• CRIO save in memory

  Hello. I am new to Labview and CRIO. I asked were I want to record 24 channels of data at 50K samples/s for 2-3 seconds. I am able to follow this example.  http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/5919

  However, I didn't need to stream from the host PC, but rather pick them up on the CRIO drive.  I've read it seems that the limitation of the drive is about 1.5 to 2MB per second.  In my example, it would be about 5 MB/s (50 K * 24channels * 4 bytes).   So I created a VI that, instead of streaming, just written in a very wide range.  This is sounds plausible?  When I pick up enough samples, I'll then write to the disk. But it seems that even a 500K array seems to make 100% of the CPU usage.  I'd like to use streaming, however, I have will increase to 48 channels shortly.  It says the cRIO has 128MB DRAM, I guess that's where the table would be created?  Any help is appreciated.  I can attach my code if necessary, but would just have a few tips.  Thank you.

I must say that this is the example simpler, more organized I met.  The project worked perfectly.  I must just add my e/s.  Program streams, it is thin, and everything has an end.  I think that me trying to do something that it was not designed to do this example continuous causing me me a lot of grief.  I seem to have all the pieces of the puzzle, but they could not meet.  This project is a good example of fantastic programming.  Thank you very much.

• SAVE DESKTOP THEMES (BACKGROUND) AND SCREEN SAVER QUESTION!

  My machine (Dell Desk Top computer) came with everything that I bought with it and I don't have the disc of recovery as well, so, I was just wondering if you can please tell me if there is a way I can save the screen savers and the desktop themes (sets) that accompanies as some of them , or just for nice in the trash when I use the recovery disc (not the one that came with it that I purchased separately from Dell), because they will be gone forever when I do. I don't want to lose them, after that I'm doing the recovery. I would go to the workstation, click on (c :)) local folders on disk, Program Files or WINDOWS to locate their and if so how or is there an easier way to do this and if so, how?) Thank you!

  OK, first of all visit C:\WINDOWS\Resources you will see a Themes folder, you should be able to right click on this folder, select copy and paste it on your desktop. It's your saved themes.

  Alternatively, you can try to find your screensavers by name in the search box. Screensavers in Windows normally have *.scr for if you find everything with different extensions these back up. Some screensavers have .exe extension, but this is a very common extension in Windows so you find your screensavers in between it will be hard. SceenSavers may extend installation directories, but normally you can right click and click 'Install' on screensavers to reinstall on a new operating system.

  When you find all your .bmp / .jpg Yes circles, you can just click on them and copy and paste them.

  Just take note where you have saved, so you can re-install on a reinstall.

  A few days ago, I bought Batman Arkham City GOTY edition on PC with DVD. Since then, I have tried all possible ways to get the Games for Windows Live out without success! Can someone give all the steps to make it work? I have 64-bit Windows 8.

  I tried to install windows for windows compatibility mode 7 with run as administrator on. Uninstall the Games for Windows Live and install the new update with compatibility mode on. Copy the files of the system in System 32 and also binaries/Win32 64 folder in folder of Batman. I tried Physx on and outside. Initially, I had problems installing the game and had to install the game under C:\Batman, so there is no spaces.

  Any suggestions? Should not be this hard

  The game has only a community support forum because it seems that nobody is willing to take ownership of this issue! As the game was released before Windows 8, I am seeking help from Microsoft as it is your program that fails. The game works well but I can not save, because it appears to connect

  Supposedly, the game of Microsoft Flight has the last G4WL update to this topic. This forum has a link to the installer without the game. I uninstalled my G4WL, then made sure the news was in compatibility with windows 7 and run as admin.

  To install it. And it worked!

  I'm on 64-bit Windows 8 and I DIDN'T have to move the system files 64 in the system 32 folder.

• Yet another differential save Question...

  Hello.. I try to get incremental save working in a way that can be placed in an ACTION.

  Basically, I'm scanning a large number of small objects (more than 3000 people), and I can hold 18 of the scanner at a time. If I use the script to 'Straiten and culture' the file scanned gets gene and nicely cropped.

  I made an Action that loads the scans from a folder and runs the straiten and reframe the script, then dose a few changes to the cropped image, registers and then it closes. This 'edit/save/close' repeats until all the images are processed in the original.

  The problem is that no matter what I do save file in the batch is always the same, or askes over Scripture. What I would like is a very simple script that records a number of increment on each backup file. There are a lot of discussions on this, but the only one that I could make it work had this script in it...

  It seams to work properly... but there are problems and I'm just a simple paint, scan handle type guy and no idea how to improve it...

