Registration key for the new installation of Windows 8
I had to reinstall my Windows 8. I bought two copies way back for $40 each and have the registration code for both sent to me by Microsoft in an e-mail message. The first I tried to use it says it had expired? The other, they said it was used on another PC. Well, it had been used on the machine I had to re - install on. I have been authorized to install with this key, but I figured once again, that it is used on another computer.
They suggest that, if this is the reason why, contact them by phone by giving Installation ID. I live in Thailand and not to use the phones as rather deaf at the age of 80 years and have no idea of what is Installation ID.
I'm really just a question if there is any other way I can give MS the information they need, such as electronic mail. Tell them that it is in the same PC?
Any help to clarify this and give me an honest man once again, very much appreciated.

PS I have the original emails give me the registration codes.

Portege Z930 - 14 X - need key for the new installation of Windows 7
Hello
our company bought a Toshiba Portege Z930 - 14 X, and it is necessary to do a clean install of Windows 7.
Unfortunately there is no key working Windows 7 can be found anywhere on the unit.
I read the installation key, but the key is not supposed to be activated, so does not work for a clean install. There is usually a sticker of license at the bottom of the device, but this laptop has nothing.
So, where can I find this Windows 7 key?
Kind regards

If you want to use a clean Windows system, you must purchase the MS Windows disk containing the serial key.
Toshiba laptops are preinstalled with Toshiba image containing the OEM version of the Windows system and drivers. This image is already enabled. The series key isn t necessary. -

News of connection fails for the new installation of Windows 7
I just got a Lenovo Thinkcentre this morning and I carefully walked the first windows to connect. I put my password and checked every box because there is no way to see when I put. I put in an indication of password. I continued and continues. After going through the rest of windows, I got on the desk, and applied Windows updates. When it was finished, I rebooted the computer.
I can not connect to the computer using the information I carefully typed in at the beginning. This is the second time that this is happening so I know I've been very careful. I was unable to save the last computer and I wrote something wrong chalked it up to me, so I reformatted it. What could go wrong? I tried "Admin" as user name and I tried I got in the beginning of the name of the computer.

Try to reinstall Windows and configure the account again, and after reaching the office, create a backup account.
In addition, for security reasons, enable the administrator account.
Reinstall Windows 7:
Using the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7
Step 1
Restart the ThinkCentre and repeatedly press the "F11" key like start the computer to the top.
Step 2
Watch a message on reboot telling you press F11 to access the product recovery program. Quickly, press the "F11" key when you see the message. If you do not see the message, you do not have a recovery partition on your hard drive and must instead use recovery discs. Once you enter the recovery mode, either by pressing 'F11' or booting from a recovery disk, the ThinkCentre shows main recovery screen.
Step 3Follow the prompts to choose your recovery options. Use the settings by default unless you want to customize the recovery. You can choose options such as full recovery ',' "Content factory" or "Restore my hard drive to the original state of the plant," according to the particular ThinkCentre model.
Step 4Insert new disks when you are prompted if you restore DVDs.
Step 5Click 'Yes' when prompted to restart the computer. From this point, the recovery process is completely automatic. Your computer restarts several times, and the whole process takes sseveral minutes or more. Once installation is complete, Windows displays the configuration for a new user screen, as if the computer comes out of the box.
Step 6Complete the installation of Windows by entering in your language, regional settings, network settings and the Windows user name. You may also enter your Windows product key, which is on the DVD provided with the system, or on a sticker on the computer.

Don't know password for the new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate on VmWare Fusion
I bought Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and installed on my MAC OS X machine in VmWare Fusion of an image file provided by the seller of Windows 7. However, when I start the merger, there is a 'user' set up account, and it asks for a password. Typing in anything doesn't work, or 'guest', 'user' or 'password '. So I can't past the login screen.
What can I do?
That was my mistake, and I 'found' the password trying my MAC password. This was extracted automatically, or if I entered during installation without remembering, I don't know. In all cases, it is resolved.
I can't mark my own reply as 'Reply', nor can I delete this question :-(

The Council supports Windows 7, you can get the drivers here (the chipset drivers should be the first drivers you install after installing the operating system.)

Original title: connect Windows 7 to the output of user profiles?
I want to reinstall Windows
My user profiles are on a separate HARD diskIs it possible to connect the new install of Win 7 to these existing profilesOr I'll create all new profiles and just move all the files manually? You can change the registry so that it points to your old profile folder. However, I suspect that this would cause problems because the SID and many registry keys would be incorrect for the current installation. I would like to move the folders manually.

Logical disk partition not recognized in the New Installation of Windows
Hello. I would appreciate someone to give me any advice. I don't know if the problem I encounter is an oversight on my part, but it was not something that I anticipated.
To give a bit of background, until last week, I was running a Windows 7 system on my computer which included three hard drives (4 TB, 2 TB, and a smaller disk). The 4 TB drive included my boot drive with Windows on a partition of 2 TB and then the unallocated space has been transformed into a new partition in disk management, received the drive letter G and was used for long term backup of data.
Since then, I built a new computer and installed a new version of Windows 7 on a small SSD. During this process, I have not all disks connected to the machine (except the DVD player) so that there is no possibility of installation of Windows, do something for these readers I didn't (I got burned by this time long ago when you reinstall Windows 95, which makes me just feel old). After the whole installation process was performed and the new version of Windows has been working well, I opened the machine and plugged the drive 4 TB and 2 TB, assuming that Windows did not recognize them when I started.
When I started in Windows, Windows does indeed recognize the two drives and assign drive letters. But in the case of the car of 4 TB, he acknowledges that the partition containing my old boot drive. No drive letter is assigned to the secondary partition. When I go to disk management, it shows all of the remaining spaces as unallocated space, but seems not yet quite recognize space completely in the way he would if I'd created directly. For example, if I right click in that box, I don't get the normal options to create a new Simple Volume. Everything on this menu is grayed out except properties and help.
So I guess I have two questions. (Leaving aside the possibility of a hardware problem), was I wrong to assume that a hard drive divided into two partitions could be transferred from a Windows machine to another? I honestly thought that no matter where no matter what Windows 7 machine would recognize the two drives, but maybe I'm missing something fundamental.
Two and more important still, there advice for access to the data on this drive?
Hello
A problem that could happen is that the disk partition has security setting so that the profile of the user that created it would be able to access it, and seeing that you are trying to access from a new profile may not not allow you to access
To access these files, you can try to boot from the old hard drive manually to change the setting of the partition or simply manually move the files and delete the partition.
To start from the old disk hard restart have the hard drive is plugged in, restart the computer and while it is booting F12 key to select the boot device, after that, select the old hard disk and access them normally.
hope this has helped.

After the new installation of windows installation
Hello
My computer has receantly had virus problems and I want to do a new installation of windows. After I do this can I reinstall my copy of creative suite and use the code provided to or he'll tell me its already in use since technically, I did use it once already? If Yes is it possible around it? I really don't want to drop $800 again just to reload windows on my computer.
Thanks for any help!
Disable your existing installation of Creative Suite for free activation.
Open any application e.g. Photoshop then help > Deactivate. That will disable the entire suite.
Reinstall Windows.
Reinstall the Creative Suite and it reactivates during installation.
