HP Envy m6-1178sa restoration incomplete

Model: HP ENVY m6-1178sa

Product number: C2C18EA

OS: Windows 8

I was faced with a problem with my installation of Windows and it seemed to be a problem with "KERNELBASE.dll. I was told that I should be reformatting my laptop so I have, using the recovery partition (I pressed F11 at startup and chose the minimized System Image recovery).

The recovery process seems to operate normally, but in the end that it connected me on one account labeled 'Administrator' and said that the restoration is incomplete. I opened the newspaper and everything was going well, apart from that:

[RegistryDevicesCheck]

Result = FAILURE

DEVICE FAILED #0:

Description: USB - IF xHCI USB Host Controller

PNPDeviceID: ROOT\UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000

Code                    :   [ 31 ]

And then he said he ran the PININST (Mini-FBI) going on, and then it displays a list of log files that were the result of "SUCCESS."

How to turn off the phone and restore it to its normal operating state?

Press and hold the power button until the laptop turns off.

Restart the laptop, press the F10 key to enter the BIOS. Change the year in the BIOS for 2012. Save & Exit. Try to begin again resumed by tapping the F11 key immediately after starting.

    Concerning

    Reni

Hi ReniV, welcome to the Forums of HP. If the USB - if xHCI USB host controller port has a driver problem which could not be repaired automatically, try first to restore the Chipset from Intel using this method: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8)

That corrects the error, test your Bluetooth again. If it doesn't work, restore your Bluetooth drivers using the same method.

Let me know how that turns out.

  • HP Envy M6-1178sa USB 3 detects no not disks

Have a HP envy M6-1178sa running Windows 8.

2 USB ports work fine and detect USB 2 and USB 3 devices devices. However the 3 USB port does not detect USB 2 or 3 USB devices.

Any suggestions please? I looked at the page drivers, but can't see anything that would help.

I finally found another thread that suggests to uninstall the drivers. Windows reinstalled them and the port now picks up devices.

  • HP envy x 2: restore HP Envy X 2 with USB

When I turn on / open my hp envy x 2 it brings me to the login screen. After I got the connection, the screen goes black and I can't do anything other than move the cursor. How can I reset with to be able to see the screen. ? I know you can use a USB key but how. ?

    Hello

You do not have to reinstall the OS - try the following.

First of all, make sure you anchor the tablet on the keyboard section.

Start the computer normally, and then sign in.

Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

Click on file and select the new task.

Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

When the system restore interface is loaded, choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the log - it occurs first and then proceed to the system restore.

If the above is not correct the problem, try to run the steps in the link below.

    I did exactly that.

Have you contacted HP at the URL I provided in my previous answer?

To fix what you've done for yourself, the less expensive is to contact HP and order a restore for your laptop USB.

  • System Restore: restore incomplete, your computer cannot be restored

When I run the system restore, it goes really fast.  Then when the computer is restarted, the said dialog box: incomplete restore your computer cannot be restored: regardless of the restore point I had chosen.  No changes have been made to your computer.  To choose a different restore, restsrt system restore point.

  • Restoration incomplete background in the foreground

    Hello

I use the method suggested here

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/auto-start-and-RuntimeStore-usage-for-UIAppl...

for transitionening of foreground to the background to the foreground. I noticed on os6 it worked very well. On os5 I often see that the restoration is incomplete! This means that some fields have become null! More specifically, I have 3 editFields (static), they just return null. Is - this unwritten rule that the user interface must be re-created each time and we shouldn't assume that the UI widgets would survive the transition all the time?

    Thanks for your comments.

I use Eclipse with jre 1.5 and 5.0 plugin.

I have found the problem. I was doing something dubious and the updating of the UI widgets without eventlock. Tests to see if this removes the problem. I also removed static - lying areas of the problem.

Still welcome any additional info, if someone has.

I wanted to restore my computer laptop back to factory settings. So I went into settings and navigated to the update and recovery, recovery and then clicked the option restore factory settings. I had several partitions then asked me if I wanted to delete all of my drive or to remove all the windows disk was installed on. I clicked on the remove all option. Everything was erased from my laptop, I think that the boot partition has been altered to. Now when I start my laptop 0xc00000000f error code occurs and he said: 'you will need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any facility (such as a disc or USB device) support, contact your administrator for PC or PC/manufacturer. »

Is there a way to fix this? My laptop still warranty HP on this subject.

A system image restore fixed my PC; I used recovery media to recreate the image on my PC.

It is mainly the right hinge but the left is showing signs of that also. could you please tell what you, or else I can do about it because it's obviously a design flaw that was never really given on.
