  Oracle has had for a while... I think in 8i there was an option of cube, but in 10 g + they are certainly very powerful. 11 g the creation and maintenance of OLAP cubes is integrated through the updating of the view materialized with the relational tables, they are based on, so they are maintained automatically.

  A "mapping" is a term of olap product management which means that the cube is not mapped to the level the fact sheet. For example, suppose you have tables like this

  Suppose you want to analyze the data only at the level of the MONTH and more. In this case, you must set a time of hierarchy which includes levels MONTHS->->-> ALL_TIME YEAR QUARTER and you would need to define a join condition between SALES_FACT and TIME of the form

  SALES_FACT.DAY_OF_SALE = TIME.DAY
  

  This is sometimes called a "mapping" because it maps data in the AW to a higher level than what is stored in the fact (for example, the MONTHS instead of DAYS).

  When I delete a cube or a dimension in Warehouse Builder - then I'm in the Explorer project in Design Center and control center more.
  But when I run the active query catalog (select * from ALL_OLAP2_AW_CUBES) to list the cubes in my analytic workspace, I can still see "deleted" cubes. That's why I can't create (deploy) new cube with the cube name previously deleted and so on (changing dimension connected to the 'deleted' cube is impossible as well). I already emptied bin.

  Hi Peter

  You can try the cube from OWB Control Center Manager, this should get the deleted object. (You might get some errors, but should be allowed to take the step of deployment). Then try to deployment.

• How to set the join in the physical layer between the cube and the relational table

  I have a data aggregated in essbase cube. I would like to supplement the information contained in the cube with data from relational source.

  In my case, I'm trying to reach the risk dimension in the cube based on risk_type_code (Gen3 members), with risk_type_code in relationship table dt_risk_type.
  
  How can I create this join?

• After the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 games installed in my laptop (Chainz, Cubis and Bejeweled, etc.) have bars on each side when displayed in full screen.

  I have a laptop Acer Aspire with a screen 16:9 wide (15.6 "), it has the latest graphic drivers ATI and all operating system updates.  After the upgrade to W7 (free upgrade with the purchase of the laptop) everything works wonderfully except all the games installed now not displayed in full screen, I get black bars on both sides, they used for Vista, but not with W7.

  I already tried different settings in the games options, administrator, resolutions screen different, being run in maximized 'Vista' and 'Run' mode of the file properties dialog box shortcut and .exe.  This happened without any security program installed that is not a factor.

  I am at a loss.

  This is to maintain the ratio l / h. It is how the images stretch. ATI no longer has the opportunity to play with the proportions for the sort of stuck like that unless you can find in your version of ATI Catalyst. It is in fact full screen as opposed to windowed mode, but it does not cover the entire screen.

  You can try different resolutions within the application to see if it will actually make your apps full screen to use the entire screen. That's all, remains to be done. I don't know why ATI has decided to exclude this option because some people hate the black bars or hate the stretched images.

  However, my requirement is to have additive and not additive in the same cube, measures, as you can do with cubes MSAS.

  Is this possible with Oracle OLAP cubes?

  I see you mentioned you want to make in the same cube. What is a difficult requirement?

  If this isn't the case, you may want to explore using 2 cubes where the first cube do distinct count. The second

  cube can have your aggregation you want and a calculated measure that references the first cube

  kinda like a cube considered. The OLAP option did a good job supporting cubes and multiple clients

  set up what is called the cubes that reference other cubes of the basis of the declaration. The SQL code that question that the cubes can view (s)

  be attached so that you can select a plan of several cubes SQL query in a single query.

  I had a lot of luck with my last question, I thought I'd ask for general information in my next venture. I have two similar cubes. It has dimensions:

  Some scenarios are manually entered into the first cube, forecast and budget for example.
  
  The other has dimensions
  
  Accounts (not all the same, but those who are in this cube is also in the first cube, i.e. level 0 members who ARE in the two cubes have the same name)
  Periods of time (same size)
  Entities (same size)
  Scenarios (not all are the same, but who is in this cube are also in the first cube)
  Job type
  
  The second cube has several types of labor, but all the data of the first cube would be the same type of work (work Type A). Other processes to support and implement the second cube with other types of work. I need the forecast data and budget off the first cube.
  
