  I am currently using Apex 4.2 and I want to know if you still have to import images, CSS and Javascript files, respectively, in a workspace (like the shared components) to use them in an Application? Alternatively, they could be referenced in a directory on the file system? I'm still not familiar with CSS or Javascript technology and I'm trying to find out as much as possible about how to use and where Apex can do. All comments gratefully received,

  Since you're using the EPG you will not be able to reference all files directly in your operating system.  You can load in XDB using FTP, WebDav or PL/SQL location.  The PL/SQL method is described in these posts:

  I don't know if there is any benefit from their download in XDB compared to the APEX workspace.  Guess it would make sense that you had a file that you wanted to be referenced by more than one workspace and do not want to download the file in each workspace.

• Misunderstand CSS Layout and padding

  I'm having serious problems of understanding the CSS layout techniques and the impact of padding and hoped I could get help.

  Here are some pages that show examples of what I do "get". The first offer padding causing the layout to look right. The second has no filling but don't have as I expect.   HTML5 is already used in some of the themes in Oracle APEX 5. (namely HTML5 themes introduced in APEX 4.2 + universal theme in APEX 5.0)

  Learning HTML5 and JavaScript, there are a lot of online resources like this:

  Also, you will find good books for HTML5 and JavaScript. In addition, having learned HTML and JS, you can navigate on jQuery and CSS tutorials like these two are also needed to develop applications APEX 5. • Need help with CSS Fonts and AP Divs. (separate issues)

  Hi all

  I have two BIG problems that I just can't understand at all. No matter what I do, nothing works for eith er from these two very different problems.

  I am running Windows7 and using Dreamweaver MX and CS4 (cannot afford to upgrade).

  A problem

  Colors of the fonts, size and Styles. I ALWAYS end up resorting to MX to solve these problems. I need fonts of different colors for the various paragraphs, I also need to sizes and styles. But change always changes. I went in the CSS panel and tried to change it, but no luck. I tried the option "Compound (depending on your selection)", but not chance it. The problem is that CS4 CSS Forces on the reguardless of the user, if they need it or not. The only thing I need CSS for is Accordians, Flash, Drop menus, etc. But when it comes to simple, flat, HTML I have more control as I do in MX. I ALWAYS start a new project as a file HTML but CSS is automatically applied to the entire site.

  What Miss me?

  I need to remove MX, but not until I find this CSS problem.

  Two problem

  It is nothing new to most here, I'm sure. The demand for Flash Pop Ups that convert a banner (Style Yahoo) has increased and demand has flooded my ears of the customers. The largest is UGAI. Who has site was created in MX in large part due to the above problem. Advertisers want flash ads full Page that are small and pop up when you fly over its advertising HTML normal or that fills a space and plays Flash runs and then uses their Flash banner to reveal the entire site again. And they are willing to pay BIG for this seemingly simple feature.

  How to make this work? Dreamweaver allows layers/overlays which I can apply transparent in Flash. Also known as a "Div. AP" but these layers keep jumping around. It's even worse when seen in different resolutions. I can get the overlays work perfect on MySpace 1.0 profiles, but not in Dreamweaver or manually via Notepad. And no matter if I'm in MX or CS4.

  PS: I spent MX to CS4 soon as CS4 came out. CSS has proved to be a pain, and now I have to learn CMS (Joomla) as well. All on my own.

• NoScript installed accidentally, cannot get rid of it and JavaScript has been deactivated, even though it says that it is enabled - help!

  I accidentally installed NoScript when you try to remove the ads/pop-ups. Now it is at the origin of the problems on sites that I use regularly and I can't get rid of it.   I guess you checked if the Tablet has been properly connected to the docking keyboard.

  Have you tried to unplug and plug the docking again?
  Note: there is a latch on the left you have to move and in order to remove the tablet.

  Perhaps there is a connection problem.

  Have you noticed the same problem on a preinstalled OS from Toshiba?
  As far as I know Satellite P500 are always delivered with Windows 7 OS provided with your P500?

  Anyway, in your case I would try updating the BIOS. You can get the latest version on the Toshiba site.

  If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

  Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.

  I have a few questions about SSL certificates and CSS.

  I have 2 servers web CSS 11501 and 3, certificates SSL how do I need?

  I want to configure the CSS as active - active, is - this supported by using the SSL acceleration module? If this is the case, is it configured as a standalone CSS. The documentation refers only to configurations using the single module and 2 modules in the CSS even.

  And a clarificacion: the term Backend in the CSS SSL config refer to servers on a different subnet (in our case physically separated). Our config is 2 FW-> 2-> 3 Web servers-> backend CSS 2 FW-> 6 (app and DB) back-end servers. Do I have reason to assume that the Backend check this backend? (This may seem like a silly question, but documentation has confused me)

  Active/active means that the two CSS manages the portion of the traffic. If at any time you have the traffic through the two CSS.

  You cannot change the source code in Muse or it connects to the databases and responds pretty well to your question: work with PHP stuff and manual coding you need Dreamweaver.
