CS3 Anchor tip Disapear

I use cs3 and when I try to make a path, anchor points disappear, as I create a path. When I click on the point of presents itself, then when I let go of it left. then when I do the next point the path appears, but when I called again the path is gone and the only remains of the race.

I think this could also be linked to the fact that when I select a path with the selection tool, encompassing appears but the way that this self is not - although if I manually rotate the path or change the scale of the path is visible.

I'm sure it's something simple I have inadvertently selected or deselected, but if you can help me I would much apreciate it very much.

Thank you!

Edit: I just remembered that I also have problems with the direct Selection tool: when I click on a point, the path is not displayed. I'm sure that it has the same fix as indicated above, but I thought I would mention it just in case.

There are two keyboard commands that are put out by chance a lot.

Command > SHIFT B hide the rectangle enclosing and H the command hide edges in your case, it's h. command

    Looks like you missed something.  Spacing with the shape bristle brush for Photoshop 7 and he was there in a slightly different way to Photoshop 3 or more.

  • How can I do Indesign CS3 default rather than Indesign CS4?

    InDesign 6.0.2 makes me crazy, this spinning ball turns for all characters of type I.  It takes 5 minutes to write a Word.  I want to use CS3 instead, which works very well with dynamic spelling, I have disabled in CS4, but don't want to dump CS4.  How can I make default CS3?  When I open CS3 and save it, it saves under CS4 so to open it, I can't click on it, I have to first open CS3.  Illustrator CS4 works very well.

    The only way to do a mac recognize CS3 as default would be to completely remove the CS4.

    In OSX new version prevails over the older versions. However, you can have two files of free fall apps you know on the CS3 cs3 anchor icon or an Alias on your desktop. CS3 does not save as CS4 it is just that the operating system makes all the files ID looks like the most recent version.

    Emil,

    This seems really odd. Just to check before postng #24, I created a similar unequal mixture and replaced the spine with a cut circle, and everything looked good.

    You can try to object > Add > Anchor tip several times and see if that makes the circle behave.

    I love the navigation Alt/Option: the letters make sense so that they are easy to remember. and they go well with the reproduction made in the same way.

I don't want to remove the embedded/inline object from the first layer. I want to just copy the size and position on a new layer.

    Hey!

    Try this: (this has been tested in CS5 and CS4, but it should work in CS3 as well)

    var myDoc = app.activeDocument;

    // use to process entire document
    var myItems = myDoc.allPageItems;

    // use to process just current page
    // var myItems = app.activeWindow.activePage.allPageItems;

    var foundObjects = Array();

    for(var i = 0; i < myItems.length; i++){
      if(myItems[i].parent instanceof Character){foundObjects.push(myItems[i]);}
    }

    if(foundObjects.length > 0){
      var myDestLayer = myDoc.layers.add({name:"Anchor/Inline Duplicates"});
      for(var i = 0; i < foundObjects.length; i++){
        var newDuplicate = foundObjects[i].duplicate(myDestLayer);
        newDuplicate.geometricBounds = foundObjects[i].geometricBounds;
        try{newDuplicate.graphics[0].geometricBounds = foundObjects[i].graphics[0].geometricBounds;}catch(_){}
      }
    }

    I hope that helps!

    The pen tool or brush tool?

    Brush tool: double-click the button tool brush itself in the toolbar.  Adjust the settings accordingly. (more precisely "keep selected")

    Pen tool: no chance.  Press the command key to toggle the last used selection tool, and then click a place to deselect.  Or press command-shift-a to deselect everything.

  • Disabled SR impossible to CS3-looking for Exchange Active Info

    I am a retired 63 year photographer (disability) who, because of disability, fighting against the 10 disease (rare 2 - no treatment or healing) and now are trying to survive on 10 K per year (on medicaid and $63 a month in food stamps), cannot afford to upgrade my old computer (2004 workstation Dell - Win XP Prof Sp3) - so I can't download any of the new Cloud creative programs. My computer does not meet the latest requirements of the system. I had to sell most all my possessions for tips and pay 59 doctors. All I have left is my library hardcover book (which no one wants to buy these days), my PC and my 14 year old car.

    I have Photoshop CS3 and LR version 1.41 installed so at least I can still use my favorite program. I used to visit the Adobe Exchange website for free brushes, styles, forms, etc., but now I don't know where or if I can still get those creative resources of my old version of PS. It seems that now Adobe offers only a page of exchange for users of CC. Is this correct? So am I (and millions others) totally left out of the loop now as a user of Photoshop simply because I can't afford to upgrade my software/gear? OR have I missed just the exchange for older PS version users page?

    Thank you for your help, Bettie Robertson

    Well, it seems that adobe Exchange did CS6 low-threshold. But then again, other than for activation problems, they won't support CS3 and using Windows XP, you get past Adobe Camera Raw/Dng Converter 8.3

    It is the same for the people of Mac OSX 10.6 is like Windows XP.

    But there are a lot of resources of good reputation for photographers. I would go to Luminous Landscape or DPReview to get advice on the best free resources for your version of Photoshop and windows.

  • Make custom arrowhead. Cannot use spacing customized to an anchored object that is "path"?

    Hello world

    I build a model to use for the preparation of the documents for the brand of the company. I'm trying to find an easy way to make custom arrows that we will use for the legends (see below).

    Screen Shot 2015-05-26 at 10.09.54 AM.png

    What I want to do is to find a quick way to create this arrow to use for captions in my document. The main elements are the tip of the arrow 2-tone and the circle for a tail. I know that Indesign has a tail of the arrow circle but the problem with its use, it is that the color should be the same as the race and also the size of the circle is determined by the size of the race. As far as I know, Indesign does allow you to change those.

