  (b) you get any error message?

  (c) don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

  (d) what anti-virus software is installed on your computer?

  I suggest you try the steps below and check if it helps

  Method 1:

  If you have installed a security software on the computer, then I suggest you to temporarily disable a software antivirus installed on the computer and check if the same problem occurs

  I am trying to reinstall Illustrator CS4 because it doesn 't start. But if I try to reinstall from Creative Suite disk it freezes and will not install.   I bought a new HP Pavilion 550 - 055na with Windows 8 a month or two ago but want to use Windows 7. However, I decided that I will keep the hard, the PC came with, and have the option of Windows 8 in future if I want. So, I'm installing Windows 7 on a new hard drive.

  My problem is that the new copy of Windows 7 will not install on my new hard drive.  I get:

  Violation of secure boot

  Invalid signature detected. See the policy in the configuration of secure boot

  Then me to a black screen after I pressed Enter/Ok, who said the following.

  On IPv4 PXE boot.

  If I press F12 on power on, I get a blue box asking me to select a boot device. The only options are:

  You have to enable the legacy mode and disable start-up secured in the BIOS to be able to install and run W7.

  Recently, a friends Pavillion dv6 - 6153cl laptop started bluescreens frequent (many x 50 on igdpmd64.sys).   (on Win7 64 bit, completely up to date)

  I came across this site and downloaded the current drivers but try as I can, they will not install. The message implies that they are bad drivers, but I have confirmed that they are the 2 parters - driver package AMD, including ATI and Intel drivers for the video "switchable". Most of the AMD install - except the 2 pilots and the C++ package components. AMD checks prior approval from hardware to install and does not renounce it.

  The error is:

  "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software.
  or it just keeps trying to install it until it skips this step and goes to the next component, which gives the error the failure at the end.

  I searched this site and found a number of references to similar problems. I've updated the BIOS, all other drivers, removed the old drivers (it is now running on Win VGA drivers), updated part of HP software, run a repair on Windows update and Installer, tried the previous version available, uninstalled C++, cancelled prior unpacking, checked Mode drivers safe, ran HP Support Assistant and tried to manually launch the installation program in compatibility mode admin.

  Windows Update also wanted to update the 2 drivers but who do not. Twice. He will probably try again.

  I ran sfc and Auditor - alls well with the other drivers.

  There is no obvious change that percipitated the question.

  The WinUpdate KB2670838 that sometimes causes a similar error has not been installed.

  The system works at normal temperatures. And it stopped crashing. But only 600 x screen resolution.

  Any suggestions on how to get the drivers to install?

  My friend decided to hold the laptop store as they needed more functional. Of course, they were able to update the video drivers well obviously had a problem with an obscure audio problem. (audio drivers have been included in the package of video driver HP that they perhaps do not use) All is now well and unfortunately I cannot report on what drivers, they used to solve the problem. • I installed Windows 7 64 bit and then some programs will not install the 64 - bit while telling me that I have a 32 bit OS. How can I make sure I have load a 64-bit version only when there is a choice?

  I have create a new PC and installed Windows & Pro 64-bit. While some offer programs install both 32-bit and 64-bit as a single installation and the installation of the program checks it should install. A few programs installed 32-bit when I said to use the 64-bit. I received a message that I had a 32 bit OS and that it could not install the 64-bit version. How can I ensure that the 64-bit version is always installed when it is available. I have a program that I need it's 32-bit however.

  I also installed Office 2010 and want to know how to check if it installed 32-bit or 64-bit.
  All this is because I'm about to build a new PC for my wife and want to avoid these problems right at the front with it.

  If you buy a commercial version of win7 you are provided with the installation dvd of bit versions and a unique activation key. You cannot install both versions.

  Most of the programs will install without problem in a 64-bit version of victory, there is very little that will not be installed on Windows 64-bit.

  You install programs as usual, you don't need to change any settings or install to anywhere other than their default locations. -C' IE you do not manually select the x 86 folder or any other folder.

  If the program you are installing has the ability to install a specific version of bit, and it does not work, then the problem is that options program installers, you must contact the program support

  A retail version of Office 2010 also comes with two versions of ILO.

  Having a 64-bit version of victory does NOT mean that you need to install 64-bit Office, in fact MS recommends that stick you with 32-bit Office (reason being compatibility with various plug0ins Office)

  I'm running Windows 7 64.  I tried to use Windows Update and received this message: element not found, not found error (0 x 80070490).  Code 490 Windows Update encountered an unknown error.  I tried all of the troubleshooting, difficulty, burning the .iso (which worked great on my laptop running Win 7 32) and I tried a repair, nothing works.  Any ideas or should I just not worry about installing SP1?

  If all the above steps give no results, the next logical step is to perform an InPlace upgrade.

  An upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system.

  Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

  How to perform a repair installation of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Run a repair installation will restore the current installation of Windows to the version of the installation DVD. It also requires the installation of all the updates that are not included on the installation DVD.

  Note Run a repair installation will not damage files and applications that are currently installed on your computer.

  To perform a repair installation of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, follow these steps:

  I have a copy of the right of Adobe cs4 enterprise, but I have a new computer and I am trying to install the CS4 on my new computer.

  I have contaced Adobe who gave me the download links for it but something does not work and it will not be installed. I can only install Photoshop but not the whole of the suite.

  Can someone give me the download link good for CS4 please?

  Is there a specific error message that you get trying to download/install the product? If you have a copy of the Adobe CS4 enterprise, I think you would need to connect to the Licensing website to download the product you are looking for.

  PS: If you have not purchased this product and someone in your organization for you, it would be best to check with them on the connection that you won't have access to it.

  I have 6 new updates will not be installed. The updates are for MS Works 9 and MS Office. Acts of the computer as it installs, but the installation always fails and the next day I always shows the same 6 updates waiting to be installed.   There is a driver recommended relatively complete for the Deskjet 6540 written by HP and Microsoft via Windows Update.  If the automatic install does not work, perform the following steps: connect the printer by USB.  Click Start, devices and printers, adding a printer, select the appropriate port and when the list of printers, click Windows Update in the lower right part of the dialog box.  It will take a few minutes for the update to complete, once that he choose the Deskjet HP (Hewlett-Packard no) 6500 Series.
