• Cropping of the video when played on television

  I noticed that when I edit 1920X1080i film that video is displayed in the monitor window, I can see the whole picture. But when I've made and play from a Blu - ray disc, I noticed that the image is cropped. Especially noticed at the top. Even if it's probably cropped on all sides.   I can't open the AVI / MOV files in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. Is there a chance to correct that (limited to the small part of the image) using Adobe first Elements 10 or Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?

  If so, you can easily hide the part of the image and use the levels effect to reduce glare.

  Because of the horizontal portion, you should probably use the cache 16 points. There are actually 9 points the mask 8 points will do the job as well. You can use a matte, but it will allow you to animate as easily if it is needed.

  I put the image on track 1 and track 2 copy. I applied the matte effect of garbage and the levels effect track two.

  

  

  If the camera was not on a tripod, you can animate the matte but it will take much longer.

  File > new > sequence, then:

  1. Choose a preset that matches or is less similar to your videos, or,
  2. Click the general tab, change the editing for "Desktop" Mode and set the parameters as you need for your videos

  Place a copy of the clip on a higher video track above the original. Place an effect of cropping on this clip to keep only the part you want to use. Then use Motion/scale/Position to create a PIP effect.

  Hi Srinivas38,

  Cannot set the height of VariableRow for each item in the tilelist control. You will have the same height and the same width for all items.

  You have variableRowHeight for TileList as property in a List control... but it does not work... Tilelist control simply ignores the property.

  So if you want to adjust your images and videos in a TileList without scroll bars, then you must set the height and width for each item that will has the same for all the TileList components.

  Set the verticalScrollPolicy and horizontalScrollPolicy OFF for the element (which can be a file itemRenderer, you may be using).

• Cropping of the multiple Images in single file

  I have to handle a load boards-contacts (hundreds) to separate the images digitized high-resolution. The problem with this task is that the images are laid out - and slightly turned - different every time, while I have to touch all the files. I created an action that offers me a predifined rectangle cropping (to move or rotate), this image (sub-) cultures, recorded in a directory and restores the file to its previous state, to select/harvest other subpicture. It's more or less what I need, except that the new created image is replaced every time again. Then, instead of the registration of 'subset001_01.tif', 'subset001_02.tif'... There is always only one file "subset001_01.tif".

  Any ideas how to accomplish this task? Or any suggestions how to get PS to save additional files with naming?

  You do not give your sphere clip an instance name, but one was automatically assigned:

  Above is not advisable, so open the source file for rotando6. Click your sphere clip, open the properties panel and type sphere_mc for the . So for your script, you would use:

• The videos show only the upper-left corner of the image during playback.

  There are a few things that could be the cause. Please can you try the following:

  • Check the Adobe Flash plugin is updated to the latest version
  • Open Firefox in Safe Mode and check if the problem repeats. If this isn't the case, then most likely an Add - it is at the origin of the problem.
  • Try turning off hardware acceleration - Options > advanced > General > uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available.
  • Try to disable "protected mode" in flash player or go back to the Flash 11.2 drive. See this thread for more details support: Flash video only showing a quarter...

  I hope this helps. If this isn't the case, then I would try a Firefox Reset. It will return its default settings Firefox but will keep your browsing history, bookmarks, etc..

• Problem reading video image from the camera IP Axis - confusion of variant data buffer.

  I am writing a VI for an Axis IP camera.  He went to work, but I need to extract individual video stream images so I can overlay text using the functions of text IMAQ overlay.

  The thing is when I take a picture using the axis dll library (GetCurrentFrame), it returns a buffer size and a Variant representing the raster data.  The data is = 921 640 bytes representing a 40 byte header, and then the 640 x 480 x 3 raster data.  When I run the vi, I get a correct value for the size of the buffer (921 640) so I know it works.

  What don't understand me, it's the video image is placed in a buffer of type variant.   I don't quite know how to extract the raster data of the data type of "buffer" which is a type variant.  My apologies, I'm a bit ignorant in how to handle the types of "Variant".

  Does anyone have a suggestion?

  Just to confirm, what IMAQdx version do you use?  You want to get the version 2010.3 since it is the latest version: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1641/lang/en

  The next issue would be that the Ethernet cameras discover is not necessary and that it is only used for GigE Vision cameras. The VI was named before IP camera support has been added and the name is unfortunately confusing now. In any case, the discovery of cameras takes place in the background and is automatic. The VI list must list your camera. It may be worth trying just to see if the camera appears in first MAX. Note that the IP camera must be installed on your local subnet, so it can be discovered.

  Regarding the examples, virtually none of the IMAQdx examples included in help-> find examples should work.
