  I wonder if its possible to reproduce the functionality of the default close button (the X in the right corner) with a custom button popup (like cancel).
  
  The problem is that I use custom buttons so my popup has a dialog box within which type is NONE. I have my close button which is a command link, but you can see the difference when you press this button and the close (X) button. the last of them is much faster to close.

  I suspect that you notice some delay because the listener of the action of your order link is implemented at the side managed server (for example, a bean method). If the action is a managed bean method (namely, the side Server), then the command binding enforcement generates an HTTP request to the server (in order to run the listener to action at the level of the server) and the context menu will not close until the HTTP response is received and processed by the browser. You can avoid the HTTP round trip by implementing an action listener client instead (e.g. ), where you can close the popup Javascript (using the Javascript API of the ADF). Look at the documentation of the tag in JDeveloper help for a simple example for opening a popup, you can easily modify it to close the popup instead.

• How to trigger DA when the user clicks a button close the standard window

  Hello!

  Apex 5.0 & universal theme.

  I want to trigger some DA when the user clicks on the button indicated to my image (button close the standard window). In fact, I would like to pass a value of my hidden form IR back and refresh IR if value = 1 or don't refresh with another value.

  Seems that you have chosen to add the event handler to the page parent (the one with the IR). I think it's best. This means that the code above does not apply.

  The dialogclose event and all other dialogue jQuery UI events are triggered in the dialog box to create a DA pull on the IR will not work (because the dialog box is outside the IRR while she bubbles it won't go through the SORTING). You must handle the event on the body. This works because the event propagates to the body. Set the Type to choose to be "jQuery Selector". JQuery Selector enter 'body' (without the quotes). The event you want to handle is a custom, event which means that this isn't one of those in the select list. For event, choose "Custom". Then enter Custom Event "dialogclose" (without the quotes). Now you have a DA who fires when * all * dialog closes. You may or may not need to get more selective than that. For action, you can use refresh as you do already.

• Exit JavaScript button does not work

  
  I use 7 Captivate to create a little tutorial. On the last slide of the tutorial, I and the exit button. For action "on success" for the release, I chose "run JavaScript. In the script window, I entered

  When I run the presentation by pressing F12 ' Web browser', the button works fine. (A confirmation dialog box appears asking me if I want to go out.) But when I published and then executes, the button does nothing.

  You test in IE? You might not be a bad thing, but your system will not be running the script working in car. Try to add to the html document and see if that fixes the problem. EMH is a workaround that you can change your registry settings to allow the script to run.

  One is designed to allow keyboard users to can click any key when this element is to close the window, rather than forcing the use of a mouse click.

• Position of the button close the tab tab

  Just updated to 17 of Firefox on my Windows 7 PC. The close tab buttons are now on the left side of the tab instead of the right side. How can I move them back on the right side? I can't find other help on this and tried to play with: config userchrome, but nothing is. I can change the color, add a button in the bar, but does not affect the positioning of the buttons close the tab on the tabs themselves.

  You have the module / theme / userstyle installed that controls tab behavior? You can resolve this problem by restarting with disabled modules. You can also reset firefox who, most likely, your problem will be solved.

• Help with custom radio buttons.

  Before you go all Rube Goldburg thought that I post for a quick reality check.

  Basically, I have a test with several different configurations of coupon and I try to give users an advanced interface to select one they use. Using radio buttons seems the way to go and I inserted my custom images but I have only be able to select by clicking on the buttons. I want the user to be able to click on the image. Unless I'm missing something, I have this feeling that I have to create the four complete custom Boolean buttons with States of 4-6 and then write the code to do that alone is never on at the same time?

  You can change the appearance and the size of the used option button and overlay them on your chart, and then set the transparent parameter. So it looks like they're clicking on custom image but they are clicking on the invisible button on the top of the image.

  Hi I'm developing, and send to the playbook. I have a few questions, I would love to get all entries from you guys.

  • Basically, I'm trying to sort a list that is fine, but what I want eventually to reach is to classify the sorted list. Something like the image (see embeded / attached). I can implement this as a nested type, but juice I wanted to know if there is another native method to do so.
  • My next question is that I need to create a custom radio button group, where I want my buttons to look like buttons label while a tick mark indicating the checked item. See attachment.

  You can create a converter customized for list items (search the forum for this, many examples), and you can also watch the SectionList control for divisions. Hope that helps.

  You can trigger a fast action with JavaScript:

  cp.runJavascript (cp.model.data.objectName.oca);

  The script is advanced actions that are attached to objects, if it's a slide enter, you will need to find the id of the current slide.

  As far as I know the buttons (the embedded objects with built in functionality) are the only buttons/legends that cannot be replaced by form buttons (yet - fingers crossed, it will come soon).

  You can use a workaround, because the "submit" button is the most important component of every slide in the questionnaire. Hold the key, but make it invisible by removing the label, change the fill and border (is possible). And use a form (not a button) on this Submit button transparent. You cannot cover a question of form Slide button, because embedded objects are always on top, the reason why you should make the button transparent. It will look like a custom shape button but is really a Duet of the button Submit original with a shape that mimicks a button custom.

  I have a project with about 50 slides and use a custom image button to allow to the learner access the glossary slide at the end.

  Unfortunately sometimes the action of all the buttons gets reset to 'continue' instead of 'jump to slide _.

  What could be the reason?

  I did not remove the slide with the glossary. I have download the XML definitions for the glossary widget. I also started quiz slides by adding at the end.
  Is there anyone knows casue/effect that resets the actions of the buttons?

  I can't explain why the action evolves when you copy/paste but do have a tip for you.

  Why complicate this by having the individual buttons on each slide instead of the button a single form that you can put on the master slide or on the first slide and the time for the rest of the project? You can convert each image to a form button:

• I installed a trial of Illustrator from Adobe on my macbook pro. I want to draw a picture using the custom trace button but can not. Does anyone have any ideas how I could track custom?

  I start a new document. Then I place my scanned pencil/color pencil, drawing, in the document. I tried to scan and then placing it as jpeg, bitmap and a tiff file. I tried scanning and place then, in color and in black and white. The scan mode that I use is flat. Adobe Illustrator allows me to select the default button and one of the eleven preset buttons (e.g. photo high fidelity), but cannot me click on the record button custom. The custom trace button is gray while all other buttons are white.

  Does anyone have any ideas how I could track custom?

  Just it trace, and then change the options later. The follow-up is 'live', you can press the buttons and see what happens.
