  Computer: iMac Core i5 running Snow Leopard 10.6.4

  Adobe: CS5 Design Standard

  Apps of CS previous Design: CS3 (currently uninstalled/disabled)

  Font management: Suitcase Fusion 3

  Problem: Amnesty International and ID crash on launch - either directly from the application or an existing file. After the initial installation, the programs open very well. Now only Photoshop opens fine and others will not.

  In previous posts, I saw discussions on possible and guilty of font management policies and guilty of permission. Based on these observations, they meet as "best estimates". But given the number of positions on the issues, not Adobe just introduced statements of the resolution or the patch somewhere?

  So what seems to be the consensious on the problem and solutions? Thank you in advance for answering and I will be the guest answering questions because I now have to work on my G4 more after spending a gazillion $ for upgrade in the era of 2010.

  PS Adobe: I hold a share, and it undermines the value of this investment.

  I just upgraded to CS6 in CS5.  I was told by tech support that I would be prompted to enter my new serial number CS6 to start the download, and that I would be also asked to enter my CS5 serial number to activate the update of my existing software.

  I followed the step by step installation, but I was invited only to enter my serial number CS6.

  Installation is now finished and I now have versions both CS5 and CS6 running.

  Is this normal?

  Feel free to uninstall CS5. Just be aware that it will mess up the file associations, will not work if a double click to directly open a file for editing. If you do not need disk space, simply leave it in place.

  I have a PC that had both the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine installed 2013 and 2013 LabVIEW development environment.  I uninstalled the 2013 LabVIEW development environment, and now the executable files will not work.  They say that the Run-Time of 2013 is not installed.  However, execution 2013 is listed in MAX.  It does not appear in the list of available software to uninstall, so I can't uninstall and reinstall either.  When I try to run the installer from the runtime of 2013, it is said that the runtime is already installed.  It seems that I am stuck with a corrupted installation of Run-Time?  Is there anyway to remove completely the execution so I can reinstall it properly?

  Recently, I was in charge of search and do a few examples of how to print pdf with Oracle Apex 4.2.2 (Oracle 11 g).

  I want to use Apex 2.0 listener that standalone as a print server, we installed and we changed the configuration of the print server in the administration workspace. Then I created a report query and when I have the test report, a pdf file is downloaded, but when he opens, Adobe reader tells me that is not a valid pdf file.

  Our Apex application runs in the pl/sql gateway mode not Apex listener.

  So my squestion is: "" Is it mandatory for application Apex runs in mode listener Apex to use Apex listener 2.0 as a print server?".

  You have answered your own question... If you use the EPG, then you can NOT use another product middleware or application server until you turn off the EPG...

  Why you use the EPG in production?  Oracle does NOT recommend this (see the APEX Oracle installation instructions..)

• Impossible to update the CS5 apps in Windows 10

  I'm trying to update to After Effects CS5 Version 10 to 10.02. in Windows, 10. I can't successfully run the updates downloaded using Adobe Application Manager. I get errors for each application indicating "some updates could not be installed" "update is not Applicable.

  I was able to update Illustrator, Photoshop, and first in Windows 7 on this computer before an update of Windows 10. I also did some prior tests on Windows 10 beforehand with Premiere Pro installations since she need an installation in Compatibility Mode or cause errors running Premiere Pro. But unfortunately now running Windows 10 I am unable still re - run updates for Illustrator and Photoshop.

  I right click on the hotfix installer to check compatibility, but MAO appears still and will not run the update. So my question would be if the full downloadable versions of CS5 Master Suite would include the latest updates. Then you could install both in Windows 10 in compatibility mode and fixed. Applications run well in W10, but clearly, there are a few problems with specific applications installation and all updates on Windows 10.

  Hoping it can be a workaround with these downloads. Appreciate any help. Maybe this post to MS too.

  As I just found the solution solved my own question. Adobe shows this procedure for CS 5.5 and creative cloud but it updates Adobe Application Manager of CS5 and so I was able to run my installers and successfully run all updates for applications in Windows 10 CS 5. http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4773&FILEID=4437

  Hope this helps people. Windows 10 and Adobe CS 5 works well. Don't forget to install in Compatibility Mode for Win 7 and get the update that I linked above for the AAM.
