  • (Recent) YouTube HTML5 Player problems

Hello. Recently, playing YouTube content using the HTML5 player has become impossible due to reading problems (audio/video are restless, loading content becomes extremely slow, browser stops responding).

    Reading with Chrome, no problem.
Return to playback of Flash, no problems.
The browser cache has been cleared, does not resolve the issue.

It therefore seems to be a problem with one of the latest updates of Firefox or maybe some of the recent changes on the site of YT.
    Any ideas?

  • AutoPlay in YouTube playlists doesn't work with HTML5, it works with extensions disabled

I noticed that lately turn on autoplay in YouTube playlists does not work when you use the HTML5 player. Instead of jumping to the next video, the video finished playing and instead of the "replay" button, there is a normal play button, if I can play normally, but if I want to go to the next video in the list I have to do it manually. I do not have this problem with Flash Player or if I start Firefox in safe mode.

I would like to fix this without having to reset Firefox, however.

    Any suggestions?

  • Play HTML5 video with JavaScript does not hide the overlay dimming video

I googled this problem and found nothing useful and also checked the area of support here and still nothing. I'm creating a webpage with HTML5 video. I made a layer with the video object that is hidden with CSS, until the user clicks on a link. When the user clicks on the link, I use a JavaScript function to display and play the HTML5 video object. Works fine except that Firefox keeps the overlay in place play button while playing my video! If I click on the overlay, the video stops. Then if I click again, the overlay disappears and the video resumes playback.

I realize there are solutions that can be pirated. But it is certainly a bug that the rest overlay in place after the start of the video via a JavaScript command. I hope that this problem finds its way to the right people at Mozilla for resolution.

  • HTML5 video: video freezes regularly while only audio continues to play. Firefox 12, Linux, Centos 5 up to date.

whenever I find a YouTube video on my linux (Centos 5.8, completely up to date) using Firefox12 machine, YouTube still offers for me html5 instead of Flash video. It would be nice, but intermittently the video stops (while the audio continues to play). I click on the (I don't know how it's called) cursor to the current position and the video will move again. until he paused next time, anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.
I don't know why he delivers html5 instead of flash, I get on my laptop using centos 6 and firefox12 flash video. Is there a way to configure Firefox to get flash instead? If this isn't the case, I would be grateful for help when the video component setting stopping.

I wanted to know if FF3 supports ALL the features of HTML5. I know it takes in charge some because I can view some HTML5 websites, however, I don't really know what is degrading on these sites and what is not.

I've probably never will modernize FF until Ubiquity is scope. Which is probably never so I will probably never improve.

  • BB10 - HTML5 audio/video - stoped working

    Hello.

I have worked with HTML5 audio and video in one of my stories and it worked until now, but it seems no longer works after that I updated the BB10 Dev Alpha to OS version 10.0.6.545. Someone else has experienced this problem so far?

Add some practical information: BB10 WebWorks SDK 1.0.1.8 running (beta), bbUI.js 0.9.4 ('next' validation of July 20, 2012)

Hi Adam. Thanks for your reply.

I already thought about it. I needed to restart the device to make it work again. I'm reviewing the file system and if there is a video or even audio file, it should be played using the corresponding media HTML5 element. Seems the same question as for the NFC that fails at any time, and you cannot activate it (if left) or even turn it off (if performed).

For codecs, you have everything summary that is compatible with the BB10 so far and in the future?

  • What is your HTML5 BB10 Office as development workflow?

What is your HTML5 BB10 Office as development workflow?

The amount of time it takes to perform the debugging/save/construction/installation/reboot/test is too long.

There was such a thing as emulator ripple and I see now Chrome has the development tools Mobile http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/developertools/mobile/ which is in a similar field.

It seems that all that really need to happen is that some responsible, special *.js files to emulate each gross API platforms (so there is no JS error during execution of the API).  They don't even have to implement the function in a first time, just provide an API stub, logs the call of API, params and message "not implemented by emulation API".

Then a large part of the application could be developed on the desktop before you need to install it on the Simulator or a real device.

This request is so what exactly is your workflow that allows you to make the most of the field work in the application.

We talk to the era of today (June 2014), WebWorks 2.1, Cordova 3.5.x etc...

A lot of my development tends to be in the desktop browser (e.g. Chrome; for its great developer tools.) Especially when it comes to the UI and others. Really, until I'm leveraging Cordova (incl. WebWorks, Phonegap, etc..) API, all my work is done there.

Cordoba has a mastery of 'serve' which will host in fact your content on a web server. So if your config.xml file is pointing to this web server (instead of the local index.html file) you can just use 'cordova serve' to start the server and 'cordova prepare' to update the server with all changes made to its files.

In this way, just run you this command on your PC, refresh (restart) the app and the new changes are turned on without requiring continuous re - installed.

There is information on it here:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/v2_1/preview_your_app_from_cmd_line.html

And note that 'prepare webworks' will update the content, which allows a quick refreshment.

  • problem with html5 Input types

    Hello world!

