Current page - including URL parameters

Not sure if this is actually possible, but shaped, it was worth...

I have a search page in which I try to allow some "refine" feature, for example the removal of categories of research etc.

In an effort to reduce the amount of code, my thinking is that the best way to do this would be to take the current URL and mark just on the extra at the end parameter, for example mydomain.com/search.cfm?q=phrase & remove = catid ("BOLD" being the extra added). This method seems best to try to keep track of all the parameters - for example if the user refines the results of many times.

I tried to use #getfilefrompath (getbasetemplatepath ()) #, but this does not include existing variables and I have not been able to identify a tag that does. Pointers much appreciated!

Just remembered a function that I completely forgot, so now managed to solve my problem.

For the benefit of any person responsible for the research in the future, I used #CGI. QUERY_STRING # added at the end of the binding mydomain.cfm/search, cfm, with my new settings added later, for example - mydomain.com/search.cfm?#CGI.QUERY_STRING#&new=param

    have you just need to add & $VAR = at the end of your link

    ' link '.

    Attention to SQL injections if your going to have to check that the value of the id is valid, something like (if your using PDO):

    stored_procedure = "select user from user_db where id = ? LIMIT 1;

    sql_execute_with_param(stored_procedure, input_id);

  • How to pass the time slot to the dashboard in URL parameters

    Hi all

    Does anyone have example on how to spend the time slot to the dashboard in URL parameters?

    That's what I tried. Normally, the dashboard has timeRange as a required context, I deleted and added "startTime" and "end" like required context, so that I can spend 2 timestamps in URL, and then I created a 'extra context' called "timeRange", which calls a WCF function to create a CustomTimeRange, it works pretty well. But the problem is if I have exploration down this dashboard to a different dashboard, the slot not transmitted properly. So I guess, I was not the right way. Does anyone have an example?

    Thank you

    1 re: timeRange not spent in drilldown pages

    Please confirm that you have defined one or more entries in context "Required". If you do not, please add a (like "hostName") and re - test. It work?

    2. with 'nologin' user URL redirects to the login screen

    Yes, what is expected. With nologin user, you should always use the form http://foglight_fms:80/console/foglight_ext?viewId=system:mywcfmodule.1?hostName=myhost of the URL rather than the

    form of http://foglight_fms:80/console/page/System:mywcfmodule.1?hostname=myhost .

    It would be great if you could post a brief description of your design dashboard once you have this work. That sounds like something that the other members of the Foglight community would be very interested!

    Hi Barry

    Affecting the security attribute Access Page Protection page No. URL Access and navigate between pages using the type of the Page Management Branch (uncheck the option creates a branch using redirection page in the Wizard) will avoid this:

    No URL access -Page can not be found using a URL, but the page can be the target of a type of Page Management Branch, is not doing a URL redirect.

    It is a little more restrictive that a normal direction of the session state values cannot be positioned or erased declaratively in the branch, but is not often necessary in a several step wizard, and it's pretty simple to work round using prior processes - or post-branche or by referencing the item values directly from other pages.

  • Enkitec Toolbar... Stop the menu items of the current page of derivative

    XE Summit 4.2 11.2

    Hi all.  Question today: I am using the Enkitec toolbar in my application. and everything works fine... except...

    Ive changed the application so the I have a series of reports that point to the same page to run a number of interactive reports with different settings...   They are grouped into a number of items in the submenu.

    However, the Enkitec menu is highlighting the current page. Like all items in menu 4 are all active page (or URL active), he sets them all to the same color blue., so instead of a list of menu with all the white background, I get a menu list when they are all blue...

    So Im trying to either disable the 'select the menu for the active page item' (easier) or somehow allow him to recognize that its actually a variant of the same page... (the settings are different...)

    Ive tried overiding the CSS with what I think is correct according to the how to on the web site Enkitec, but without success...

    If anyone could offer advice, Id be grateful...

    Kind regards

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

    Are you sure that's not because of the condition of the sub components?

    I'm sure you check 'in progress' through the list.

  • ID of Session apex and the Google URL parameters

    I think my question is maybe too obscure to get an answer... but I hope...

