CS4 export to wmv

I have a MPEG-2 video that I want to convert. WMV - Windows Media Server (streaming).  I want an output format of the 320 x 240, 29 frames per second rate.  I want to do with Premiere Pro CS4.  Streaming only presets I see for Windows Media are PAL and NTSC.  NTSC output size is only 160 x 120, 10 frames per second.  This is unacceptable!  There is a button to import more presets, but I don't know how to do this.  I want a lot of export options!  At least everything I had with windows encoder (free) or Digital Media Converter (cheap), not less.

How can you get more options to export from CS4?

Thank you!

I do not have first open in front of me, but can't you just change the settings for these desired?

    Hello

I see and understand post it-sharing option, but I don't see her anywhere to save/export as WMV, MOV, AVI, MPG or FLV file formats. I had a much longer version of this program and it was not a problem to do so. In addition, export under file is always grayed out and I did not now how to change that in case these options to save in the above files are there.

Please remind me what operating system you are using for your 13 items first?

I don't think that is involved. I suspect it's the thin scroll bar but let us check this.

Let's say you want to want to export an .avi file, you use the thin scroll bar to scroll

    MPEG

    AVCHD

    XAVC-S

    AVI

    Windows Media

    QuickTime

    Image

    Audio

until you scroll to AVI and then make your choice of preset for AVI. If you decide him preset default AVI is not what that

you want, then you press the Advanced button so that AVI preset for the pre-defined customization area.

As you can see, there is a scroll more to do to Windows Media (wmv) that is closer to

    the bottom of the list.

If please consider and let us know the result. If the choice is really missing, we're in major trouble

which may require an uninstall program, ccleaner Cross and reinstall with antivirus and firewall disabled.

We will follow to your results.

    Thank you.

  • Low quality exports as .wmv files

    Hello

I am using first Pro CS4/Windows XP.

I've seen some other posts related to this topic, but I was wondering if someone could advise me on the best way to export to a 320 x 240 wmv file. I'm scaling down of an avi file, edited with chroma keying, so I could replace the background.

I tried some of the settings of export of the NTSC Source, but could not open the wmvs exported on my computer. The only parameter that seems to work is the Zune video adjustment, which exports more precisely to the size that I need. However, the quality is not very good.

I'll never be able to achieve a wmv file that corresponds to the quality of the mp4/H264? We use a system of retransmission that requires us to put wmv or flv videos, are rather limited.

If anyone can recommend the best settings, I would be extremely grateful.

    Thank you

    Christine,

I just grabbed a test Project, SD with a lot of images animated and exported WM9 1024 K Download.Variable without constraint, set the image size to 320 x 240, square Pixels and complexity of the decoder to Auto. I ran to the top the average video Bitrate to 5,000. The resulting file played fine in WMP, VLC and MediaPlayer Classic HC. Although it was 320 x 240, it still looked pretty good on my laptop screen 1680 x 1050 in full screen.

Not sure what the problem is.

  • Why WMV file loses the export as WMV quality?

I imported a WMV file into Premiere Pro CS4 and, without edit, choose Media export to print in WMV 9 format. If the file is two-and-a-half times larger, it is blurred to look at compared to the original sharp. (No audio data is involved, just straight video.)

The input format is 800 x 600, and that's what I selected for the output. No matter if I choose NTSC or PAL, the result is the same.

No idea why this is so?

Here is a link to a workflow of Camtasia ARTICLE that could be useful.

  • CS4 export to PDF problem

I'm the editor of layout for my high school newspaper, and we recently had a new imac. We put cs4 on it and made our first page.

I exported to PDF (with the same settings as on the old mac that works very well) and all the headlines turned to black boxes. We then took the form of indesign files the new mac put it on the former and exported out of that old and everything went well. Note the black boxes.http://imgur.com/eOdm9yG

Thanks in advance for any help

I return to my computer. I see the boxes here and it's certainly a kind of problem of availability of fonts, if she says that the police is incorporated. If I select and change the font of the text appears.

The fonts in question are HelveticaNeue HelveticaNeue-Bold and HelveticaNeue - Italic (TT). Here are the versions of the Mac of Helvetica Neue systems?

CS4 is fully patched on the new system?

