  Hello, I started just recently having a problem with a project where the timeline will freeze when I try to drag the media tray or Windows Explorer. I can always zoom in and out with the wheel on the timeline, but the media itself and all the buttons are not able to be selected. This does not happen with my other projects. I've only worked with this project for about 3 hours before the problem started happening.

  I just want you to know I had a discussion with the support staff and they gave a quick and the response of the effect. turn off the markers in the timeline so far was the fix. don't know why it is an issue all of a sudden, as this can be problematic if people use markers intensively, because I only really use them as a substitute for the 'work area bar' to specify my encode times.

  Please make sure that Lightroom is updated to the latest version, Lightroom 6.3

  Also:

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

  When I try to watch streaming video, my computer freezes, the screen goes black. It will start to play the video to say about... maybe 30 seconds. The computer screen will sweep for a fraction of a second and that's it. It crashes, the screen goes black, it makes that sound you get when the computer crashes. So I have to do a hard reboot to take control of the computer again. I've only had this computer for about 120 days, did not buy good warranty for the software and now I'm stuck.
  I got a warning of "problem-solution" and he mentioned a question with the ATI card. I have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 on an Inspiron7010. I tried to reload the OS. did not work.

  Hi there I use Win7 since the RC1 of scene and found it rock solid, I'm now running Windows 7 Enterprise. I installed it on a Dell XPS 1710 and had few problems so far. When I start my computer and you move the mouse around the screen, the mouse "hangs" for a second or two, then moves, then crashes again. In even the startup sound I is unstable, as are MP3 when I play those. All these things worked * perfectly * until a lock suddenly toward the top of the computer having been on during a few hours, which was a new event. The computer haddnt overheating but since then this nervousness thing that happened.

  What I tried:

  Selective startup, without the elements of startup and services, without change.
  Search for new drivers for my card (Nvidia 7950GTX) gfx, no change.
  Shut down the computer to turn off this device to save power 'allow' in the option of USB hub root

  None of that helped him. The CPU spikes 16% at most when you the mosue blocking, I have a lot of RAM available. Occurs when I use the touchpad as well and even when I'm not running all programs - oh, I have a Microsoft Intelli Mouse 5 button.

  I use a tungsten e2, synchronization with the missing 6.0.4 sync on a mac 10.5.4 (German). I synchronize via the cradle.

  When I try to sync the e2 freezes while the "synchronization" message appears. Black-White-flashing bar appears on the tungsten-screen (maybe 2px height). the only solution is to soft reset.

  I tried the hard reset, removed the sd card and checked the cable connections - nothing.

  is it possible to solve this problem or should I assume that the tungsten material is broken?

  I did not check it with another program, but I found the solution now, I think:

  When I synchronize without the cradle (i.e. directly by plugging the cable in the pda,) it seems to work. Strange, isn't?

  I use Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit platform).  Just recently, when I right click on the red X in the upper right to close a window, the window and the cursor freezing for about fifteen seconds.  The window then closes, and the slider works normally.

  This happens to my office, although my laptop (same operating system Vista, except for the 32-bit version) works normally.  I use CCleaner on a regular basis, and I have the latest version of AVG anti-virus and Microsoft Security Essentials installed.  This Setup has worked well for over a year.  This problem appeared only in the last 24 hours.

  First, as soon as the computer and then restarting it later in the day, the question has not repeated itself.  I had read on Google that people with this problem a couple of years, were not so lucky.

  I have not addded any software, except to perform Windows updates usual a week ago.  The suddenness of the appearance of my problem led me to believe that these patches were probably not at fault.  When I went to log on to this second time, I had planned to restore the system to a previous backup to see if that gave me work around the problem.  However, it was not necessary.

  No error message appears when the problem occurred, and the problem was if I was in the office or on the Internet.  Nevertheless, I intend to register your comments useful diagnosis for later use, and for your efforts, thank you very much!

  I mentioned in the previous thread IMPORT FROZEN, but this thread go quite long and complicated, so I thought I would isolate the specific problem that I (and many others) have.

  Problem is that, by hitting the button IMPORT (or drag and drop or by using the menu to select IMPORT), the screen freezes. Most of the time the arrow cursor is frozen on the import button. LR it's in import mode, but there is no user interface. To exit this mode of jelly, just hit the ESC key and LR rejects the (nonexistent) import screen and continue to function normally.

  Sometimes the import screen is partially pulled. I think that this will happen if the import mode had worked previously in this session (as it does right after a full reboot).

  The problem is that, once this problem arises, so that you can release the frozen program (by pressing the ESC key) there is no way to import files in LR without re-booting.

  Workaround solution:

  This morning I realized that, since the problem seems to be with the drawing of the screen import, that maybe the auto import would work, and at least I have the import of return function. So I tried it and it works perfectly. I just download the HD using another method to get the files from the memory card to the HD and then move the files to the spyware file (after you have enabled auto-import). The value the preview for "import" can go as fast as possible.

  Hope this helps and if Adobe or anyone else having this issue specific import has the extra info, please post it hear. I know other people have problems with the actual import, but keep those in a separate thread (at least this is my suggestion).

  Michael... I suspect that you use the option/3 GB in WIN/XP.

  I had the same problem on LR3b2.  Done without the/3 GB startup the problem goes away.

  During the final of LR3 is out, I moved to Win7 64 bit with 12 GB... so never tested to see if Adobe had fixed it... I do not.

  I have a Dell XPS with a TEAC DVD +-RW DVW28SLC.  I'm trying to burn videos to both DVD-R and DVD + R (tried both - same question every time).  Equipped with Vista.  I tried Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premier elements, just burn the files created using Nero and the program in Windows and everyone hangs before the end of the disc.  I never had this problem with my old computer - of ideas?

  I'm on Windows 7 on a computer with i7 [email protected], 24 GB of Ram. I'm in first Pro CC 2015.2 9.2.0 (41)

  I have a 1080 p with a bunch of files chronology, mainly of sequences (4K) in H264. When you try to drag media (sometimes with maybe other files as well, AVI, MOV, WAV) tab in the timeline, the first project freezes. I am able to record with the controls in the main panel, but the symbol of the mouse remains as it was and I can't do anything with the mouse. Only way to solve it, must leave the first with the Task Manager.

  Restart the computer or to import the project into a new project does not help.

  Any ideas?

  You have located in the sequence I/O points?  If so, remove them.
