  The DefaultPanel Option is only in more recent versions of TC software, I do not remember what version it appeared in, but it is there in the last TC7.1.3.  If you don't, you probably use an older version of software on your EX.

  I have a Manager configured with extension 1001 and his PA with extension 1002. The two extensions are configured in the same group of pick-up call.

  When someone calls the Manager, she can see that the line manager sounds but when she push the button to identify which called, she hears a busy tone and the IP phone displays a message that says "Temp Fail".   No matter what PickUp group they belong, do not need to be the same for the BLF pick-up function.

  But if they are in the same group, as you say: can the normal collection through the display key PickUp?

  If only change the number to work, I think you may have a problem with the DNs/Partitions. Never renamed the partition? Try to remove the Manager DN, delete the number not assigned to your server and add it again.

  You can change the order of the boxes on the subject: newtab page and drag an item on a tile that is different to pin in this position or you can remove a Web site by clicking on the close X to block this URL.

  Sorry, you have difficulties to find Speed Dial. After you install, you can drag to the left and tap the new tab at the bottom of the sidebar. With the default dialing settings, you should see the speed dial will appear in the new tab.

  On page 61, you can find information about adding dial numbers to speed up and 62 mentions how you dial. For example if you have saved your Uncle Paul as Dáil speed 3, you simply hold the button 3 to call this contact.

• Is it possible to speed dial a calling card and PIN (necessary break)? OfficeJet 4500.

  There is nothing in the instructions or help files on how to enter a telephone calling card and dial spindle. I want to enter a number like:

  By trial and error and a few conjectures, I figured out how get breaks in the fax address book. It's a Dashboard.

  Example: 1 800 555 2222 - 1-509 996 1234 it will be access code, wait two seconds, dial 1, wait a second, dial the number.

  The manual doesn't explain this. It is said to use the Redial/Pause button, which does not exist on this model. However, to set up speed dial on fax (as opposed from a PC) Control Panel, it says to hit the * key until it becomes a dash. It was my idea. On the set up the fax on the PC, you just put in dashes directly to get the breaks.

  I tried restarting and a partial anli. I went to the Sprint store that they told me they can replace the phone for a refurbed one, I told them that on this site I read that Palm concludes an agreement with Sprint to replace by a new one, as it was still under the 1 year warranty. The shop told me that they had to follow corporate protocal and he couldn't give me a new Palm Pre. :-(.  I'm not crazy got a refurbed phone.

  The other problem I encounter is that for my bellsouth.net email (I paid by internet DSL ATT) continues to give me the password text messages invalid on the phone. This has not done this before the update. I've been reading the forums and I'm assuming that Palm is working on this bug.

  I have a new HP Laser Jet MFP M127fn Pro: how to send a fax using speed dial, I entered already numbers in the address book.

  I'm embarrassed to say that I spent several hours trying to get the speed dial to work on a M127fn.  It turns out that there really no speed dial.  That's the conclusion of at least a HP tech that actually used the machine.  Another tech was able to describe a way to fax a phonebook entry, but it is quite too complicated to be called a speed dial.

  [2] press the right arrow to access the phone book.

  [3] press OK button.

  [4] use the right or left buttons to reach the desired phone book entry.

  [5] press the OK button to reveal the label for the entry, or "empty" if it is not set.

  [6] press the OK button if the element is set to display the fax or dialing options.

  [7] press FAX to initiate a fax to this phone book entry.

  My users find it much easier to have their phone numbers pasted on the machine where they can connect looking them to instead scroll through menus, for the right option.

  It seems that there is some sort of disconnect between hardware, firmware, and technical writers on this machine, because this ancient feature has been neglected, and the user guide is left to sputter on the issue.

  Figured out how to change the new speed dials.

  Press on the one you want to change.  While you're holding down, the Edit option is displayed on the right side of the screen.  Keep now and select the button change.  You then get a menu to reassign the button!

  Is not intuitive but it works.
