  Yes, we haven't started supporting the D3100 to the 6.3 version of the camera raw plugin (Source: Camera Raw plugin |) Compatible cameras). This version of the camera raw plugin does not work with Photoshop Elements 8 (Source: applications camera Raw compatible Adobe). To ensure the native support of the D3100, you need Photoshop Elements 9 or later version (10 is the current version). The other option is to convert your raw NEF files to DNG (a universal raw format) using the DNG Converter: Mac| Windows.

  But after installing 5, improved to 5.7 (and rebooted) it will not even read these files RW2 - import told the RW2 format is not supported.

  According to the info About, I've got 5.7 Lightroom and Camera Raw 8.7, installed. However I download the setup of camera raw plugin 8.8 (link), copied in the directory of Lightroom and run it, but it is still saying Camera Raw 8.7 to the about screen and I can not access these files.

  The link you posted was details to indicate that your camera is not currently supported by any version of Lightroom. It is only currently supported by Camera Raw version 8.8 which is a plug-in cannot be used by Lightroom (and only Photoshop). Free Adobe's DNG Converter can be used to convert your files RW2 in DNG which is supported by any version of Lightroom. Download it here:

  I do not have the good plug in for photoshop CS4 so I can't open the CR2 raw files. I downloaded and installed 5.7 plug in for mac update, but it still does not work! I accidentally installed @ 5.4 for windows update before the 5.7. This could be the problem and if so, how do I fix?

  To make the camera, you need Camera Raw 7.3 or higher, so unless you want to upgrade Photoshop, you're only option is to use the DNG Converter.

  Anytime I go to a site that needs flash player Firefox blocks. I get warnings constant plugin does not respond and the only way out Firefox ends the task in the Task Manager.   "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC 2015\Support Files\Plug-ins\Trapcode.

  and my trapcode plugins where backward. The amazing thing is that I have installed the Plugin Trapcode after having updated to 2015.3 CC. The reason was probably that the Trapcode plugins trial version installed to AE CC 2015 and that the folder was still here the licensed version of Trapcode installed in the old folder.

  This link shows that 8.3 ACR supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.

  I use a 64 bit Windows Vista computer. I rebooted and still get the same problem. The elements of the software are always in the Photoshop plugins directory and I get Google Nik software windown open when you start Photoshop. This software was working before I did the upgrade.

  Perhaps, what is happening is that you have only the 32-bit version of the plug-ins.

  Check on the Web of NIK site for 64-bit versions.

  unless something has changed between the versions documented limits include:

  -support for the plugin (version 8.1) or later version PDF - with api to check the availability of DURATION if it is available on the machine

  -support for the version of the Flash plugin (without external dependencies)