  • ID CS4 Export Pages incorrect format

I recently updated my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. I reinstalled CS4 yesterday and I'm trying to update a file created before the update to my system.  The pages were 3.5 X 4.5 in. When you export to PDF format, the pages are out the right size. When I updated the same file (just changed a few words and saved under a different title), I tried to export to PDF. The file has taken the entire PDF page crash 3.5X4.5 inches. It's just a setting somewhere? I have no idea what could be the cause as the 'new' file is the old file, just with a few words changed. I used the old file as a template. Help, please!

  • CS4-exporting in Encore chapter markers?

In my old version of Premiere Pro, export an AVI file which contained still-readable chapter markers was pretty simple.  There is a box on the screen of the export settings, and as long as you have checked it, still would be able to pick the chapter markers.

It seems that life is not so simple in CS4.

Export in CS4 dialog does not appear to have a checkbox to indicate I want chapter markers included in the metadata of the AVI files.

I find and check the box for each individual marker indicate I want that he be treated as a marker yet.  But when I export the movie to an AVI file and then import the AVI file in yet, there is no chapter marker.

I read the help message, who recommended the file > Adobe Dynamic Link > Send in yet, but when I tried this option I find that it is a real pain in the neck.  He wanted to create a new project, and I couldn't find a way to tell ilt to use my existing project.  Also, I want to use the same sequence in several projects yet, so I don't really want to tie it to an individual project - I want to just export it into an AVI file that contains the metadata to be used in a variety of projects that I can use it in.

Is there a way to do what my old version of Premiere Pro enabled me to do — export an AVI file that contains necessary for recall chapter markers?

En chapter markers can be exported since CS4 if:

    1. You send the sequence to en via Dynamic Link.  The markers must not have a name in this case.
    2. You name chapter markers and export of Pr as a DVD MPEG2.  In this case, chapter markers must have a name, and you must check "Include XMP Source metadata" in the menu of the export settings dialog box.  (The information in chapter markers are included in the XMP sidecar file)

Gone is the possibility of exporting AVI files with chapter markers.

Even if you can not specify which project en you want to leave Pr when sending a sequence to en via Dynamic Link, you can open any project of en and import one or more sequences of Pr via file again. Command of Adobe Dynamic Link.

  • PPro CS4 - export of Sony XDCAM EX project 1080 p to still - black bars

I tried to export a project with a timeline of 1080 p Sony XDCAM EX PPro CS4 via dynamic link to yet. Final result will be a DVD. After the (progressive) MPEG-2 hardware encoding I find myself with black bars (about 5 to 10 pixels wide) on both sides, left and right of the movie (at the same time when exporting via the Media Encoder it appear not all bars). Is still a conversion problems the proportions of material for the correct relationship of HD?

    black-bars-xdcam.JPG

Both use the same encoding engine, while they give the same results. But the small black bars are inevitable due to differences between HD and SD RATED.

  • After editing with CS4 export problem

    Hi all.

I hope I can get help here because I'm increasingly frustrated. I use Ver 1.5 body w / Matrox hardware since 2004 and was well. I just upgraded to CS4 that I need to edit AVCHD, HDV widescreen and mix in with high-end DV video. Summer at this for almost 2 months, but the decline in self-confidence.

I built my own computer editing, hoping that all the pain of waiting for the render would be greatly reduced. Not true, or I'm doing something wrong.

    My specs are:

    System: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. on a drive of 80 GB system with Program files;

Mobo: Asus P5B-E with the Intel Quad Core 9650 3 GHz processor,

    "4-band matched 2 Gig DDR2-800 memory,

    Hard drives: 2 x 640 GB eSATA Raid 1 is used for all files publishing;

    2 x hotswap removable 250G SATA for the video work captured files;

2 x fixed 160G IDE on a PCI card to contain the export files.

The DVD writer is an ASUS DRW - 2024 Lightscribe SATA

Graphics card: Asus EAH3450 PCIe with 2 Sony displays connected via a cable 15 pin RGB.

Edge HD sound turn off to a digital JVC Media coaxial 5.1 amplifier.

My PROBLEM IS NOT NOT EDITING, BUT AFTER.

    1. I can't exit product again through the Adobe Dynamic Link. No reaction at all!

I get error messages saying that there is a compatibility issue, but no other explanation. So I hope I can try another way, which should prove to be an AVI file, for each job and burn it to DVD with Nero 9. Is not the case.