    I maintain a site that has links to resources for Oracle Certification tests (documentation, articles, videos, books, etc.):

    http://www.oraclecertificationprep.com/Apex/f?p=OCPSG:main

    The site is (obviously) use Application Express as a backend.  My problem is that even if I have the keys pages/tabs/configured to use the Session ID 0, somehow, not nonzero is creeping in session ID.  I really wouldn't worry except that Google ends up getting URL with zero session id indexed for the Googlebot to go.  The result is that Google gets errors of analysis which he maintains have reported to me.  I have delete - more pop up. I delete those, repetition...

    There is a feature in the page of Google Webmaster tools to set up "Parameters of URL" make Google to know what parts of a URL are temporary and should not be treated as a separate URL entry.  However, there are warnings if you configure the incorrect URL parameters, you will end up by excluding indexing course pages at all.

    So my question is (finally) if someone used Google Webmaster tools to set up the ID of session as parameters, and if so, how they went to do.

    Hello

    I'm not sure that you can configure ignore the id of session on tools for webmasters.

    Try to add the canonical link to your pages with zero session id.

    Official Google Webmaster Central blog: specify your canonical

    Or create application processes always redirect to zero session if the url session id is something else.

  • Content Presenter: CMIS-based datasource request with URL parameters

    Hi all

    I am trying to create a page containing a content presenter taskflow is based on a query CMIS containing URL parameters. In the properties of my component, I defined the following query for my data source:

    + SELECT * from ora: t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE ora:p:xqblIntranetSubGroep =' ${param.qblSubGroep}'+.

    I have a qblSubGroep setting of URL containing the value 'Nieuws '.

    Somehow my page doesn't show any content. It seems that the value of the parameter is not passed to the data source query. When I change my request to

    SELECT * from ora: t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE the ora: p:xqblIntranetSubGroep = 'Nieuws '.

    so I hard-code the value of my URL parameter in my query, content expected items are shown.

    Also, I have another page with a content taskflow presenter for something unique, based on the data source:

    + ${' #dDocName WebCenterSpaces-CMU: ""} ${param.dDocName} +.

    In this case, parameter values to URL for dDocName are properly transferred, and the content presenter shows the document with dDocName entered in the URL.

    Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this probem?

    Kind regards

    Harold

    Use the following EMPS:

    ${"SELECT * from ora: t:IDC:GlobalProfile WHERE the ora: p:xqblIntranetSubGroep =-" "} ${param.qblSubGroep} ${" '------"}

  • Use PHP Variables between pages: Session, URL, or Get

    Hello

    For our association, I developed a registration page.  Registration pages insert a record into a mysql database, using php.  After the user submits the form (by using $post), I want to be redirected to the confirmation page where a mysql database query is executed to retrieve the record, the Member has been added.

    To pass the variable, I have developed the following pages using a session variable.

    Registration page: http://www.aosweb.org/member_dues.php

    Confirmation page: http://www.aosweb.org/member_view.php

    Although I asked recently changes to the code, it worked at the same time.  The forum was helpful to get the information I needed.  At this point, the redirect, and the passage of the session variable does not work.  It seems that the available on the page member_view session variable is of the last inserted record.  Thus, the query that is run on member_view returns no result.

    I checked some of the forum posts, such as:

    -php url parameters

    -How to pass parameters of form to confirm page...

    -php help registration page!

    My questions outstanding are as follows:

    1 have I placed the order to set the $_session ('sv_mem_num') in the right place.

    2 should I consider another method such as a URL or by using the Get method parameter.

    Thank you.

    George

    $insertGoTo = ' member_confirm.php? mark = ". $_POST ['Member_Num']. » « ;"

    If (isset {}
    $insertGoTo. = (strpos ($insertGoTo, '?'))? "&" : "?";
    $insertGoTo. = $_SERVER ['QUERY_STRING'];
    }

    What is happening is that the Dreamweaver code is looking for an existing query string and add it. The problem is that you put a query string in your redirect page, which translates as the ampersand is added at the end. That's how I want to change it:

    // set the redirect to the target page without a query string
    // then let Dreamweaver check for an existing query string
    $insertGoTo = "member_confirm.php;
     if (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'])) {
     $insertGoTo .= (strpos($insertGoTo, '?')) ? "&" : "?";
     $insertGoTo .= $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
     }

    // if a query string has been added, add the memid at the end
    // otherwise, create a query string to add memid
    if (strpos($insertGoTo, '?')) {
     $insertGoTo .= '&memid=' . $_POST['Member_Num'];
    } else {
     $insertGoTo .= '?memid=' . $_POST['Member_Num'];
    }

  • I want the main tone of take me to the top of the current page, the end key to take me down.

