  Hello. I just did a fresh install of Mac OS x 10.6.8 and tried to reinstall CS6 on our upgrade license. The CS4 series does not work and it says contact customer.   I heard they deny help to CS5.5 and earlier versions, but since CS6 is still sold, according to me, you should always be able to get support for it, at least through chat.

  I have a valid complete installation disk with serial number for CS6 Master Collection. Recently, I also started a subscription to CC.

  I want to use CC by its terms of use on my main machine (a Mac with Windows in parallels) which, in my view, will be taken into account that the two facilities of my CC license. I also have a second PC where I would use my valid serial number perfectly to install and run CS6.

  Re-record the perpetual license with a different Adobe ID and use the CS6 installation on this ID.  This will keep the system to blend during activation.  Don't forget to disable the CS6 (if she will allow this option) if possible.  This is the best option for now.  If you have any problem with the re-setup, use the Adobe cleaner on the CS6 machine.

  I bought two new computers, installed CS6 and enabled on both computers.  I forgot to disable CS6 on the old computer.  So I CS6 activated on 3 computers.  Strange.  Anyone know why this is happening?  Thank you

  I got an education of the CC version while I was teaching, but now it has expired, he killed my CS6. I don't want to pay for the renewal fees I am happy with CS6 at this stage.

• How we stop to resume my perpetual license CS6 creative cloud?

  I have a perpetual license for CS6 Master Collection / Windows I have installed on my PC and laptop a couple of years.  12 months ago I registered for the creative cloud / plan of all applications.  I canceled the plan creative cloud yesterday and my perpetual license CS6 has stopped working.  After several chat sessions with Adobe engineers, told me to completely uninstall CS6 Master Collection and re - install with my serial number.  It has worked to resolve the problem of activation.

  It is also the same thing on my Macbook.  I have only a perpetual license of Photoshop CS6 on the mac, not the Master Collection. I had installed creative cloud and then out of the CC that caused the CS6 ask login when I try to run it.  I have not had Photoshop CS6 works again on the Mac. I guess I'll need to uninstall and reinstall as well.

  I never installed CS6 on any of the machines through creative cloud configuration.  CS6 has been installed before CC on all 3 machines using the DVD and serial numbers.

  Even though I cancelled my CC/plan of applications, I wanted to start a new plan CC for Photoshop only.  I am now reluctant to do this because I don't want to pick up on my CS6 activations.  Is in any way to prevent that from happening?  In addition, no one knows why this happens? I think that maybe when CS6 works it automatically updates is pass the license on behalf of CC license if there is one installed.  In any case, I would avoid it for that if I install Photoshop CC but then disconnect my CS6 would continue to operate without having to re - install.

  You need to reinstall CS6 after the cancellation of the CC that both were of the same Adobe ID. You can still use & solidarity two CS6 & cc.

  This dialog box "cannot complete this action because the other program is busy. Choose ' switch to ' to activate the busy program and correct the problem' open LR6 will not start. "
  I gave two options "switch to"... which takes me right in my start (Windows 7 Pro) Menu to choose whatever program I want to (apparently)) or 'Retry' which doesn't do anything.
  'Cancel' is there, but greyed out, so not really there.
  
  I just got a 2 hours with tech support chat where their only suggestion was to make me go to

  They then told me to record and then try again (alas, without modification), and then told to try this "Creative Cloud Cleaner. So I downloaded that and asking him to remove 'Creative cloud' only, and Photoshop CS6 now throws as Extended CS6, I do not have and do not want. But the Extended CS6 activation dialog box wants my serial number, which are not good for Extended CS6 because 1. This is not what I paid for and 2. This isn't what have installed on this computer. I had Photoshop CS6 (not CC) and Lightroom (not CC) 6.

  Somehow, CC got installed when I updated to LR6, but not by any deliberate by me. It has been installed automatically by Adobe and now I have no way to access my files 140 thousand image dating back to 2001, which have all their adjustments made in Lightroom v6.

  I've been on Photoshop since it was in Lightroom and Aldus since v1.  Clueless on Chat at Adobe people sent me here because they have "done all steps"... sigh.

  Anyone know how I can just go back to where I was yesterday, CS6 and LR 6, no CC, on my computer Windows 7 Pro?

  I recently photographed a lab of computers running Mac OS 10.11.6 trainees. The image contains Adobe CS6. Imagery post, I activated the license with the local administrator account. I have disconnected and connected as a student and verified that I could start one of the applications, InDesign, without being prompted to activate the license again. However, since the end of this process about 2 weeks, some students are being asked to activate the license when they launch the same application, InDesign.

  Is there a different process that I should follow to allow the license must be enabled for all users?

  I can't respond directly to this question, but a part of your problem may be that CS6 has not been and will not be updated to be compatible with this operating system... so you will never have this old software works correctly with your new operating system

  • CS6 installed/enabled, but it closed after 5 seconds.  (No crash, no message, just leave.)
  • Uninstalled and installed/activated CS6, same deal.
  • Uninstalled/installed CS6 trial only, which worked well.
    • The licensed product, but eventually she closed after 5 seconds.
  • File deleted license and CS6 worked well again.
  • Updated all in trial mode.
    • Re - a product license, but eventually she closed after 5 seconds.

• Activation code required for the activation of Photoshop CS6?

  My husband bought a copy of CS6 for me on Ebay.  It seemed to be legitimate.  I installed it and it seems to work fine, however when installing it never triggered a demand for a serial number, the activation code or anything like that.  Is that how the CS6?  I already have a version of CS3 on my computer when installing it.  We are just concerned that this could be a trial version or a little partial version.  Any ideas or experience with this?
