  The link you posted was details to indicate that your camera is not currently supported by any version of Lightroom. It is only currently supported by Camera Raw version 8.8 which is a plug-in cannot be used by Lightroom (and only Photoshop). Free Adobe's DNG Converter can be used to convert your files RW2 in DNG which is supported by any version of Lightroom. Download it here:

  Yes, we haven't started supporting the D3100 to the 6.3 version of the camera raw plugin (Source: Camera Raw plugin |) Compatible cameras). This version of the camera raw plugin does not work with Photoshop Elements 8 (Source: applications camera Raw compatible Adobe). To ensure the native support of the D3100, you need Photoshop Elements 9 or later version (10 is the current version).   I use a 64 bit Windows Vista computer. I rebooted and still get the same problem. The elements of the software are always in the Photoshop plugins directory and I get Google Nik software windown open when you start Photoshop. This software was working before I did the upgrade.

  Perhaps, what is happening is that you have only the 32-bit version of the plug-ins.

  Check on the Web of NIK site for 64-bit versions.

  unless something has changed between the versions documented limits include:

  -support for the plugin (version 8.1) or later version PDF - with api to check the availability of DURATION if it is available on the machine

  -support for the version of the Flash plugin (without external dependencies)
