  I've erased the initial installation of Windows XP on my Thinkpad X60s and replaced it with Ubuntu just now.

  To do this, I installed GRUB before installing Ubuntu Linux.

  I must have screwed up of installation in the past, but ever since Ubuntu perfect.

  However, now I want to return to my original installation of Windows XP from the ThinkVantage option.

  But - when I try to do, GRUB appears before the MBR and generates an error and won't let me go further ahead. I tried to reinstall with an external CD, but this does not work as well.

  Can someone help me with this problem? I need the MBR to appear before GRUB and continue my installation of XP.

  I can't send the details of my menu.lst if that helps.

  Also, on a different note, Lenovo will cover my warranty (3 years extended) if I have another OS installed?

• IOM unexpected behavior for the commissioning and of reconciliation

  We really need your experienced guidance to understand what is happening with the IOM.
  
  We have activated the account reuse in IOM 9.1.0.1. We use peopleSoft employee reconciliation with flat file as a source of confidence. If the same user exists in the file, IOM created 2 active accounts. When we have activated recon sequence, this problem has been resolved that the second instance will update the first. Does anyone know why IOM creates 2 accounts?
  
  
  After that, we had another question, if reconciliation has failed for a user will never be treated IMO any event of reconciliation future for that user until we have manually reapply the rules. No explanation?
  
  After that we apply the rule and the account is created, AD and Exchange provisioning fail!
  
  If we try again manually create user, AD is created while Exchange remains in a pending state.
  
  How should we deal with these problematic accounts? They are causing many arguments with the customer.

  There is a api to close the event. I used the following code to get all the events in the State 'Event received' for a certain date and automatically closes the event:

  According to Bruce, you will need to search for *.dbx to locate the directory of dbx files.  Make sure that you have configured to display the hidden files and folders and do not hide the extensions of the types of files known as control panel | Folder options | View.  Also when research conduct an advanced search and include files and folders hidden in the advanced search parameters.  The address book is a wab, so also the search for *.wab file.  When find you them, then use the file | Import | Messages and files. Import | Address book to get back them.  See also www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4 and www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background information.

  If you have formatted the drive when you did reinstall it, then the old files have disappeared.  My DBXpress program has a record feature which can recover some of the lost messages (see www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/).

  To the properties of your account, you need to collate Windstream or check their Web site for the correct settings.

  I have a TestStand sequence that uses units/tests written in LabVIEW. The sequence is extermnally began with a stand alone LabVIEW program. I need to establish simple exchanges of information between units of the sequence LabVIEW and LabVIEW external code.

  Information are simple strings will eventually be sent in both directions.

  Please advice what commumnication path needs to be implemented.

  EDIT: Btw, you should use TestStand user to nicks track management. This gives you more options and security than some custom stuff implemented in the user interface.

• Returning to the question before the amendments update

  I rebooted and installed the updates on my computer this morning.  After completing the installation of the updates, I received a message that says updates have been misconfigured and that he was back to before the changes and do not turn off my computer.  He had run this message for more than half an hour, how much I had to leave the machine.

  What does that mean?  What should I do to fix?  How can I get back on my computer?  When I left, I was unable to get out of this error message and a password to connect.

  What you see is simply a limitation of what can make the current application.

  When Adobe added the feature of pre-test, it don't was NOT set up to do exactly what you are wanting.  It is not get included in the Quiz review mode.  There is nothing you can really do about it.

  My suggestion would be getting your first questions included in review Quiz (because they are all part of the same quiz) but as I have already said a few times, Captivate only sees a quiz.

  If you don't like the way it works, feel free to record an enhancement request and wait a few versions.  You can get lucky.

  Create a black video clip by clicking on the button new item in the upper right corner of the project media Panel. Once you have created this clip, you can drag in your timeline, before the title, and chronology waving aside for you must allow to insert it.

  In production, this request has several joins and takes a long time to deal with... the main culprit for me is the join on the COMM table to count the number of number of transactions sent. Please can you give me tips to optimize this query to get results faster? What I need to delete the Group and use the partition or something else. Help, please!

  Sorry, 33 of Firefox is incompatible with some older graphics card/chipset drivers. The workaround is to disable hardware acceleration (you can do it now before the upgrade) and the long term solution is to update your graphics card/chipset drivers.

• Whence the "reloading" and buttons "stop" lights up in FF 4.0 SuSE Linux 11.4?

  I'm sick of re-engineering random crap every time I update... How can I get "charge it" / "Refresh" button and the "stop" button back in FF 4.0? I am running SuSE 11.4 32bits. I am not no newbie, but I'm tired to do a kabuki dog dance each new version just came back to where I was before the 'new and improved... '. "Sorry for the flame but it gets old.

  A combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar is used in Firefox 4.
  
  During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
  
  If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
  
  You can middle - click this button Reload to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.

  If you want to move the buttons Stop and recharge in the position to the left of the address bar, you can use the following steps:

  • Open the window "view > toolbars > customize" to move the Stop button and reload the address bar.
  • Drag the buttons Reload and stop at their previous position to the left of the address bar.
  • Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
  • Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise to get two separate buttons.

  Press F10 to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.
