Edge animation interactivity allows the animation to move the page.

Hello.

When I place a file of edge using the overlay creator > Web content method and allow interactivity, animation can be moved to the page by the user.

Is it possible to lock the animation in place while allowing the user to interact with the buttons in the entertainment on board?

Thank you

Ben.

Thanks Bob.

Yep, I've done the framework of Indesign and the exact same animation scene size - but the width of the Edge file was ments not on the scene.

Changing overflow to hidden on board, I stopped the problem.

Thanks again.

Ben.

  • Insertion edge animations in a web page

    I can't find any documentation on how to insert a file .oam in a web page. Can anyone help? The video says Adobe .oam is used to InDesign. About Dreamweaver, most of the posts seem to indicate that it simply works by using the insert/media link. Can just insert the file .oam only, as if it were a photo? Works for me on my desktop but not on my site, not even with all the associated files downloaded.

    Are there simple instructions somewhere?

    Hi, IronADDT-

    at_play has some good suggestions to make things indexable.  About reactive capabilities in Dreamweaver, you can actually make your sensitive files.  Here's how I did it:

    1. Insert your OAM file in Dreamweaver
    2. Open the view or split code and watch your animated object.  It should start with and have a fixed height and width
    3. Change the settings in the tag: set the 100% width and 100% height (or what you want the value)
    4. Please note that you must give your body a 100% width/height style to allow responsiveness on the page itself

    Hope this helps,

  • Use Adobe Edge Animation for page transitions in Muse?

    Could you use Edge Animation to create a page transition in Muse?

    Hello Gary,.

    You can use static animations of the edge in Muse.

    However, using the transition with the help of Edge effects in Muse in my view is not possible.

    This link "Content Inserting Adobe Edge to a Web of Muse site" might be useful.

  • Edge cancels the background of the page HTML - is this a bug?

    Hello

    In the most recent preview, I'm running on a fairly serious problem.  I created a very simple example to show what is happening (see below).  In fact, when I insert the edge animation in my html page, that he cancels the background color I assigned to the entire page.  In this case, I have the color of #9966CC.  You can see the color as the load of the animation, but then the background everything becomes white.

    Here is an example of the page:

    http://bvcdesign.com/edgeBGissue.html

    It's just 2 slides with a preloader.

    I would really appreciate help with this.

    Thank you!

  • Closing "Firefox prevented this page automatically reloading" allows the auto-recharges. or continue to deny, but without informing you?

    In Options/Advanced/general Options, that I 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' selected.

    However there are some cases - for example, when a page has me 'pending' temporarily when the site is too busy ("we're going to keep you in the queue and will warn you if the website is available"), with the "Firefox prevented this page automatically reloading" bar appears in the upper part.

    If I left the bar remain without any intervention on my part, can the page REALLY let me know when the site is available? Or how about if I click Close (X) on the bar, which in fact disappear. Is Firefox and then allowing the page reload, or is it always block but just to remove the notification that it is done? (A third choice, by clicking the "Authorize" button is essentially useless in this case because it just instantly reappears.)

    Bottom line, I strive to make sure the page that's too busy REALLY can let know me when it is available, without having to change all of the global settings.

    If you do not click allow, Firefox will ignore a metatag to refresh as follows in order to reload the page every 30 seconds:

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="30">

    But as you point out, by clicking on allow made that immediately reload the page and the same triggers InfoBar again. One of the many reasons that this feature is more trouble that it's worth.

    If you leave the display bar or if you 'x' of the bar, the scripts can always reload the page. In other words, this function does NOT stop something similar to the following to reload the page every 60 seconds:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.setTimeout(function(){window.location.reload()}, 60000);
    </script>

    So what is happening on the page in question depends on how it is designed.

  • Placed in a Muse edge files do not work correctly and interactivity of the animation is gone

    Hello

    I just added a few files dashboard on my site from Muse via the .oam files edge creates when you publish. It is worth noting that during the preview in a browser via Adobe Edge, all the animations worked flawlessly - both in their real animations and interactivity.

    While working at the Muse, the first animation works well (although load slowly) in an excerpt from Muse, but the click to open a link action I added to this animation does not work. (Interactivity is part).

    The second animation that I did does not at all in the preview of Muse. It shows a picture, but nothing happens and seems to the interactivity went as well (this is a passage from the mouse to enable playback of a symbol element and a simple click to go to a link within the animation code).

    When previewing in my browser, several things happen: in Safari, the first animated film works, but no interactivity disappeared, just as it was in the preview of Muse. It goes the same for the second animation.

    When previewing in Firefox, the animations appear not at all. Ditto for Chrome. The image of the poster I put on Board will not even appear.

    No idea why this is happening? I built these animations that are an integral part of my web design and I'm afraid that I won't be able to use if 1) they don't work properly and 2) that they don't even show up!

    Help, please! You can find the test version of the page, I'm talking to: http://www.kristinepaulsenphotography.com/2015testsite/

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    -Kristine

    Custom code that has been added to the div 'extreme' is not valid and prevents the execution of JavaScript on the page. Remove or fix this code and your page works perfectly.

  • I can't drag to the next page after placing my dps edge animation

    I've created an animation on board and it was exported in a file .oam. I placed it in dps (size full page) and even if he plays well I can't slip between the pages.

    Initially I thought rather than to use the animation to the size of the whole page I could use it smaller so I'd be able to drag the area outside of the animated object. My problem is that the background of the page is a color gradient and that I failed to export my movie with a background transparent I need to configure the background on the edge also. This leaves me with the problem of how navigate to the next page?

    IM new on Board (as you can probably) so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hey Ross,

    Currently there is a bug when using DPS where it will not erase the image of the poster of the composition and the rest in the background when playing DPS. Your animation play automatically? If so, I have a solution for you.

    If you set your image of the poster to transparent and transparent Stadium, the animation will play on a transparent background. Create a 1 x 1 transparent png and import it into your composition of EA. In the publishing settings, set this PNG file to your image of the poster.

    Also make sure your color from the scene the alpha value of 0%.

    Publish and you should be good to go.

    Regarding the impossibility to swipe, animated compositions import in the form of "Overlays of Web" which means the overlay in the most literal sense; they are placed on top of your publication, so no interactivity you may interfere with the actions of your publication created in code. You can opt to disable interactivity in the Panel of the web to ID card overlay, even if this may defeat the purpose of your publication set. It seems that in your case if you are able to get transparency floor works that could address some of the problems you had.

  • z index, movement edge animation back div... is it possible?

    I would like to move an edge behind a div animation in an html page (dashboard animation is superimposed on the div, with a high negative margin css value).

    I tried with this code, but not works (is not possible to click on the links in the animation of edge located behind / overlay to the div):

    #menu {z-index: 2 ;}}

    #Stage {margin-top:-40px; z-index: 1 ;}}

    < div id = 'menu' >
