Cross compiling Qt on windows?

Hello

I managed to install Qt and the NDK on linux (a virtual machine, in fact), and I have already created an application to work. Wiki said it is possible to crosscompile Qt for qnx in Windows (it's my main development plataform, and copy the project whenever I want to test in the playbook is a PITA ) but I can't do because the compiler says a lot of #define are missing and fix causes other errors. I tried with cygwin and mingw with no luck.

Any idea? Has anyone able to do? All documentation miss me?

Seems there is something that needs fixing on Windows. Here's a recent Twitter conversation with Eduardo Pelegrí response, the guy from open source to the RIM:

    Hi Leo,

Your customers have tested for their content with the Adobe Content Viewer in the Windows store? If they are satisfied with the feature and please contact me directly via a private message and I will provide information on how we can build viewers personalized for your customers to enter the store Windows. Unfortunately we do not have App Builder for this at the moment so this is sort of a manual process.

  • Impossible to compile the driver for windows in MDF

I'm trying to use the windows driver instead of the Adobe driver by selecting the windows default printer 'use' in the target presentation window and recompiling, but apparently return to the target presentation printer Agent.

I select the default windows printer and click ok:

    windowsPresentment.gif

If I open immediately the objectives of the presentation, he shows that he did not save my selection because it always shows the selected Adobe presentation.

    AdobePresentment.gif

Just in case it did, in fact, compile with the windows driver, I go ahead and compile to a new MDF and run jfmerge with the following command line:

    JFMerge mypo.mdf mypo.dat mypo.pcl - aiijfmerge.ini - zmypo.pcl - allmypo.log - auwpon - aspWindows

This is what appears in the log:

    2009-11-04 12:13:30 jfmerge: [125] * processing data file: 'mypo.dat. '
    2009-11-04 12:13:30 jfmerge: [289] 'mypo.mdf' MDF file opens.
2009-11-04 12:13:30 jfmerge: [247]'Windows' printer driver has not has been compiled in this MDF.
2009-11-04 12:13:30 jfmerge: [210] nothing has been printed.

Can someone do the light on how to get the Windows printer driver compiled in my mdf?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Phil

Windows drivers and Agent print drivers are mutually exclusive.  In the design tool, under objective presentation select "Use print agent presentment target" and then select "clear all".  Then go back and select the windows drivers.

    see you soon

  • Reports6i compilation on Windows and Unix

    Hi friends,

I am compiling reports6i on windows by opening the window of the browser online. But my confusion when I run and save the program report, I see that the RDF file extension. I just thought that the executable version is .rep, so I thought I'll see also this type of file. My question is usable program report without the .rep extension file?

My question is usable program report without the .rep extension file?

Yes, the RDF file should be enough.

  • The toolchain Setup error? Unable to compile...

    Hello!

I'm trying to set up the environment to Code C, but I run into problems when you try to compile one of the examples of projects. In general, I followed the instructions in in favor NOR myRIO 1.0 User Guide C.

I tried this for a while and I get the feeling that it is something very simple (but critical), so I want to ask for help from someone who has experience with the C coding environment.

I get the error message is simply:

17:42:06 * rebuild the Debug configuration for example - PWM myRIO project *.
Info: Internal generator is used to build
    ARM-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc - DMyRio_1900 "-IC:\\Users\\boewie\\workspace\\myRIO\\C Support for myRIO\\source OR ' - O0-g3-wall - c - fmessage-length = 0 o main.o '... \\main.c '.
ARM-none-linux-gnueabi-GCC: CreateProcess: no such file or directory

    17:42:06 completed Build (a 98ms)

Further, in the code editor, it says "pending inclusion: [...]" to

    #include
    #include

Is it possible that the C/C++ standard headers are not properly Setup? I have cygwin and MS Visual Studio is installed.

The cross-compiler can be invoked in the Windows command console, so I guess that the PATH variable is set correctly.

Do I need to install build tools C/C++ generic?

Is the path of the critical C API inside spaces?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Compile 32-bit programs on the cDAQ RT Linux

I have a (OR-9134) running Linux RT NI cDAQ

I am unable to get it compile 32-bit programs. The steps I've done were:

1 used "opkg" to install all the 'gcc', 'CPP', "gcc-symlinks", etc. - that I could see associated compilers.

