Custom toolbar button active three times

Hi all

We are having heart 11.1.1.6.1, as shown in "webcenter_sites_11gr1_bp1_ui_customization.pdf", I've customized the toolbar.

The question I found the button's onClick event is triggered three times.

This is exactly the same problem as follows to the question:

https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2538887

No idea what will be the resolution?

In addition, wanted to know, if I want to display the same button in "edit" mode, how can I do that?

Thanks in advance

Milind

Hello

It is a known issue in version 11g 11.1.1.6.1 and a bug is already triggered: Bug 17355310 : ONCLICK ACTION for A CUSTOM TOOLBAR BUTTON IS EXECUTED 3 TIMES

Same seems to work very well in version 11g 8.

    You can not attach a screenshot in the first row who starts a thread, but you can do it in additional posts.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

    You can try to reset Firefox with a new profile.

  • How can I add custom toolbar buttons to load the different TOCs?

    In my outings WebHelp, I want to have some custom buttons on the toolbar that when clicked load a table of specific contents in the left navigation pane. For example, when the user clicks the button on PC, the table of contents PC load in the left pane. When the user clicks the button on the virtual machine, TOC VM load in the left pane. All help files are managed in a single project and some files will appear in both tables of contents.

    I think that this should be possible, but do not know how to get there. Is it JavaScript that I should add to the element of custom toolbar to the table of contents of load on a click? How can I specify the table of contents I want to display for each button?

    BTW - I use RoboHelp 8 (version 8.0.2) to generate WebHelp output. Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello

    If you were to upgrade to RoboHelp 9 it would simplify your question. Version 9 offers a new feature called content dynamic (DUCC) user-centric and offers a nice little drop-down selector in the mini-bar of Navigation Tools.

    As you are in version 8, the only way I can understand you it would handle is by generating two different outputs. Each output would use his respective OCD. In each project toolbar button can be configured to open the other project.

    You could report first having to manage two exits and all files. But if you take part DUCC and the way in which it is set by Adobe, it works the same way. It's just hidden from your initial view.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Create a Multiple Signature and Date fields with a custom toolbar button

    First of all, thank you in advance!  I'm a newbie script and I trudged my way through with very little experience with the scripts of any kind.  I'm good at taking and other scripts and them forming into something I need, but I can't seem to find something to do what I want.

    Use Adobe Acrobat X, I am trying to create a button in toolbar that I can press to create several signature fields and date with predetermined places.

    Here is the script that I have which strives to create a unique signature box, but I can't seem to understand the exact syntax to have this same button create several fields.  In total, it's 9 signature fields and 9 date fields must be created.  If you can give me just one example of what the button would look like with several scripts?  I'm assuming that I put multiple variables, then in ownership cExec toolbar button that I could just scream all these variables?

    var sigswm = "addField ('sigSWM', 'signature', '0', [108, 198, 494.64, 72])"

    app.addToolButton ({cName: "dotbutton", cExec: sigswm, cLabel: "place Signature and Date blocks",});

    Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    This is what works for me:

    function addSignatureAndDateFields (doc) {}

    Add a signature field and a date field

    var swmsig = doc.addField ('sigSWM', 'signature', '0', [108, 198, 494.64, 72]);

    swmsig.setAction ("MouseDown", "getField(\"dateSWM\").value = util.printd (\"mm/dd/yyyy\ ', Date() ");" ') new;

    doc.addField ('dateSWM', 'text', '0', [162, 72, 234, 54]);

    }

    app.addToolButton({)

    cName: "dotbutton."

  • Shortcuts, macros and custom toolbar buttons

    One of the things I like about the word is that I can easily create a shortcut like ALT + N for normal text, and I can create a macro as a pre-formatted table to contain a Note image and text both as a button on the toolbar.

    Is that what I can do to automate HR, how to make a button for the independent search and replace tool on the toolbar?

    Make a right-click on the toolbar in RH7 allows customization to it but not, as far as I know, this one.

    MacroExpress is a software for automation of all kinds of processes, not just HR, bit like Multi file find useful and Replace are accessible through the tools pod, it might be a tricky to implement.

    Are you aware that is built in the case R & MFF, as many of these tools, limited to research on a single line that can give erroneous results? FAR or BKReplaceEm are much better. A LOT of http://www.helpware.net and is more polished. BKReplaceEm is free.

    Personally I never use built into the tool.

    Generally no,.

    but since the Designer ES2, you can create macros to simplify your workflow.

    These macros can be brought in the Tools menu.

    Here's a few macros that I did the Designer ES2 RPF / designer of the ADEP:

  • Firefox does not remember my custom toolbar

    I made a toolbar customized some time back (about a year or two ago) and had no problem with him, then 1 or 2 days it is whenever I close a session of the Chamber of combustion and then reopen firefox my toolbar buttons and the module are missing. It happens every time now. Frustrating, what can I do? I think it might be because of the upgrade to v26.

