  The real widgets are in the Gallery\Widgets not in this subfolder, that's why you get the message. You mix different types of objects, these are animations, normally you go if you want to change the "hot spots" for this type of question.

  You have to ask Apple why the design has changed. You should still be able to delete songs by changing your selection of synchronization and synchronize.

  Or you can delete songs directly on your iPad and other iOS devices, directly in the music app or via settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage management > music

  The white flash indicates logic receives an order of what it can not do... Its like a visual error msg.

  I suspect a device connected to your Mac sends an error msg... or even your keyboard typing accidentally pressed causes the white flash error...
