cropping of images

I have a few images that were shot in 4K of video on a computer screen I want to export at 1080 p.

1. How can I flush the extra pixels around the screen to put more emphasis on the screen?

2. can I I harvest as much as I need or do I need to crop based on a format of pixels? In Photoshop, I can use the crop tool and drag the crop but I like, but if I need to print to a specific size, I need to make sure that it's cropped according to the aspect ratio.

Thank you.

1. I always base the sequence settings on the parameters of my imported film. Is there an easy way to set up a new 1080 p sequence that also matches all my 4K images except the resolution settings?

Make a sequence that corresponds to your images. Click in this sequence to select. Go into the menu settings of sequence and change the size of the image and the size of preview image in your sequence to 1920 x 1080 (you may need to set the editing mode custom in the parameter control of sequence of these changes), and then click OK.

Now, right-click on the clip of 4K on this now put chronology in the day and the menu drop down choose set to the size of the image.

2. by 'The Photo Frame' do you mean move the entire video using the query option?

You can resize and position the image by using the control knobs. Since your source image is much wider than the sequence, you can change its size anywhere between 100% and 50% and still have full quality.

3. in general, there loss of quality by reducing the images to the size of the sequence? So after setting up a sequence of 1080 p, if the area I want is still too big and I just use scale to further reduce to fit to the sequence.

You can set the scale of the p element 2660 on a timeline 1080 p up to 100%, you will only see the center of the original on the timeline element, actually "zoom in" and no loss of quality.

4. What is anyway? As a general rule, if the film is shot with all those extra pixels at 4K and I need to slightly speed up the area I want to complete the sequence, which is a bad idea from a quality point of view?

See the answer above.

This will all make a lot more sense when try you it.

  • Excerpt from IMAQ (-1074396077), crop the Image

    Hello

I have a 12-bit (Vosskuhler) CCD camera. I use the vi IMAQ, to take the image of the camera CCD the IMAQ Snap.vi. Communication to the camera works very well...

I want to crop the image 'full', take a rectangular area in the interest of this image. For this, I use the Extract.vi IMAQ.

Problem: when I try to crop directly the image that is from the camera, the Extract.vi IMAQ generates an error (-1074396077). BUT when I first save the image on a local disk, reload again and try to cut back then, then it works properly! What can be the problem?

I have attached the vi that does not work...

Thanks a lot for your help

PS: I mean I have a solution with the save, close, and charging, but I don't like this!

    Cheers, Matthias

    Hello MJ77

You can see what image type a vi came out of the snap function and also the ability to load from a file attached.

I get the same error as you if image types are not the same.

  • Graphic resizing function has changed, now crops the image, why?

I must, without knowing it, changed some settings. So far whenever I bring you in graphic, such as a png or jpg, I can resize using the selection tool (arrow) and in a corner of the image I click, hold down the shift/command (Mac) and then shrink or enlarge the size proportionally. What has changed, it is now, the image does not like that, but rather the same manoeuvre crops the image in the direction where, as in using a mask function, the image doesn't change size but the border of it changes and part of the left image not visible. I guess that there is a setting that I don't know who is doing this, but so far have not been able to understand. Anyone know?

Any responses appreciated as very frustrating.

    Thank you

If you drag a rectangle and who knows, you might have to snap to grid turned on:

    Acrobat 11: View > show/hide > leaders & grills > Snap to Grid

    Acrobat 9: view > snap to grid (Ctrl + SHIFT + U)

  • I need to crop the image in TIFF format. What product I need to buy

I need to crop the image in TIFF format. What product I need to buy

Photoshop should be able to manage your TIFF file, possibly Photoshop Elements so that would cost less than culture.  You should get the trial version to make sure that instead of buying before you try.

You can also check if you already have something on your computer which can do.  On a PC, you should be able to click with the right button on the image and choose 'Open with' by which a program menu should appear with programs to open the file.  You can check if any of the people listed provide the truncation tool.

If you have other questions you should post in the Photoshop forum instead of here (http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop?view=discussions).  This forum is mainly for questions about downloading and installing the Adobe applications.

  • How to crop an image in Premiere Pro CS6?

In FCP, you can crop an image by going to wired and simply adjusting to crop the area of the image to display. I want to maintain 16:9 but simple make the clip "zoomed" in an area that I want to. It will be not too drastic of a culture. Premiere Pro has the ability to do this?

    TIA,

See if the scale of the motion effect setting does the trick for you.  Each video clip has the effect of movement applied by default, but all settings are set so that the source element remains unchanged until you explicitly change the settings.  Adobe called movement effect "intrinsic", in case you run across this term in the search.  The volume is an intrinsic effect of audio clips (or the audio portion of the audio/video elements).

  • How do I crop an image

Can u please suggest me how can I crop an image by photoshopping

Usually, you would open an image, select the crop tool in the tools Panel, and then draw a rectangle around the part of the image you want to keep.  Adjust the edges until you see, is just to the right and then click the check mark button or press ENTER.

  • Lightroom3 crop the image

How to crop a picture bigger than himself as in photoshop. I mean we can crop a larger image in photoshop and photoshop fills the outer parts with backgroundcolor. but inlightroom tool only allows to crop an image. is it possible to crop more in lightroom 3? If so, how?

The only thing you can do in LR is scale down your image on a gray canvas.

    The lens corrections / scale.

But it is of course very limited.

(Nice to play with anyway because you can also up to a culture to the scale or rotation on a canvas grey)

  • How to crop an image on a layer?

I use PSE 6 for Mac. I hung a picture on a canvas with three layers. When I crop the image using the crop tool or a selection > image≥crop, it crops the whole canvas, rather than just the image on the layer. Is this possible?

    BRITISH COLUMBIA,

The crop tool will affect all layers. Here's a way to do this:

    http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1R07yWUNgb2bbBFn2RnLcam45TCCZG0

    • I opened a new file, white background
    • Layer created 1 - blue
    • Created 2 - red layer
    • Rectangle tool used to select a portion of the layer 2 - see "mobile dash", then the layer > new > layer by copying.
    • The area around the red on the transparency of the layer 3 denote

In order to use the corner handles to enlarge, it is imperative that you have enough real estate to do this.

Go to Image > resize > size to enlarge the canvas in canvas.

In my opinion, it's a tortured this way. Image > resize > image size can be used for overall sizing. The dialog box to enter a value for the resolution. It is desirable, for printing, to have a resolution of 240 to 300 px / in.

  • How to crop an image that I pasted into an e-mail message?

I stuck a page in an email, is there a way for cultures within Thunderbird or what I need to do cela in another program, then copy it from this show and paste in my email.

cropping is done outside of Thunderbird, it is actually with all e-mail programs. Some offer editing tools that hide the parts of the image, but they does not easily crop. It can be a bit of a shock to find the picture you send contains really all the image of those in the know.

Simply open paint. Paste the image and use cut to cut the part of the image you want and paste that into the email.
