  What do you mean it does not work? You try to create a folio?

  Which is not supported under CC2015. You will need to return to CC2014.

  I followed the instructions, installed InDesign CS6, installed the tools yet when I open the sample project in the tutorial I have no option to overlay form creator window > Extensions

  Can someone help me please? Point me in the right direction?

  In Indesign CS6, so-called superposition of Folio. Go to Windows > Folio overlays.

  Have you tried to delete InDesign preferences? Start InDesign, and immediately after, hold down the modifier keys (control,alt,shift, or ctrlalt-shift option). Click Yes to delete and then see if the Panel options work.

  Can anyone help? Since the lion updated no checkboxes don't work in the overlay creator, all other checkboxes in indesign work, only the creator of the overlay. I have all the updates of DPS. We just signed the contract of 1 year for DPS, but it will take 10 days to activate and we have no gold in this period support...

  I hope so. First of all, you can try to delete InDesign preferences. Start InDesign from the Finder, and then immediately hold the keys of change(Option-shift-command)and then click Yes to remove. If this does not work, reinstall the producer Folio tools. No one who goes to work, answer and we'll go from there.

• Object/slideshow Multistate with video?

  Hello.  I searched on Google and here to see if there was a response.  I couldn't find one so far.  I am wanting to create a video slideshow using multiple videos to create a multistate object.  I made the videos in a multistate fine object, and in the slide show overlay Panel, I chose to start when I click/tap it and only play once.  However, when I test it, I type once to play and he does.  But when I tap again to stop it, it resonates just himself.

  Is it possible to do with the video?  I also hit video pop-up controls.

  Oops.  I thought about it.  I didn't have anything that is specified in the support for the video Panel.  I edited only things using the Audio/Video Panel in the overlay creator.  I needed to do both.

• Floating frame - melted at the bottom

  Hey guys,.

  I can't get this to work. I have a floating frame, and I would like to have a subtle shading the bottom of it.

  I know how this Flash etc.: create a gradient image/chart of total transparency to white (or your background color) and superimpose on top of the framework.

  But when I try to do this in InDesign, the floating frame is located at the top of all the rest.

  Is there a way to get the videographic image degraded to sit on top of the overlay? Maybe making it into some form of superposition?

  Adobe life 2012 application has it put in place. See attached screenshot.

  It's pretty easy, I just learned this.  All you need to do is create a MOS (Multi State Object) with an image with a gradient and color that matches your border scroll background.  It must be a MOS because it can be sitting/living on top of the moving image.

  So first, you create the gradient to sit on top of the SF.  Say for example using your example, make white transparent degraded discoloration.  Are the same width as your SF.  Make about a half inch or so great.  Make two identical copies and give it to a MOS.  In the Overlay creator set the 'Auto Play' and 'Play' MOS 1 and check «Stop and last Image» Place this at the bottom of your SF MOS and it will give the effect of it fading as it scrolls.  Play with the spacing of your SF to make sure it sounds good when scrolling.

  Whenever one of my colleagues opens the Adobe Media Encoder, it loads the start screen for the SOUL, but then we get the following:

  We have already tried to uninstall and reinstall, but without a bit of luck.

  It's the CS6 Cloud creator on Windows 7 x 64 machine.

  SOUL works very well if you uninstall the plug-ins from Boris?

• Capture and send data in a DPS application

  I was instructed to turn some catalogs catalog/order apps. We printed catalogs (designed in InDesign) representatives show stores and they order huge amounts and they want me to integrate the catalogue and orders in one digital solution.

  Thus, for example, a rep goes to the store and begins to go through the catalog on his iPad. The seller sees a product that he loves and he wants 100 of them. The rep then, on this same page, selects a quantity of 100 and click on "add to order". They then continue through the catalog of product order as they go. Once the rep, click 'place order' button and all orders are sent to Headquarters for processing.

  What InDesign and DPS able to do this? It can record data? What happens if I use the 'Web Content Overlay creator' for the part of data capture? I mean, I'm going to build an appropriate for this application?

  If anyone has seen an app that does please let me know that I can't do that.

  Looks like you want to use forms for this scenario.

  At the time current DPS does not accept the forms. You will have to use an overlay of Web or import HTML.

  Hello! I have a problem with html content. For example, FWD. If I import the folder with the file index.html of FWD as an article everything works fine. If I connect it trough the overlay creator/webcontent folio) in a box in indesign dps, it remains empty. Looks like it does not find the images/paths?

  This sounds familiar. FWD is not like working in a superposition of web content, unless the JavaScript and other source files are uploaded in HTMLResources. This means change your local HTML file so that the paths to the JavaScript files, images, and CSS first to the virtual folder HTMLResources (.. /.. /.. /HTMLResources/) before their subfolder and file names. It's worth a try.

• PDF format for the issue of the Apple Store

  We used pdf format in our simple editing of the pinch and zoom feature and work well on iPad 2 and 3. However, Apple has rejected our application because it was a pdf file. How can we have the pinch and zoom function without using the PDF format?

  Well, is one of their standard models that your application needs more features intreactive. Now try to add as interactive features that you can use the overlay creator, use frames more scrollables, OSM and web content overlays/hyperlinks and resubmit the application.

  When I place a file of edge using the overlay creator > Web content method and allow interactivity, animation can be moved to the page by the user.

  Is it possible to lock the animation in place while allowing the user to interact with the buttons in the entertainment on board?

  Yep, I've done the framework of Indesign and the exact same animation scene size - but the width of the Edge file was ments not on the scene.

  Changing overflow to hidden on board, I stopped the problem.

• Remove the text/toggles between Images w/Tap

  I have a title page of an article composed of a photo with the text above it.  I want the user to be able to touch the screen to remove the text in order to allow them to view the photo itself.

  Is there a way to put the text on another layer, and then make sure that the layer disappear / reappear with one tap (like Mag +)?

  I tried a workaround using the sequence of images and slide shows of two images, one with and one without the text.  Using the slide show, I can allow the user to access and 'remove' the text showing them the underlying image without the text, but then they are blocked on this image and unable to return to the image with text/title.

  Anyone has any ideas, how to proceed?

  It's simple.

  Create your 2 MSO steps using the State of the object Panel.

  When you select the DSO. The overlay creator Panel Slidshow controls.

  Leave it as what!

  Then, draw a rectangle on the ASM, select it and convert to button (object > Interactive > convert to button).

  In the buttons Panel, set the action of the button to go to the next State.

  Now use the preview at the bottom of the overlay button creator or panels Folio Builder to test the result.

  Each tap (click) will toggle the State currently displayed, that is, if I'm not wrong, what you asked.

• Folio preview does not?

  I use InDesign CS5.5 with the last updated with the last Folio Builder Tools v20. Trying to get an overview of the articles using file > preview of Folio to Folio overview Panel opens and is empty. With the help of the preview of the Overlay creator I have Adobe content viewer for opening and there is an overview. Is this a bug or am I missing something. Never had this problem before.

  Yes, it is a known problem in CS5 and 5.5. See http://forums.adobe.com/message/4399358#4399358 for more details. You can call the Folio Builder Panel preview and it works perfectly.
