CS5 only install the 64 bit version?
I read several times (for CS4, at least) versions both 64-bit and 32-bit are installed on a 64 bit OS... so old 32-bit add-ins can be used
I have a new 64-bit Win7 64 bit computer and I'll install CS5 as soon as it arrives on my front porch
Given that I have no 32-bit add-ins and the 32-bit version is useless, is there a way to tell the installer to use the 64 bit version?
John
To answer your question, it's the readme CS5:
"
Photoshop will automatically install the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS5 if you're on a Windows 32-bit operating system. Photoshop will install both versions 32-bit and 64-bit Photoshop on 64 - bit systems. To install only the version of Photoshop 64-bit on a 64-bit Windows operating system, follow these steps:
1. run the Photoshop CS5 Installer.
2. Enter your serial number. Click on accept.
3. on the right side of the Options Panel under the title of 64-bit, uncheck the box for Adobe Photoshop CS5. Let the "Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 bit)" option checked.
4. complete the installation.
Hope that helps

Right click and menus of Firefox have a 3-4 sec lag only on the 64-bit version
Firefox on several versions (at least the tests 21 and 26) has a mismatch when using menus and clicks.
When you use a 32-bit version, this difference does not exist. Only when you use the 64-bit version the symptom appears.
This forum works on Ubuntu 10 64 bits.
I don't know where to look, the problem appears also in Safe Mode, but does not seem to trace.
Thanks for the pointers to solutions or educational messages, and troubleshooting tips.
Cheers, xgiannakHello
I have not run a terminal server, but a full desktop of Ubuntu (10.10). The bug above advice for the libxcd and I did not have this library on my system
BUT
the problem disappeared after a reboot!
I agree completely with your analysis of a problem located in the X system. Without doubt, there can be many causes.
So to summarize my case, I assumed that something was corrupted in the X Server and forced to use some features of relief, but this ability has caused the problem of delay in right click. When I rebooted, the server restarted correctly and fresh, and the problem does not appear.
Let me know if it seems too stupid as explanation.
I'm sorry to hear other people have the same problem. We can continue the analysis for them on this thread.
Thanks again and soon, xgiannak -
Re: Qosmio F50 - 10M - how to install the 64-bit version of BIOS?
Hello guys,.
I've updated my Qosmio F50 for Windows7 Professional 64-bit by installing the scratch (deleting these VISA32bit; from formatting the partition/hard drive).
I installed the BIOS version 2.20 update 64 bit installation process stopped saying something like: "you already have the latest version of the bios. Of course, I made the misstake install the bios with the same number of version 2.20 while I used vista, but this version was the 32 bit one.
How can I convince the computer to accept the 64 bit version of the BIOS installed (because it seems not to recognize that it is different) and what are the special benefits from 64 to 32-bit version of the BIOS?
Thank you for your kind replies.
Yours,
Starmind_1Hey,.
Are you sure that you have installed the WIN32 of BIOS version if this error message appears?
Last year I also changed the BIOS to a WIN32 for WIN64 version and it was no problem. Update worked correctly, but I did this update on the preinstalled Vista version of Toshiba.
It works when you try the update of Vista?

I just installed windows 7 pro. Unfortunately, by mistake I installed the 32-bit program on 64-bit program. now that I try to install the 64-bit, I get the error message: "this installation disc is not compatible with your version of windows. upgrade I need the disk to correct installation. so he said to shut down your computer and reboot the installation disc. »
but when I reboot it just goes directly to the office. would someone kindly give advice on how I overcame this misadventure? I know that windows 7 pro on my computer, 32-bit version, but want windows 7 pro 64-bit version. I still have the discs and software keys... Thank you.Prior to this installation, I was running 32 bit XP proYou'll need during cratch because there is no way to upgrade a 32 bit OS to a 64-bit version of Windows.
Check your BIOS to make sure that your DVD drive is set as the first boot device, and then save your settings (if a change was required) and get out.
With the 64-bit DVD in the DVD drive, restart the computer.
Choose the "Custom" option and then delete the existing system and Windows partitions, click next to continue the installation,
Since you enabled the OS using the 32-bit product key most likely you need to activate by phone this time.
How to activate Windows 7 or Vista manually (activate by phone)

Installed the 64 bit version of vista, but need to 32-bit. Help, please!
My Vista 32 bit was removed from my Sony Vaio. I tried to use a disc of Vista, but after I loaded it, I realized it was a 64-bit version of Vista. The screen is filled only partially. I don't have a backup for 32-bit Vista disc, then how I would go from 64-bit to 32-bit Vista so I can have my full screen back?
It is your option to reinstall Vista 32 bit.
Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed. There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

I want to have both versions because my pc is 64-bit, but he can't function with
Module LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation
and
LabVIEW MathScript RT module
This funtion two apps with 32-bit lab VIEW 2014SP1
also, in the forum, I see that it may be possible, check on question number 6
"Q: I have 32-bit LabVIEW and LabVIEW 64 bit installed on the same 64-bit machine? ."
A. Yes. »http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/71E9408E6DEAD76C8625760B006B6F98
Help, please
I suspect that most of the facilities of LabVIEW on Windows consists of LabVIEW 32 bit running on an operating system 64-bit Windows (for the most part, Windows 7, 8 and 10). As you noted, all the toolboxes have 32-bit versions, and many do not have 64-bit versions (although that is changing). If you don't need the memory of the large model (and have the memory to support), I recommend sticking with 32-bit LabVIEW. You will have less room for error and Confusion.

I can not install the 64-bit version
I had the version of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, but when I download flash player it downloads the 32 bits, and it sometimes doesn't work as it should. Sorry for my English.
The Setup program automatically installs the 32-bit and 64-bit players on a 64 bit system. You can check
- 64-bit: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
- 32-bit: C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash

How to stop auto installation of the 32-bit versions?
I noticed that CC istalling ist the two versions - 32 and 64 bit without asking me if I need it. So I have now each program in two versions, but I only need 64-bit and it also wastes a lot of space on the hard drive... This is essential because my hd is really small. Is there a way to say CC and the update to only install the 64-bit versions?