  (1) - it records only in "c:\test". I tried to paste other paths in there... like "d:\projects\project name\scans\processed\" but it does not help.

  (2) - Straiten and Crop thin Script called from an action works. If I can do a single action to process the file. The above script works fine in action as well as the actions of edition. The problem is if I call editing / record the action of the action ' open/straiten and cultures', then the script is not error but I can't find the files, it is supposed to do (probably got 1 jpgs billion lost on my drive somewhere now)

  Also, it will save "img_003.jpg" If this file does not exist. For example:

• Auto Flash CS5.5 save questions

  Well, I had this annoying problem with flash. Flash automatically save my project every 10 minutes, but I would rather have flash save every thirty minutes. This can be very aggravating, because, when every I go back to using the flash is to save. When I'm on a pace of work on a flash project interrupts me automatic backup.

  AutoSave is great in that it saved me having to redo work, but I'd rather save when I'm ready.

  I tried to change the setting for automatic recovery to a different amount of time. FlashPreferences > General > auto salvage

  It does not work. Flash will continue to record every 10 minutes.

  Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

  Hi Pat,

  AutoSave and AutoRecover are two different options. If you need to set off or automatic backup synchronization options, please follow the steps below:

  (1) in Document PI under the Properties section click i.e keyframe editing the document properties button and turn on / OFF Auto - Save option.

  (2) create a new Document has a dialog box option to set the auto-save OFF & ON and you can adjust the lighting as well.

• Can load is more correctly the Web sites?

  I recently signed up with Outlook.com and Skype accounts. Since I could not reach load Web sites correctly, even if Outlook.com is charging correctly. When I go to the homepage of Microsoft or any page below, the pages are rendered in the text (such as a webpage since the 1990s) and there is no graphics. All this made it difficult to upgrade my Office 2010 with Office 365, if I managed to do it with persistence.   Have you tried to access the site from Microsoft while your in Safe Mode? If this isn't the case, we invite you to do so. If the Microsoft Web site gently while in means of Mode without failure there is an add-on in your browser that is causing the problem. To access safe mode, keep tapping F8 key before the Windows logo appears.

  To manage Internet Explorer 11 Add-ons, click this link. After the management of it, reboot your PC and try to access the Microsoft Website again.

  Note: Manage your modules in Mode without failure.

• NC6230 overheats and stops quickly

  If anyone can help please if I don't spend any more money on it. LOL I have a NC6230 which overheats and stops after half a minute of the kind.  I went on EBAY and bought two other boards and I have the same problem.  Thinking that I couldn't have 2 boards bad save question I bought a curcuit Board.  Same question.  I tried another treatment well known with the same results.  I tried swapping memory without success.  All these tests were conducted with the hard disk without OS power supply.  I then turned on it only to batteries and it remained running.  I have it turned off and restarted with an external keyboard to check the BIOS and it has overheated and turned off in 30 seconds.  No idea what else to try.  Is there a defect in the Board that gives too much power to the Commission, causing the closure?  Is this a defect of this Council over time?

  Hi all

  I have what I believe, it is a solution to this problem... even if I'm still skeptical.  I replaced the circuit boad and the processor with known good parts and still overheat.  I was ready to give up and throw the jury when I thought... Why not swap the work laptop heat sink.  I thought... Isn't it the radiator... It is electric and mechanical part.  But to have no doubt I swapped it out and VIOLA without overheating.  Then I thought it was a problem with too much thermal paste, so I cleaned the old and the right processor and reapplied thermal paste... with caution.  Overheated.

  I'm leaving the base or the only radiator would be defective and cause overheating?  All my tests point this way.

• Question put in basic network for the cRIO

  Hi all

  I am new to the use of controllers Labview and cRIO so please be understanding of what may be a silly question.

  I have a computer I want to be networked and four cRIO controllers. I have a router 4 ports and a switch 5 ports available to me. So far I have not been able to find a configuration that will work. Is there one, or do I me different equipment?

• Palm Pre calendar, screen saver and Conference questions

  I am a Palm Pre (Sprint) 1.4 and the Palm Pre Plus (verizon) 1.4 user.  I use the EAS option to connect to my company groupware system.  I have two problems, I need help:

  1. on the Sprint and Verizon, location of the grille section seems to offer very limited space.  Minimum Adequetly so that when I'm on the road and I am trying to get an address or con-calls, he doesn't seem to have enough space to support location data.  In addition, there seems to be no option to scroll left or right to see the data.