    I tried to use this type of path:

    http://InDesignSecrets.com/making-custom-arrawheads.php

    It works very well, but you can still see the path because the path is flush with the edge of the anchored object and the end of the path is visible behind the anchored objects. I think to be able to define these objects anchored with custom positioning would solve this problem. The problem is that I don't think that Indesign lets you define objects anchored to the positioning personalized text on a path, because this option is grayed out in the anchored object options.

    I was wondering if there is another way to create an offset for anchored objects or if there is a better way to make these custom arrow heads.

    Could there be a way to use objects from a library to create custom arrowheads? Also, is there a way to do this while a style object so that arrows can to shoot quickly and then simply apply the style of the object to get the correct formatting?

    I know that this is not possible and may have to be done manually, but I'll try to find a quick and easy way to make these arrows so that other people who have to use this model won't screw up their.

    Any help/ideas would be appreciated! Thank you all!

    Jacob F.

    Well, if anyone is interested, I sort of solved the problem.

    First, it was decided that the rounded tail of the arrow and the line should use the same darker green color. I still had solved the problem of adjusting the size of the circle but this trick of Eugene Tyson that:

    change the size of the arrowhead?

    Once I did, I made a style of object out of it, so that I can quickly draw lines, and at least add the tail quickly.

    As far as the head is concerned, I still have not found an automated way to do, but I have an easier way than what makes from scratch. I was directed in the right direction with the help of type on a path, but I was able to get the arrow flush with the end of the path and not past it. I saw a tutorial on Lynda.com, that shows you how make arrowhead custom and found a missing piece of the puzzle. It turns out that InDesign uses the same grips that you get when you add the type on a path in Illustrator. The trick to get the anchored object overlap the end of the path is to adjust the object anchored using these handles... After that, the axis of the anchored object y can be adjusted manually with the selection tool. Note that only the y axis (which is actually your baseline) can be modified because InDesign does not allow embedded objects that are typed to a path using a custom positioning. At this time, I don't bother centering the text on the path because the y-axis for my form must be adjusted in any case.

    So that's the solution I came up with that. If someone wants to share a solution better or more automated, I would really like to hear it.

    Thank you!

  • Photoshop CS3 - need to uninstall and reinstall but disable is grayed out

    Photoshop CS3 lived happily for a while on my system running Windows 7 32-bit, however, lately, at the closing, it freezes, requiring a Ctrl-alt-del to force her to leave. There are the 10.0.1 patch, later. A re-installation of repair has not fixed the problem, and I'm not aware that I installed everything recently with which he must come into conflict. I tried the various tips and tricks on the forums related to refreshing hide, etc., but nothing works. Something has broken I hope to solve with a clean install. Buy the latest version of Photoshop cloud isn't in the budget... I want to just go back to where I was...

    I think I do an uninstall full of PS CS3, including deleting manually all entries in registry associated with CS3, Adobe, Photoshop, etc + run cleaner utilities. While it is not too happy about it, I'm willing to try. This is the problem, I think I also have to disable everything first to avoid some problem with Adobe to later reactivate the new facility... the problem is part of this which seems to be corrupt are the menu relating to 'disable', 'activate', etc... they are gray, so I have no way to turn it off until I try a complete uninstall.

    A few questions;

    • Is it a known issue and the difficulty for a lack of deactivation / activation for PS CS3 menu options?
    • Is there a way to preserve the activation manually key and delete all the other possible corrupted files and registry entries so that I can do a clean install?
    • Is there another way to repair a damaged installation of PS CS3?

    Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    In the end, PS CS3 became unresponsive and activate - deactivate the menu grayed out again. After trial and error a lot more, the only way to reinstall was to completely erase the hard drive, reformat and install a new OS, etc. Since I had done similar work to solve a CAD program which had problems with a re - install a player, I think that Photoshop CS3 should write files of system flags hidden in some sectors of the HDD outside the volume of Windows OS, not only hidden or obscure entries in the Windows registry, so without a way to manually find and fix roadmap / remove these flags or powerful to remove utility completely all traces of a program, a pavilion of sector or software disk corrupted outside normal windows volume can prevent or corrupt future attempts to re - install the software... that's my theory at least that other software publishers use these plans to try to protect their software licenses; Woe to the poor soul who blocked a drive hard after that software support is complete!

    Because I needed to save the volume as-is due to other software that cannot be easily re-installed, workaround to fix PS CS3 was rather install my last open license for PS CS4, which now is now installed on the same drive and continues to work perfectly.

  • Can I work with html5 in Dreamweaver CS3?

    I would like to work with html5 and stay with my CS3 application... I got to a page on my search, a page of old, but never less - Adobe Releases HTML5 Pack also old Dreamweaver CS3 or CS4 - get your HTML5 Pack also on Dreamweaver CS3-CS5

    The link takes me to the page of the add-on Adobe, doesn't seem to be there and the search doesn't bring anything? Is it still available...

    Thank you

    I don't think so. It was unnecessary for her after CS6 came out b/c, that all that has been integrated into the software. If you work in Code view and you have no waiting for HTML5, food label code tips, etc... You can work with the HTML5 code in any editor.  Do not expect CS3 to make in Design view.

  • Illustrator cc 2014 adds anchor points to the guides

    What is happening with the Illustrator CC 2014! I placed a guide for where to add a cliked of anchor point on the Add anchor point tool, but when I select the object I want to add the anchor point that adds an anchor point to the guide! so I blocked the thinking guide that would solve the problem, that it is then for me a poster that says attention please use on a segment of the path it still considers that the guide is a path!

    TIF,

    Are you sure that you select the path, not the guid?

    Maybe it's time to look at the list.

    The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

    (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.
