• Searching after effects help

  I had intended to ask this question for a while:

  I'm a fool, or is there no way to search only the After Effects help documentation?

  When I'm using AFter Effects (F1) there are two search field, and whichever one I use

  It seems search all adobe rather than just the After Effects documentation.

  I get results documentation, forum questions and other products Adobe ect...

  I just don't know how to use help or is this normal?

  When you press F1 and land on the effects of Adobe help page, you can enter your search terms, do the research and then on the results page select 'Support' to filter only support documentation Adobe and tutorials. You can also filter on product (s). Does that help?

  

• Black screen with blinking cursor on HELP!

  Today, I tried turing on my laptop its a G56. and the hp logo came after that I got a black screen with a white cursor blinking. now I tried the hard reset which did not work, there is no blinking lights. I also tested the hard drive and memory and everything this past. Also I have tride f11 system recovery and does nothing just a black screen again. a friend of mine also has the same laptop right, I tried to Exchange hard drives to see maybe if it was my computer but its hard disk works fine on my comp. and then I put my hard drive into his computer and made the exact same thing, black screen with the white cursor. I don't know whats going on. PLEASE HELP ME!

  If you do not, use another PC to create a rescue CD Windows 7.  Download the ISO relevant among the links below.  If you are not sure of the version, the product page for your laptop shows it was delivered with the 64-bit version, so try first.

  Windows 7 32 bit

  Windows 7 64 bit

  You must use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  One time created, or if you already have this, insert the rescue CD in Notepad and restart at the start of it.  Select repair your computer and choose the command prompt.  When this charge, enter the following commands and press on enter after everyone – including spaces as shown.

  Bootrec.exe

  bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

  c:

  Boot CD

  BCD attrib s h - r

  Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

  Bootrec /RebuildBcd

  Bootrec /fixmbr

  Bootrec /fixboot

  Remove the rescue CD and try to restart the laptop.

• frozen cursor need help

  laptop Presario CQ60, p/n NB2276UA. frozen cursor. Methods

  has tried without success: 1-held power until the wide button. poweroff 2 walls and the battery for 30 seconds. Replace the battery & connect to the power supply. Pressed power on b utton while pressing F10 repeatedly. has selected normal startup.

  In addition, have no external mouse and have 3recovery disks but don't know how to use.

  Still in Safe Mode, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open 'mouse and other pointing devices '.  Right click on your touchpad device and select Properties.  Click the driver tab and then click on the "Roll Back Driver" button.  Wait for this process to finish, and then restart Windows to start normally.  See if this contributed to the issue.

• System restore problems - I reboot and press F11, then past recovery mode and load the files then it just goes to the blue screen and a mouse cursor? help please?

  I recently had to restore my HP DV5-1015ea.

  When I turned on the laptop first he loaded everything up and again requested name and language settings user etc.
  Once I did all that he began the normal loading then it came with something error message root I don't remember.
  Now, I try and restart and load windows in black screen, then goes to the blue screen with a cursor and then is that you can do anything else

  What, exactly, you try to do when it comes this way? Change an email? Edit a document? Fill in the text on a web page?

  I'm assuming that what you are clicking on the screen to try to get the cursor where you want to. In other words, that you find, selected at random at best. Try this. The touch screen, but do not click it. Hold your finger again until the blue poster box a hollow rectangle... now drag your finger around and the hollow rectangle will move. Move it to where you want, and then release. It provides information and you can now edit on that position.

  It takes a lot of practice to get used to this operation. For me, it took from the end of November to February before I could say that I was used to it enough to say I love him. A lot of time and patience is the mantra.

• Rectangle fill Image scrolling effects help

  Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me reach the example of the effects of scroll image in the picture everything down on this page 'Park Willow - Oak Bay grocery / Victoria BC'. Where you are scrolling but most of the image is to be revealed when you scroll? Far I placed a rectangle, filled with the image set to scale, but I need help with the real effects. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

  Follow the settings in the image below!

  1: click Fill

  2: Navigate to scroll

  3: ensure that all values are 0, except your key position which should be the top of the rectangle you!

  

• Scrolling effects help

  I am new to Muse scrolling effects. I just wanted to know how the scroll on this model effects were created. As there are white rectangles, but when they move, there's a different background image that remains in place, and you can see different parts of this image that the rectangles when you scroll up and down. As there is an image of a laptop in the background in the model (link below). When you scroll from top to bottom, the white rectangles move and you can see the different parts of the laptop. I am making sense?

  I am trying to achieve that effect with the effects of scroll, but so far without success, and the tutorials are not just a large.

  You can configure using scrolling effects, on the page you mentioned rectangles and frames of images are used with applied scrolling effects where corresponds to the initial position and final position to scroll.

  You can can install background pictures with frames of image into rectangles and then on them, you can set other page with scrolling objects and configure the relative speed of scrolling so that one is fast and other is slow.

  It is quite difficult to define the speed of scrolling with several objects on the page, you worked by creating examples of pages with many objects of scrolling.

• In After Effects help does not work?

  None of the links in the menu help after effects CC work, and F1 also does not work. Oddly enough, help in other programs such as first Pro ARE working, same CC there are tweaks I've accidentally triggered? How to run again?

  but I can't get the cursor to have a value y max, im trying to do the sider to work this way:

  You can drag up or down, with a maximum of 5 units, if the unit value is less then 5 and the mouse is in place, the cursor returns to the unit one.

  If the cursor is at Unit 5 and mouse is in place, the judgment of the cursor and a clip plays, cursor jumps back to 1

  You should think about what you're trying to set up when you use boundsRect.height - obj1.height - 20 as a control value.  You should follow to see if it's what you motivated, it should be.  I noticed that you have the value of boundsRect used in the second function, but it does not work because it said in the first function... it is out of reach for the second function when you declare it inside the first.

  Still, I can't follow what you're trying to do, so I can't do much to solve.  If you are unable to progress further, feel free to start a new assignment and I would avoid it so that someone else might be likely to take a shot at it... attention new validation.

• Overview of adverse... effects help pls (CS5)

  When I run a filter effect on an image, the preview comes out backwards.  In photoshop, this is the right way up.

  I use XP SP3 with 3 monitors that crosses a triplehead2go sigital with 4 GB of ram and a nvidia geforce display card if that helps narrow down the problem

  I can't get the 'text' to be able to add an effect, it will only add to the area of that text is the effect

  Police of system use, or al least a white to a system font. In this case, you can use effects because systemfonts are rendered as an image.

  Using the web or web fonts safe it is temporarily impossible to use effects on the text.
