  We currently have a number of users who are allowed to and running Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on Mac. As you know, one of the applications that is included as part of this suite is Photoshop CS6. I am told by our designers, that there are some Photoshop CS6 version-specific changes that simply do not work for them and they need to run Photoshop CS5. My question is Adobe allow the decommissioning of only a single application, Photoshop CS5 version if the rest of the suite is CS6? I guess we wouldn't need to buy a license of Photoshop in this scenario, but I know that Adobe can be funny with their licensing rules.

  I talked to our representative of Adobe license and discovered that Adobe allows only the decommissioning of all the creative range, not just a single application, it contains, such as Photoshop. The only way to run Creative Suite 6.0 and Photoshop 5.0 would be to buy a separate license of Photoshop in addition to the Creative Suite license we already have. Just an info in case any who was interested in the answer.

  In College, we were roped into buying MacBook for our courses. We were given to Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and I remember very well the computer scientist tells us that she had the ability to operate on an Apple product and a Windows product. Now that I don't have my Macbook and I use a new laptop Windows 8 with no location for a drive, how do you install the creative suite? Has been the it guy just pulling my chain? I'd love to not have not not just unused software.

  Normally when you bought a Creative Suite license is good for one platform or the other, but not both.  Although you may have had some special license for school agreement.

  I am a federal employee and in 2013, my organization purchased Creative Suite: Master Collection (CS6), now the US Army requires that all software that will potentially be installed on a US Army Government computer must have a certificate of airworthiness net (CON). In 2014, has expired the CON for our software (CS6). Is it possible to transfer licenses to CS6 master collection to Creative Enterprise Cloud? or do I have to buy Creative Cloud?

  You will need to contact Support Adobe directly for definitive information about what you can do with your licenses.  My best guess would be that you need to acquire creative cloud - CS6 software subscription may be acquired through it, but I don't know what this has wrt the CON.

  a trojan virus has forced us to get 2 of our computers. One with Creative Suite 3 and the other with Photoshop CS3.

  We forgot to disable the licenses for these software packages.

  step 1 to install the software on computers is no problem. Activate us the licenses and restart the computer. After reboot, we have no connection to the internet and a yellow triangle in the task bar symbol. So we uninstall the Adobe and the internet connection is working again.

  I think that this problem is caused by the licenses, because we forgot to turn it off before resetting. I hope someone can help us solve this problem!
