the following in the MouseUp event of a button on which the user would have to click to make a selection:

Mouse upwards to button script

Present the user with the list of questions

var s = app.popUpMenu ("item1", "item2", "item3", "item4", "item5", "item6", "item7", "item8", "9", "10" article).

Fill in the text field with the value of the selected user

If (s! = null) {}
s = getField("text1").value;
}

where "text1" is the name of a text field that you are using. Change this option to meet your needs. Set the read-only text field if you don't want the user to be able to edit the content.

Note that if the list becomes too large, you can configure the submenu items to break to the top of the list into sublists, if that would be appropriate.

    I am a new user of Indesign and creative Member Cloud.  I was using the fall of the window/Pages to the bottom of the window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEGs have been sufficiently high resolution of the printer.  I don't know how I did it, but somehow the window has changed so that now, there not alphabetical/digital/hi-res information.  It shows just the pages in a two pages in numerical order.  How to restore the window so that I'll be able to view the information I did previously.

    Hello

    Refresh (called "Reset" in older versions of Firefox) can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox as his default factory while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

    Note: When you use this feature, you will lose all the extensions, toolbar customizations, and certain preferences. See article Firefox Refresh - reset modules and parameters for more information.

    Refresh for Firefox:

    1. Open the troubleshooting information page using one of the following methods:

      • Click the menu button

        click Help

        and select troubleshooting information. Should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

      • If you are unable to access the Help menu, type Subject: support in your address bar to bring up the troubleshooting information page.
    2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says 'Refresh Firefox' ('reset Firefox' in older versions of Firefox). Click on it.
    3. Firefox closes. Once the update process is complete, Firefox will display a window with the imported information.
    4. Click Finish and reopen Firefox.

  • Why, when I hover over a hyperlink in a suspicious message, the url is no longer appears at the bottom left of the window of Thunderbird?

    If I think that a received email is not my Bank, a simple control has always been of the cursor on the 'Login' button to see what URL in Russia he wants to take me. However, the details of binding no longer appear at the bottom of the window of Thunderbird. How can I return this feature more useful please?

    This information is displayed on the status bar. Do this on if it isn't already.
    The Menu bar, select Tools-bar display-toolbars.

    If the status bar is already made there is an add on that caused the action to the top status bar. It is Ad Blocker Plus. Disable this add if installed and see if this function returns.

  • Something I did accidentally (I think) caused the tabs in the window at the bottom of the screen to move to a sidebar arrangement. How can I restore it?

    How can I reset these tabs to appear at the bottom of the screen? I noticed that when I develop the width of the sidebar, all my desktop icons get scrambled to different places and I have to manually put them back where they were.

    You should be able to drag the Windows taskbar to its position at the bottom of the screen.
    Better is to lock the taskbar via the context menu to avoid such accidental movement.

  • In Firefox the bottom window shows that the window is maximized.

    For some reason any, whenever Firefox is maximized, part of the browser window's display down at the bottom of the screen. I don't know why it does this. I tried to disable the Restorer Classic theme and it does not go far, I tried to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox and it has yet to go away. I use a laptop computer with a touch screen built in and I noticed that whenever I scroll upward along a page using the touchscreen, it starts glitching where the window will try repeatedly to shake down and find. I think it has something to do with why continues to display the lower part. Other that that, there isn't any other problem with him.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • I love Personas, but I can't figure out how to display the part of the image that can be displayed at the bottom of the window; How can I activate this part?

    Beautiful image shows the upper part of the window, where the toolbars. But the part that can be displayed at the bottom of the screen (above the taskbar (I think it's called?)) does not appear and I can't remember/find a way to work in so that it is displayed too.

    "Personas" are basically dead. The name was changed to 'Lightweight thèmes' and the Mozilla seems to have lost all interest in this feature. IMO, it is corporate ADHD - build, promote, many users ignore the hook on the feature, of it do not continue to "show the love" and in two or three years 'kick on the sidewalk.

    Basically, the add-on bar went in Fx29 - so there is no image at the bottom. There is an extension that restore the bar of the add-on, and it seems that it supports Personas - based on the screenshots on the page to download add-on.

  • How can I move the toolbar of bookmarks to the bottom of the window in FF29?

    Before v29, I used to have the toolbar of bookmarks at the bottom of the window, with a lot of addons, like Firebug, AdBlock, etc..

    Since the upgrade, I can't move an any of them to the bottom of the window.

    Why what happened? Can I change?

    While this does help not to go down the bookmarks toolbar, you can use the addon "Addon Bar (restored)" to get a customizable space downstairs.

  • I have a message at the bottom of the window saying Firefox seems slow to start with a few buttons to push. This reminds me of PHishing, is it? If so, how get rid of?

  • Whenever I start a new firefox session, the theme is blank on the bottom edge of the window, so that it has a white background behind the toolbar, it

    Well enough that I simply titled, I have a tool bar at the bottom of my window, and every time I load a new theme, it shows behind the toolbar as it normally should. However, every time I close the program and start a new session, the theme on the upper part is OK, but on the background, the theme is empty, it is impossible to read the text in the toolbar, denying completely the reason for having the theme. Load a new theme or reload the current temporarily fix it, but it comes when necessary. This translates into each theme, which I've had for since a few months, animated and static alike. How can I fix?

    Is it to use a light theme (Persona) in the style of the user interface with a background image?

    Using an extension that covers such a theme?

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

    If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

    Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

  • The fall of bookmarks to the bottom of the window menu is far too broad. How do I reduce it?

    I have bookmarks into folders. The main bookmarks drop is very broad. You should only change long titles in the main folder of the bookmarks Menu.