    He was the original key took me to the top of the current page, the end key down. Recently it stopped doing this on the pages of some, not all, sometimes, behavior is used, then stops again. It seems that they take me at the beginning and at the end of the current line instead. "always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages" is always on.

    This seems to solve this - although it was variable. I don't know why I'd start inadvertently, the F7 key substitution - I'm not knocking the other F keys inadvertently. I misinterpreted always "use the cursor keys to navigate through the pages" to designate the behavior I wanted. Change of browsewithcaret turned it off.

  • Why control 'Reload current page' has been moved to the navigation bar 29 Firefox? I wish I could put it where I had it in Firefox 28.

    After completing the download of Firefox 29 I tried to reorganize my buttons\controls to where I used to have them in Firefox 28 and earlier versions. I noticed, in particular, that the 'reload current page' control is no longer available to be located in front of the navigation bar where I got it for years. The reason why I chose Firefox was in the first place because I could customize to my liking. I know that you can just right click and "Recharge" tab or just get used to go all the way (right side) of the bar of navigation but that defeats the purpose entirely for me.

    Here's an analogy; Ford decides that they will replace now current car models to the United States with British standard style vehicles. All cars sold by Ford will now be right steer. While this may seem like a "No biggy" to some, others, especially those of us who are prone to driving manual transmission vehicle, maybe a little resistant to this change. You do not know if I managed to make my point of view or not, but I hope that I did.

    Initially I thought I would start by "is someone fell and hit their head?" or "did Steve Ballmer suddenly support Mozilla, especially the version of Firefox 29, because it feels like a Windows 8 (aka the aroma of a tank full of sewage on a hot day)?" It is understood that updates are needed and as a computer scientist, I was around for many odd where the folds just to settle. They occur. Perhaps some consideration will be Firefox 30 to those of us in States that are used for vehicles left direction.

    I may be missing something here and fall on my sword if this is the case, but there is no indication that I've seen at the sight of Mozilla that the 'reload current page' control cannot be manipulated somehow update Firefox 29. The good side of things, I now have a good reason to go back and review some of the browsers that I cut back in the day when I decided to go with Firefox.

    As far as I know, the Restorer of classic theme Add on is the only way to move the button reload outside the address bar.

    1. Classic restaurateur theme installation and restart Firefox when prompted.
    2. Open the modules (Ctrl + Shift + A Manager; Mac: Command + shift + A), then the Extensions category.
    3. Beside the classical restaurant theme, click on the Options button.
    4. On the main tab, make sure that 'Mobile back-forward button' and 'hide urlbars stop & reload buttons' is checked. You can also check "combine stop & reload buttons. Close the options window when finished.
    5. Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.
    6. Do slide forward/backward buttons, Stop and reload on the navigation toolbar.
    7. Click the Customize the output at the bottom right button when finished.

    That being said, I must point out that you can reload pages in other ways.

    • Make a right click No matter what tab and choose reload.
    • Right click on a box empty page and choose reload.
    • Press F5.
    • Press Ctrl + R (Mac: command-R).
  • Why 'print range' box 'current page' option please?

    Hi, I just changed from Internet Explorer to Firefox. In Internet Explorer, I had 'Current Page' as in 'print range' option in the print area. It's very useful when you want to just print the current page you are looking at. This option is available with Firefox please?

    Printing is one of the areas of Firefox which accuses IE, maybe because there was no pressure to be a standard in a corporate environment...

    I noticed that Firefox has an option 'Current Page' on Linux, but not on Windows. So there is a code in the code base somewhere that should make it possible.

    There are ongoing projects to improve printing under Windows from each point of view (paper check), layout, etc., but progress is slow. We could file a new application for this change, but I suspect it might be queued behind the largest rewrite would be obsolete any quick solution.

    However, if a developer writes the fix and fought for it, it could be approved out of sequence. I think that type of initiative and persistence still count for much.

    I guess it boils down to: at the present time, he is not a native function. Until it is added, (a day), you could look for an add-on.
