  InDesign on Mac with 10.8 CS6 have problems with links. All links to other files need to be updated when you open a file, although absolutely nothing has changed for linked files.

  In fact, we noticed that there also seems to be something wrong with the timestamps:
  If we open the news via the MAC finder to a file (.psd for example) which is linked to one of our indesign files, it has a certain date of creation.
  If we then switch to the Indesign file that we just opened in which we had to update all the links and open information to exactly the same file looked at us in the finder, another creation date is indicated. So there also seems to be a mistake here (hope it is clear what I mean).

  Our network we are excluding the error cannot be "re-enacted". We have created several test files in Indesign (simple white page with a link to a .psd file which is also used in one of the allegedly defective files) and opened on different MACs with different versions of the OS over the past few days/weeks, but unfortunately files open without notifications or errors.

  Just as a background: a few months ago the problem seems to occur between MACs with different OS, 10, 6-10, 8 first. A file that was created on a MAC 10.6 could not be opened without updating all the links on a 10.8 Mac is why we've updated everything to 10.8. The error will not occur for about 2-3 weeks but then reoccured again. ?

• CS6 Versions are still available on Windows CC subscriptions?

  We have been every Mac in the past and drag our feet on Mountain/Lion Lion... so we are always on the CS6 versions with our CC subscription.

  We just bought a new Windows computer to use After Effects and Premier Pro.  When to raise creative cloud on the Windows machine, only see us versions CC of the software and do not see the CS6 versions as we do on our Mac CC subscription window.

  Because we want to share projects between our Mac and Windows computers edition we both want to be the CS6 for now.  Is there a way to get the Windows CS6 software with our CC subscription on the Windows machine?

  To install CS6 of subscription, please follow the steps:

  1. go to https://creative.adobe.com/ and sign in with your Adobe Id and password

  2. Select download top center

  3. Select the product you want to download

  4. from the version, select the product for CS6 and click Download

  Adobe Announces the new Creative Cloud CC, they said that we will be able to continue to download and install older cs6 versions as the new versions CC.

  I wanted a really fresh and clean, installation and, before installing the new versions CC, I went through and manually deleted all my apps CS6 (from my Creative Cloud CS6 subscription) and then used the Cleaner Adobe app to clean my system and to prepare for a new facility.

  Now, I am facing a problem that I can't find a way to download and install older versions of CS6.

  I had the same problem, the solution is (maybe) - change of browser!

  I get the old 'files' 'Apps' 'Learn' with Google Chrome/Comodo Dragon. When I go to the opera - no problem, the new page 'Files' 'Download Center' CC 'Learn' works perfectly.

  Can be (old?) cookies or something else?

  Browser test switch and it might work!

  I tried to restore my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop to the factory setting.  I pressed F8 then selected repair and then Dell Factory Image Restore.  Used to format hard drive.  He formatted the hard drive and then he restored the system.  Suddenly, a small window pops up without any details, but saying "error".  I restarted the laptop, it entered into Startup Repair mode.  But even once showed error "operating system version is incompatible with startup repair".  I don't have my windows CD/DVD.  Although the windows sticker is still on the laptop.  Please advise me how to install the system on the laptop so I can use the same.  Please note that I am in Gurgaon (India).

  You can certainly go back to the version of CS6. Just uninstall the current version (only not trashy) and launch the Desktop application. From the menu filters, select Archive or previous Version and you will get the option to install CS6 there...
