  I have a Clevo P170HMx which is a cell phone game impressive.

  Probably the only thing I don't like is that my battery is always 100%.  I used my laptop plugged into an electrical outlet.

  In normal circumstances as soon as the lithium-ion battery is full, a properly functioning charger will stop the charge and will only engage when the battery voltage drops to a low level. Most of the users do not remove AC power, and this practice is safe.

  The latest Lithium-ion batterires have a limited number of Discharg/charge cycles.

  You can create a detailed report on the State of the battery to double check the battery status.

  1. go to Start / all programs / Accessories. Click on the command prompt and select run as administrator.

  2 in the command prompt window, copy / paste the following command.

  powercfg-energy-output %userprofile%\desktop\energy-report.html

  Press ENTER.

  Wait for the command to complete (usually about 2 minutes).

  This create a file named energy - report.html and place it on your desktop.

  3 go to your desktop and double-click the file to open.

  Scroll to the bottom for the battery: battery information section.

  You will see:

  Rated xxxxx

  Xxxxx full last Charge

  (Where xxxxx is a number)

  4 to calculate the amount of full Charge capacity left in the battery split the value of the last Charge full rated capacity and multiply by 100.

  For this example , use the following numbers.

  Nominal capacity 4400

  Last full 2937

  Calculator enter 2937 and divide by 4400.

  Multiply the multipliez le resultat result by 100 , then press =.

  The result will be 66,75

  This means you have 66,75% of the nominal capacity of the battery.

  This suddenly started across all projects, including those that I worked on for centuries without any problem.  Everything else seems to be exactly the same in other applications than ever before, PP only is affected.  The film is all progressive (I rarely encounter interlaced nowadays), prores HQ 25 fps, usually 1080, but also 720.  Output to the screen, through MXO2 mini is fine and has not changed at all.  I can't think of updates recently, certainly not in the last week, when it started.

  It's really weird and obviously wrong, but I can't begin to find how to solve this problem, after exhausting all my standard corrections (settings in the application hardware, OS, etc. all checked and rechecked.  Made restarts - without result).

  My system is:

  MacPro 5.1 6 hearts 3.33 GHz

  12 GB OF RAM

  GTX285 Mac GPU - CUDA 5.0.45, GPU driver 1.3.4.0 (295.00.05f03)

  OSX 10.7.5

  PP CS 6.0.2

  MXO2 mini - latest drivers etc.

  Well, I think I have fixed it but any the wiser for why I got this problem.

  Fixed by upgrading my OS to OSX 10.8.3 (always experience trembling nerve), after my startup etc. disk cloning.  Then I updated to the latest CUDA, reinstalled my Matrox drivers and crossed my fingers!  Fortunately, everything seems fine now.  I can only think that the problem was, perhaps, something to do with CUDA, because the only time where I never had a problem has been using PP and reading less than 100% scale.

  Yes, it may be that sensitive. You can make it less sensitive in Control Panel > Active Protection.

  Another alternative would be to place your movies on an SD card / USB and let run out there.

  Latest versions of OS and software: I spent hours and hours trying all the formats available in Premiere Pro and it is a lot of time hacking, but maybe someone here knows what setting should I use to get a format reasonably good video quality in quicktime mp4 or mov format. I can get a good quality movie, no problem, but the size is 500 MB, which is not accepted for the site that I write. They need to 100 MB or less or the file is not accepted. Pleas help because I need to do this every few weeks and same combat bi-monthly really gets very old... and so I'm in the process...

  I'll assume you mean 100 MB, no Mo. I don't know how long is your project, is not possible to say what you can end up with quality.

  Definitely use h. 264. Try the screen wide sd YouTube preset suitable for your video footage (pal or ntsc). In the video settings, set 2 pass vdr. At the bottom of the window, you can see an estimated file size. If it's too much, reduce the target and maximum bit rate until you get an acceptable number. Encode and see if the quality is acceptable to you.

  You could also try a preset 720 p, reducing flow if necessary, but not knowing the length of your movie, I can't guarantee a good result. If the movie is short, it could be very well.

  Hi, I have a 4 K TV and I'd like to see my content 4K from a HARD drive on this screen, but my video components even if I take a USB3.0 port and the HARD drive.   What version of Premiere Elements and what operating system?

  If you work with elements of first 14/14.1, then your answer is in setting the quality slider. So you're in 14 with the default middle point of the slider quality = 100 Mbps. move the cursor to the parameter small = 30 Mbit/s.

  I have the first items 13.1 installed on a Dell XPS 8700 with 10 Home Windows (64-bit), Intel Core processor i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60 GHz with 8 GB of RAM.

  When I add an audio file (MP3 or M2TS) and then insert it to the timeline, the file will play only 3 seconds or less before stopping automatically.

  I have always run SmartFix and make the work area before playing.

  • In the Expert workspace, import your source media with the help of add media/files and folders.

  Your files that you see 50i designated are not 50 frames per second. The 50i is 50 frames per second, which equals 25 frames per second interlaced (25i).

  Once you drag the first video on the timeline, new note if there is an orange line on the content of the timeline, not the orange line (stretching) running through audio and video clips.

  When I used the clips of 1080i from your camera in my Premiere Elements project, I came across a large number of problems that have not remedied by applying Options for interlacing preview fields. But all this "ironed out" export when I selected the export parameters progressive who essentially deinterlaced export.
