  Under brush tip shapes, the 'Dynamic form' option does not turn off even after that I have untick the option of turning it on.   I want to add the shape bristle brush airbrushing Photoshop cc. It seems other versions of photoshop have this brush tip and I ned to finish a project. The illustration below indicates the area where I want to add this piece of brush if you are not sure what I'm talking about.

  There are a few things to do:

  1. Edit... Preferences... Display of cursors & and see if you put the cursor displays correctly.
  2. Increase the size of the brush.
  3. Turn off your CapsLock key.

  Why in Photoshop CS4 is no icons tip brush paint on the edges of the line wiped out icon. They all paint pixels (etc.) 4 to 5 behind the line of brush tip.   Working through CS4 Classroom In A Book.  Page 257 said select subtract from Shape or press is the hyphen or minus button.  There is not subtract from shape of Option on my tool box and pressing the hyphen or key less does nothing.  Any ideas of what I could do wrong?

  My brush and dropper tips had changed when I opened the program today.  I'm moving specific to normal.  I tried to change through preferences, but it seems that my changes will not save.  I have 10 elements and Windows 8.

  Thanks to try Herugrim; what I found was to be a preference of operating system (OSX6.8) where I had chosen to increase the size of my slider. What it did was give me a false brush size, increasing the diameter according to the slider but without the following Brush tool that lead - correctly I think so. Then maybe a slight adjustment of the software could make this adaptable tool to the size of the cursor variable.

  However, having found a solution to this episode, I'm still stuck with a function of stroke (tool) that does not propoerly - see the analysis of the stroke. see you soon

  I am trying to create a model brush where the model elements overlap eachother, so I tried to set the spacing of the brush to 5%, but I don't. Why not? is there a work around to get there?

  Well you can do overlap models very easily. Create a contour unfilles rectangle that marks the area where you want to attach tiles. Move it to the back and create the tile. See an example of a rectangle here:

  I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and I am using the shape tool customized to make a note of black music.  However when I do the music note, there no color to it.  I can't find a color option for any custom shape tool.

  Where is the option that would change so the note color is black?

• I refine my selection brush tip is a circle with a line through it

  I don't know what is happening, but every time Adobe updated the program happens something evil. I use edge tool I refine my selection for years and now with the last update from last night, it does not work.

  • I make my selection then click on refine edge
  • This opens the dialog box
  • I select the overlay as my display mode
  • Then select the RADIUS tool refine

  Instead of the normal work with any brush I get is a circle with a line through it, so I can't say anything.

  Have they added a new switch that automatically prevents the user to use this tool now? Worked fine a few days before the last update.

  The biggest problem with these questions is they always happen when you change a photoshoot and cost ridiculous amounts of time and frustration and to prevent on time delivery.

  I guess that Yes JJMack, but to reinstall everything is a pain in the occipital region. I'm on CC and as updates come just click to install. Refining the edges of the selection is such a basis now that I'm surprised that that happened.

  Finally, I called Adobe and solved it. The tech told me that with a few updates the "user settings" file is corrupt.

  He would do a total reset but of course I'm worried of losing work spaces I had worked to build so it copied those on the desktop, then named the settings file... "old"and challenged market PS

  Who have to rebuild the settings file, and we tried again and still had the problem, so he tried a second time and on that one edge tool refine magically started working again.

  My workspaces were rmoved to the right folder and these work now too.

  Now, I can get this finished filming.

• CS3 Anchor tip Disapear

  I use cs3 and when I try to make a path, anchor points disappear, as I create a path. When I click on the point of presents itself, then when I let go of it left. then when I do the next point the path appears, but when I called again the path is gone and the only remains of the race.

  I think this could also be linked to the fact that when I select a path with the selection tool, encompassing appears but the way that this self is not - although if I manually rotate the path or change the scale of the path is visible.

  I'm sure it's something simple I have inadvertently selected or deselected, but if you can help me I would much apreciate it very much.

  Edit: I just remembered that I also have problems with the direct Selection tool: when I click on a point, the path is not displayed. I'm sure that it has the same fix as indicated above, but I thought I would mention it just in case.
