Custom compressor not in FCPx settings

When you try to add a new Destination in FCPx, 'Custom' folder of the compressor 0 shows presets, however I have several in this folder.   How can I make them appear as Destinations?  I spent several hours trying to have them appear.

Thank you

Geoff

I noticed that others had the same problem.  I tried a number of things, but have now resolved the issue by doing a complete uninstall of the compressor and reinstall.

(according to the get help with compressor 4.2 or later - Apple Support)

Kind regards

Geoff

  • Parameters specified by step do not match the settings of the sequence

I just upgraded from Teststand 4.1.1 to 4.2 and have encountered this

problem during the review of the existing sequence files.

When I open a file of sequence, select any stage of type sequence call, which calls another sous-séquence

in a different sequence file, I learned that the parameters used do not correspond to those required.

To be more precise, in the settings area of the stage, a red exclamation symbol appears at the side of the

subsequence called step, and the ToolTip is displayed when the mouse pointer is

hovered over the exclamation point States:

"Parameters specified by the step do not match the settings of the sequence."

The ToolTip goes on to explain how to solve this problem by clicking on the exclamation symbol.

I find also that by deselecting the "Prototype using sequence" tab in step Settings\Module

    solves the problem.

When the sequence is executed, no problems occur with execution, the test performs correctly.

Is it possible to clear this error for each sequence call not in one operation?

    Thank you

    Gary.

My apologies to attach a file of sequence buggy. I forgot to pass a parameter to the LoadPrototype method to preserve existing settings. I have attached a corrected version of the sequence file. I changed to update SequenceCall not only because of potential problems, reloading the DLL prototypes.

I would try to explain why you see cela TestStand 4.2. The additional results feature, we added to TestStand 4.1 needs to know what parameters are entered, output and input/output (i.e. what settings is pass by reference). Before TestStand 4.1, step of calling sequence does not store this information but rather dynamically got it and it appears in the column how go. Now that we store the past by reference with the step option, you can have an inconsistency between the option stored in step and the current setting of the sequence called. This inconsistency affects only additional results and not execution. TestStand 4.1, the sequence editor to not warn you on these inconsistencies. We have added the TestStand 4.2 warning so that you will have the correct information for additional results.

When TestStand 4.1 or 4.2 load a file of sequence from a pre-version 4.1 version, TestStand sets cervical optionally reference true for all parameters in the call sequence steps. This is why you see the warning for any sequence calling step created TestStand 3.5 If no parameters are not passing by reference. You can also see the problem if you change the option collar called a reference parameter in the sequence.

  • Identify if VO, CO, AM is extended or not? Determine if the page is customized or not?

    Hi all

My version of Jdev is 10.1.3.3.0.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. How do I determine if my VO, the CO and the I are extended or not?

    2. How do I know if my page is customized or not?

    Please give me the details...

    Thank you.

    Hello

Go to "about this page" to see if any extension of VO/CO/AM exists. You could see that in the section controller or business components.

    For customization, two options:

    1. use the responsibility functional administrator and give the page and the path and you can get information from there.

    2. use the RPG utils to check that any customization exists since the back-end. (You could use this to check for VO / AM substitution also)

  • Can we use Office default memory offline if the customer does not have enough free memory?

Can we use Office default memory offline if the customer does not have enough free memory?

Yes. We can use the parameter offlineDesktopDefaultMemoryScaleupValue jointly with the offlineDesktopReportedHostMemoryValue parameter in the registry.

For example, if your client system has 2 GB of memory and the desktop view is configured to require 2 GB of memory, you won't be able to check the desktop view because low memory is also necessary for visualization of hosted customer.

Use the parameter DesktopReportedHostMemoryValue = 2048 registry offline, so that you can go to the desktop and use the registry parameter offlineDesktopDefaultMemoryScaleupValue = 1024.

so that the desktop view uses only 1 GB of memory when run locally.

    Reg patch: HKCU\Software\VMware, Inc. \VMware VDM\Client\disableOfflineDesktopMemoryScaleup

Note: If it's a small environment you can do manual. Or we can simplify this activity by creating a group policy.

  • Preserve the values of the custom of NI VeriStand device settings?

I am trying to create a system customized for VeriStand. The custom device must have a few settings that are configurable in the Explorer system solutions and are used in its VI in real-time. How can I save the parameter values so that they are retained in the next time I open the definition of system file? Is the only way to do by combining each of these parameters to a channel in the custom device and using the custom peripheral Channel Set default value VI?

    Thank you.

You can use strings for the values of these parameters and default values as you described. Only, I would create channels if you expect to need to change the parameter at run time values by defining it from the workspace or a profile of stimulus.

If the parameters are static (for a start at least), then I would just set them as a property on one of the nodes in the device customized using the NI VeriStand - Set point property VI. You can create as many named properties. Properties can be any value you choose, such as double, double table, etc., boolean, string. You can set these system explore and they will be saved in the definition of system and available on the target of RT using the NI VeriStand - point Get property VI. You can read them only in the engine, not write down them, but there is usually a lot more low overhead to have properties of programs.