    2. a simple 19 minutes after rendering sequence will go via Media Encoder but believed initially more than six hours to convert AVI Windows, but the time goes slowly never increase and then freeze the mouse an hour!

I have three orders waiting to be burned to DVD from a combination of 3 AVCHD 1 and 2 DVCAM video tracks and titles, but can't get any further, mainly because of this problem I mentioned. Two of the jobs that I have edited are productions of music about 2 hours. Can you imagine that the first time I tried to put it through the Media Encoder, I got an estimate of 79 hours to complete? I can't believe it is the fault of CS4 and I am all of these ideas, after trying different combinations in Media Encoder.

I want to just burn a DVD Double face, preferably with 5.1 encoding, for each job, does not...

I never had this problem with Agency V.1.5 and then... I had a simple single core Pentium 4 3.2 Gig on an ASUS P5GDC-V!

Can you suggest me a better workflow more suited to CS4? I'm also less good resolution as the quality of shoot. 16:9 comes out too skinny! I guess I'm doing everything wrong... What I did different from the worm PPRo would 1.5 I?

    Thanks in advance...

    Mario.

    Mario,

It can be many things causing this. I suggest you only start with two things:

1 run the http://ppbm4.com test and submit the results for Bill (and possibly the output.txt file send me a private mail or report here)

    2. follow this link: suggestions and proceed to the second included link and provide the requested information, etc. DXDIAG.txt.

  • Can I do a .swf InDesign CS4 export scale by open size of a browser?

Hello.  I would like to make my .swf to inDesign CS4 file able to scale the size of a browser open.  When I used Flash already change the size of the document to 100% achieved this effect.  However, I'm not having much luck with this approach with my inDesign CS4 .swf export.  I am reluctant to export in an XML for Flash file because I want to keep my fancy page turns. • Fireworks CS4 export to Dreamweaver, Divs layers?

What happened to the export to dreamweaver in simple tables?  I'm not all used to work with layered divs, but it seems as if the only way that the fireworks will export to Dreamweaver CS4 is that way.  I miss something, or something wrong?

This is because they bring the export function of FWs in accordance with the creation of CSS layouts instead of the 'old fashioned' method to create layouts of tables.    However, I would not use this type of export, that I would not have recommended or using the export tables :-)

You should never let a graphics program the export of HTML code for you. The code is often fragile, it is still swollen and may break at the slightest provocation.

It is best to design the layout in Fireworks and then cut out the design and code of the provision itself in Dreamweaver.

  • Problem of FW CS4 export buttons with rollover to dreamweaver

    Fireworks newbie here-

I created a button with several States in fireworks cs4 and have problems exporting to Dreamweaver.

    (1) if I have the file-> Preview in the browser by the key works fine.

    (2) if I export using the "HTML and Images" export option, my button works correctly.

    (3) but if I export using the "CSS and Images" export option, my button does not work. When I take a glance at what has exported to Dreamweaver, I notice that only the gif for the up State was exported and I also notice that no javascript code has been exported.

    I'm stumped, any suggestions?

Yes, your observation is correct. Export CSS + Images does not include Javascript, only the texts, the slices of rectangles and images. JavaScript is only included export "HTML + Images", which is a traditional prototype export. It creates fixed, based on tables layouts is not really suitable for production sites.

As far as I know, the two workflows is not interchangeable and is intended for different purposes. If you go for export of CSS and other changes in DW, I recommend to use CSS for your States of button sprites. Also, if you go this route, it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the features and limitations of export CSS + Images:

  • Yet CS4 Export as Question Flash on the display full screen

I produce 16 video segments in first.  I now need to combine in a video that runs continuously and plan to use Encore CS4 to do this.  In the Build section, there is a selection of Flash.  In addition to the DVD (which I will do in yet) I want as the Flash version.

I think it might be easy for the customer to browse all the associated files made by again and put them on any computer, open it and let the video game on the computer (with a large attached screen).  Much like you would in a kiosk environment.

My question is - I did a quick refresher test and things seem to work except when you play the video, it doesn't seem to be a mode switch full-screen.  I thought it would be, but there isn't.  Is there a way to activate the mode full screen?

    Thank you.

The flash can be fussy playing "locally". If some security settings may be required on the PC play back.

There are limits to the Flash yet. These have changed between version CS4 upward through CS6.

Customize the player controls have become much more flexible with, I think, CS5, but maybe 5.1 or CS6.