  2. on the phone from Verizon, when the screen saver comes in and the screen turns off, the only option is to press the power button on the top right of the phone.  However, when the phone is flipped open, it's a physical impossibility.  I then have to return the phone closed and then press the button.  It's a question on Sprint phones and through a software upgrade they have enabled the option to press the middle button a screen saver option Michael.  The same option on the Verizon phone is necessary.

  3. I don't know if it is a function or a lack of, of the CDMA network, but it would be nice to a conference call of the United Nations and switch between private calls.

  All-in-all, I'm very happy with my phones and think that WebOS is more operationally effective phone OS on the market.

  1st edition. Just, I typed a few characters in my location section and had more than 100 characters without running out of space. Never came to fruition. To access you type on a line of text, hold down the option key down, and move your finger to the up, down, left, right anywhere on the screen. It will be your cursor from that direction.

  2. I have sprint, so maybe verizon is different. But by pressing any key on the keyboard while his opening turns my screen turn it back on.

• Two questions - cannot save the printer shares with the error code 0x000006d9 and part of the Machine is not accessible from the network of working groups

  I think this are problems, but here is the separately questions, first of all - the basics:

  4 PC network using the working group with two Windows 7 (ultimate) and two xp.  Everything worked fine with the a previous vista / xp 3 network.  All except the Windows 7 Desktop behave well. The network is connected with a modem cable to a 5XT netscreen NS (firewall hardware to the outside and the inside hub), a netgear wireless access point and Windows workgroup use (as mentioned above).  Name all is correct on all machines, all the discovery settings are in place and each has Norton Internet security for its local protection services. Upgrades of Windows 7 have been computer vista laptop connected wireless and wired desktop previously running XP Professional sp3.  XP conversion was assisted on the desktop of the wizard upgrade Laplink PC Mover.  Applications executed in appearance on the two level computers.

  On the desktop - I can't share printers. When I use "networks and printers" in the start menu to share on a printer I get code 0x000006d9 error saying something like the configuration cannot be saved.  All local jobs printing works well.

  On the desktop - the name of the computer records also of all as on the network (it is discovered and mapped by each PC) but when I try to access it from any other machine I get a general error says something like "check your spelling of the name mannequin." This desktop computer Win 7 can browse shared folders on the network of and write about everything.  Somewhat added data - this device can ping all others in the network sucessfully but none get a ping successfully into the offending machine either with ip address or computer name (times out waiting for a response or said the name is not found).  He himself can ping successfully.  It accesses the internet very high hand.

  Solutions have been attempted without a firewall (Firewall Norton Smart Internet - 2010), with the firewall and various changes to authorization.  A final discovery was that Windows Firewall will not allow because BFE is not able to start - error 5 - access denied (this was discovered by train to allow a possible solution because of some internet chatter that the Windows Firewall must be running to implement shared printers).  All other dependencies are running to get a break on why BFE is not (it turns on the Win 7 laptop as well as the firewall).  Authorizations have been verified in the registry for settings of firewall and BFE (ports, permits, etc.) have also been looked at with a very critical eye.  SFC has been run with no problem.  All ports for net drivers, Win 7 networking and other actions are open in the firewall.

  Then people - I did some internet research and I tried a lot of suggested solutions nothing doesn't.  My apologies in advance if a person provides a solution and I say "tried".  Any help is very appreciated

  You can mark this as resolved problem!
  The program involved, causing this error is firewall Windows, here is what you need to do to fix this...
  If like me you have disabled windows firewall, I use Security Suite of ZoneAlarm, you will need to re-enable the firewall to share the printer.

  If you have disabled or turned off the Windows Firewall. (and in my case this error was caused by exactly that)
  Step #1 - disable any other firewall can be installed. Stop to load at startup and restart your PC.

  Step #2 - go to the tools of Admin folder > Services > Windows Firewall > double click and is it set to manual or automatic and keep it.

  Step #3 - open Control Panel > system & security > Windows Firewall > enable or disable the Windows Firewall > (Enable) turn on the Windows Firewall > save
  Then go to Restore Defaults > click on restore default button > save
  (you only do this IF you have changed the settings of the firewall, but it is always a good idea and will ensure that there are no problems during the proceeding)

  Step #4 - click Control Panel Home > view devices & Printers > Select / click on your printer > screen printer properties > share > share this printer > OK

  Step #5 - go back to firewall Windows and the tower he walks back > save

  Step #6 - go back to Services > and the Manual value Windows Firewall (or turn it off if you want, I recommend the manual)

  Step #7 - reboot and re-enable your firewall preferred to start at startup > Reboot

  Step #8 - take a deep breath and sigh of relief! :)