    2 export CFLAGS = "-m32' export CXXFLAGS ="m32", export LDFLAGS = 'm32'"

    3 CFLAGS = "-m32". / configure

However only 64-bit binary are generated.

I'm unable to find through "opkg" all packages associated with 32-bit builds or anything related to 'multilib '. Could you get it someone please let me know how do NI Linux RT generate binary 32 bits?

Looks like you are saying that you need a 32-bit library to work with 32-bit LabVIEW. However, LabVIEW on your target cDAQ is 64-bit, as all software on our basic objectives of Linux RT Atom (the ARM-based targets are 32-bit). So, if you want your HDF5 library to run on the target of the cDAQ to 64-bit, you must use a 64-bit version of HDF5. This is true even if you connect/deployment to the target of a 32-bit version of LabVIEW.

Of course, if you want to run HDF5 on a 32-bit system, as a target of LabVIEW RT with ARM 32-bit processor, or LabVIEW RT older targets that use VxWorks or Phar Lap instead of Linux, or a 32-bit desktop machine running Windows or any other OS, you will need a 32-bit version of HDF5. But I would not recommend trying to build HDF5 for these environments of your cDAQ. I recommend compiling natively on the cDAQ, if you at all (*), for the code, you intend to run on the cDAQ.

(*) You should be aware of this already, but you can cross - compile your HDF5 library using Eclipse, i.e. http://www.ni.com/download/labview-real-time-module-2014/4846/en/ - some people prefer this to the compilation on the target, which is a little limited resources.

  • Is it possible to deploy a Windows LV on the MAC?

Does anyone know if it is possible to deploy a L.V. Windows on the MAC?  An option in the application builder?  A cross compiler?  Or... I think too.  The application of L.V. solves simply his library calls differently while on the MAC?

You must open the source code in LabVIEW for Mac. You can not run a windows exe and there is no option in the application builder to target a Mac or any other os.

  • How to create the shared library for linux real-time target in labVIEW Windows?

I use myRIO running linux in real time. In my project, I need to pack some C code, so I tried the node library function call.

I know that I should use the tools compile cross - compile linux on Eclipse to compile c code in linux .so library. But the problem is that call library function node does not recognize the .so file because my labVIEW runs on a Windows PC.

What should I do to fix and how to combine C code with labVIEW during programming for devices shipped as myRIO?

Basically, you must also create a Windows DLL that exports the same functions. These functions can be empty stubs if you do not want to run the code correctly on Windows, otherwise you will need to consider how to implement the equivalent functionality on the Windows API.

Then you can write in your node library call as the name of the library ". "*" and the name of the shared library Windows ".dll" while the Linux version is called "name of your library > .so". LabVIEW will replace the * after the comma in the name of library with everything that is the preferred extension shared library for the platform it is running on and therefore load the right shared library.

Alternatively you can wrap call all the nodes of the library in a structure that contains the node library in the case of Linux RT and all what you want to run on other platforms in the case of default or a case of specific platform, call the conditional compilation.

  • Need help for upgrading to Windows 7

    Original title: upgrade

When I bought my computer it is pre-loaded with the French of Vista Home Basic version.

I now want to upgrade to the new installation of Windows 7 (English) - will this facility simply on the Vista of origin and automatically be in English or will it still change the language? If this is the case, Windows 7 has the language options or will it once again an application?
Or he will recognize the existing language of the operating system and go French?
    Thank you
    Richard

You will need to do a custom installation. Windows 7 does not support cross-language upgrades.

Upgrade to Windows 7 from the following operating systems is not supported:

    ·      RTM of Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows Vista®, Windows Vista Starter, Windows 7 M3, Windows 7 beta, RC of Windows 7 or Windows 7 IDS

    ·      Windows NT® Server 4.0, Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server® 2003, Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2

How to make a custom installation:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

So I sent offshore to a friend of my uncle, who has replaced the drive with a 35 GB hard inside you. Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Please help me quickly

    Hey,.

    > use the original installation CD, but I have not a
Yes, because you have to create this disk yourself using preinstalled creator of media recovery Toshiba as mentioned in the user manual.