I use certain types of entries HTML5 but 2 problems at the moment:

    • the type of entry number works fine, except that it does not allow to add negative numbers (of, no simple way). y at - it an option to include a negative sign key in the keyboard "numbers"?
    • the entry of date type also works well, except that I can't put a default value. tried with different date formats, but still get an empty value.

    Thank you!

OK - I forgot to mention that you can try to use the phone type for a 'digital' field that accepts a '-' character until we have this problem.

  • How can I convert my 100 games flash (actionscript 2.0) in HTML5 now that swiffy is dead?

Unfortunately I didn't swiffy would be killed until August.  I have a lot of games I built using flash with actionscript 2.0, and I do not know now how to export to HTML5 without swiffy.  Someone at - he found a solution?  Adobe has a solution for us?  Singular video showing how convert a very basic adobe HTML5 flash ad is no help to those who have made the beautiful games and complex using flash with actionscript 2.0.

I'm excited about learning all these new languages like actionscript 3.0 which is not at all compatible with actionscript 2.0, but I have to convert my current games in HTML5 first before you spend another few years learning a new language.

I didn't adobe address this problem that many people, but I found an application called flaexporter that only works on flash cc.  I don't have flash cc, and it seems not available for download as a "past/old version" of my adobe creative app download.  Is there a way to download this older cc flash application, so I can export all my games to HTML5?  I don't want to lose years of game development just because swiffy disappeared.

I have the cs adobe complete with all applications to update software including cc lively.  Unfortunately, animate cc seems unnecessary, because when I try to open one of the games I put years of work into, he destroys this game completely.  When I publish the game, it does not at all.

I create games for education and had used swiffy and flash because they were easy for a designer like me to use.  I'm not a high level programmer, but I've always been able to create and edit flash.

1 animate cc told me that only a3.0 files can be imported and still work.  So, how to export actionscript 2.0 to actionscript 3.0 using the flash c6s that always works on my laptop?  I don't see the option export for actionscript 3.0 in flash c6s, and I do not see the option "successfully" import ActionScript 2.0 cc animate.  Is there something I'm missing here?   Someone at - he found a solution to this problem?

    2. instead of trying to figure out how to export a2.0 a3.0, just so that I can open it to animate cc, then export to HTML5, is there an easier way - similar to swiffy, who has ignored all these steps your time?

If anyone has an answer, thank you!

    Please do not cross-post.

  • Captivate 9 - HTML5 content does not load

Using Captivate v9.0.1.324. I have a few projects that does not load in a browser when published under the title of HTML5. When you try to load the index.htm page you see the loading icon (circle of rotation) and that's all. I tested with different browsers and on different computers and still have the same problem. The projects work very well in the SWF, and there is no errors/notices in the HTML5 Tracker.

Unfortunately, the site which we use to review allows only projects Captivate to publish as HTML5 in a .zip package. Because the project never loads examiners are unable to make the remarks. I googled and searched in the Adobe forums and have not found any solutions.

Any suggestions on how to detect the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Some features such as the interactions of training will play only from a server, but apparently, it is not the case here.

It could be a corrupted object somewhere, or more than one. Do you have question slides? Do you use training interactions?

The difficulty is to find the 'guilty '. A possible workflow is to hide a large number of slides, publish and test again, then gradually add the slides more until you bump into the cause of your problems. I guess you used the project, Tracker HTML?

  • Browser not finding css for HTML5 reactive

    Hello world

I use Robohelp 2015 and raised a sensitive project HTML5.  It has been working great until today.  For some reason, Robohelp has decided to make my life miserable by not including not not the css Azure_Blue.

It used to look like this...

    scrsht_1.png

But now it looks like this...

    scrsht_2.png

No idea how to solve this problem and why Robohelp decided to do?  Do not forget that I didn't take one thing with regard to css.

    Thank you.

I fixed it just by going to the configuration set folder and right clicked on Azure_Blue, pod/screen output selected import then navigated to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 2015\RoboHTML\ResponsiveHelpExt\Layouts\en_US and imported the Azure_Blue.slz file.  Had to remove the Azure_Blue existing in the presentation of the screen folder and renamed the Azure_Blue1 imported in Azure_Blue.  Recompiled and everything is good.  Don't understand why everything has been deleted in the first place.

  • Help with moving from Flash to HTML5 in Animate

OK, I'm not a flash expert or anything like that. Last year or the year of before I wanted to find a way to make the widgets of countdown to my book blog that was counting the days until the release date of a book. Once that date has hit it would stop the countdown and say now available! I managed to create one through some flash tutorials and some great people at the FlashKit community... and I created a model that I use now create them when I want to... After a few months, I decided to try to find a way to make sure they would appear on mobile devices and I discovered Swiffy to convert them in html5, and in turn that makes mobile friendly. I have done this since then and last night I went to Swiffy to use it and I saw that they are stopping on 1 July.

I'm trying to figure out how to reconfigure my 'model' that I use to make my widgets little count down to make html5 and I'm so lost because as I said I'm not all that well versed in javascript flash or even... I tried to convert it into the control panel and it comes it messes everything... Is there someone who can help me to convert to html5? What to watch? The Actionscript code?

    Help!

    Thank you very much!!