  So, in general, where should I start import forecast data and the budget in the second of the first cube cube? Or, more precisely, what is the share technical manuals should I start reading to better achieve this goal?

  You can also watch DATAEXPORT as a way to get data - it is possible that you could come up with a more narrowly defined output as well as you can write to a table.

  Whatever you can't limit out, you can turn to come in your target with a load SQL rule.

• Setting up a Wi - Fi connection and roaming off same Airport Extreme

  I have a Wi - Fi network at home using an Airport Extreme (high cube) and two airport expresses. It works very well for the main house. But I want to get wireless to my new office located in a room adjacent to the garage. I ran the Cat5 cable to the room, bought an Airport Express and I try to connect via cable. Airport utility sees it as a new Airport Extreme, which tells me that the connections are good, but when he goes to set it up, I get a message "unexpected error". So clearly I'm something wrong, or not to do something - I don't have any idea. I can't use the wireless feature to get a signal to the new office because the walls of the House are plaster.

  Please move the new AirPort Express Terminal very close to your "main" AirPort Extreme

  Locate a short, spare Ethernet cable... no matter what length will make

  Turning off the 'main' AirPort Extreme as well as your other two airport expresses

  Restart the 'main' AirPort Extreme and to let a minute, but keep the other two airport expresses power off for now

  Restart your Mac as well

  Turn on the new Airport Express for a minute or two

  Pressed the reset button on the back of the new Express for 7-8 seconds, then release and allow a minute for the Express start slow, flashing amber light status

  Connect the short Ethernet cable from one of the three LAN <-->spare ports on AirPort Extreme 'main' on the 'O' WAN port on the AirPort Express Terminal

  Run again through the configuration

  If the Express set up correctly, it shuts down and move it to the new location at the end of the long Ethernet cable and then power back up again.  If the Ethernet cable is not working properly, the Express will work correctly.

  Then, turn on your other two AirPort Express devices.

  Individually, you may want to organize each shape selected and in the tab object, set dressing to zero. This will facilitate alignment object later.

  Insert a rectangle and duplicate by option + do swipe an offset as shown above. Duplicate this last rectangle with an option-drag that it will become your playdough for the first form of parallelogram. Select the third rectangle and then on the Format menu, choose shapes and lines: make it editable. To the four corners of the rectangle will have now taken red, which you can pull and push to get to the first form of parallelogram. Click outside the shape to dismiss the Red edit handles. When you have an approximate parallelogram shape, option + do slide once to do the opposite wall of the cube and then option-drag to another that will flip you (via the tab reorder), to make the top and then option-drag to reduce the shape of the bottom.

  At this point, you have the above exploded view. You don't have to worry when you drag the pieces together and they do not correspond exactly. Once more, you use the Format menu: shapes and lines: make editable to fine tune your editing of parallelogram in their locations next to the cube. When I did, I selected the content of all of the cube and applied 0.5 pt gray border lines, and each face of the cube is 38% opacity. Fill color for each face of the cube is optional.

  We had a problem in our test environment:

  - - - - Analog telephone

  When we on the g711 codec, both directions of appeal are ok.

  When we put the codec for g729r8, appeal from analog to IP has no problem. But for reverse, the analog phone can ring but will be disconnected after a few seconds. Before the call is disconnected, we find that the codec is "pre-ietf g729" using the command 'show call active voice brief' on the CUBE.

  The configuration of the CUBE and Router (FXS) voice is attached. Really appreciate your advice.

  It seems that the analog phone only supports pre - itf g729 format...

  Unfortunately this codec format is no longer supported on any ios...

  You can try your luck and see if this pre - itf is available on ios, but I doubt it. You will need to have them on all your dial peers.

  Us run CUBE and UCM 10.5.1 for awhile now for all voices and have problems of migration of our fax of TDM/PRI to SIP services.  Verizon does not support T.38 re-invite and we use G.729 as our favorite voice codec. Someone has a stand-alone fax machine VG224 above service migration experience to SIP using G.711 passthrough [fax or modem passthrough}?  We have 40 VG 224.  Thank you for all your help.