    Maybe it's a model... You can try the suggestions in this thread from yesterday: custom added toolbars disappear after restart of firefox. Anything it is useful?

  • I have reset Firefox and now I've lost the Favorites and the custom toolbar.

    I can't restore my custom toolbar. Got back bookmarks by following the instructions found. I can not understand how to restore the toolbar... I go to the "Troubleshooting" information and I click on the "view files", but the only 'local' in my opinion, is not dated before I reset Firefox and I do not understand ' click on Firefox and while it repairs... etc. ". I am pretty good at following instructions, but these baffle me. Help, please!

    I haven't seen that pop up...

    If you want to try to roll back the clock I can describe a procedure to do this. In short, it would be to create a new folder of parameters (a new Firefox profile), deletion of the contents of this folder and copy the contents of your old data from Firefox on the desktop file.

    Does not take long, if you are interested, but then you have to troubleshoot why the old profile was slow. Here's how:

    Resucitating your profile before reset

    (1) create a new Firefox profile:

    Close Firefox and starts in the Profile Manager, as described in this article:

    Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox

    Any time want spending profiles, close Firefox and come back to this dialog box. When you create a new profile, I recommend that you use the suggested default location, not to delete all profiles without first making backups. For quick reference, name the 12 profile so you can easily recognize.

    (2) when you start in the new profile, it is almost empty. Open the profile folder using

    Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

    The bar of Windows Explorer should show a name combining random characters with 12.

    (3) keep this folder open, exit Firefox. Allow a few moments for Firefox complete update of the files in the profile folder. Then delete the contents of the folder new profile. This will leave you with a profile folder 12 vacuum.

    (4) in a separate window, open the folder of old data from Firefox on your desktop. Copy all the data of this file in the profile folder 12 vacuum.

    (5) run Firefox. It is expected to launch in which looks exactly like your discount to zero prior configuration.

    Now on troubleshooting. If Firefox feels slow, I suggest starting with Safe Mode. It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

    You can restart Firefox in Mode safe help

    Help > restart with disabled modules

    In the dialog box, click on 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)

    Any difference?

  • restore toolbar buttons?

    This isn't a new issue, I just clicked to check something and lost all my info and could he recover not at all, so I start on my problem is not a new issue but MY ONE and terribly important issue. I think that first developed when I upgraded to this version of Firefox (3.6.13) I lost all URL - bar! There was just enough space for the star and flag(add-ons) but not even 1 mm of space to type. I read one place that she was part of a change in Windows, they never said would be an alteration of information display in FF. I used blue for File, Edit, etc. toolbar and button not this toolbar is very much just as quickly, but went through the routine of safe mode not to get the menu bar but had no action if I knew my buttons were in danger, I need all my text buttons as well as ALL of my toolbar buttons. I have the text of all those who, fortunately, but not one of the buttons and I use so many not one of these shows anywhere. I checked to see if they could be at the end of a toolbar, but they disappeared completely.
    My crisis is that now I have URL bar of back after that "safe mode of Firefox and reset the toolbars and of controls" and now the text buttons are in place, but not even a single button. I use custom buttons2 and cute buttons SVG but have never used SVG we like still _at least I don't remember using them. I'm in desperate shape because I simply can't stay sane without access to my buttons! Help, please! Regarding the next line - I already answered that, and I don't want to close FF for fear that this situation will become permanent. Quite frankly, after typing this 2 times for the first time that I asked and these areas seem redundant to me, so I think that I have explained several times and I hope I have not left important information this time, but I think you have enough information to be able to give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

    Sorry, resetting your toolbars and commands in the Firefox SafeMode cannot be undone. You have to re-create your custom buttons.

    In case you have problems in the future, it's a good idea to make a backup of your entire profile - especially when you spend a lot of time customizing Firefox. http://support.Mozilla.com/en-us/KB/backing+up+your+information

  • Behavior of toolbar button broken in WYSIWYG in the latest version of Firefox desktop

    We use a WYSIWYG editor for adding and editing the content of some Web sites that support us. With the latest update of Firefox, toolbar buttons to clean up the contents of the Clipboard as RTF or plain in gray text when the cursor is placed inside the editable text box. This bug is not exposed in any other browser and does not appear in the previous version of Firefox.

    ---

    MORE INFORMATION

    • Toolbar buttons do not disappear when the page is loaded; they can still be clicked to clean up the contents of the Clipboard until the cursor is placed inside the editable text box. While this will not break our editing experience if we could be guaranteed that our site editors have always been paste content into the empty text boxes, we cannot make that assumption. Therefore, the ability to place the cursor within the editable region before clicking on the toolbar buttons is essential and the disappearance of the buttons is a bug.
    • Listed above, this behavior has been isolated as being only present in the Firefox browser, and only on the latest version of Firefox. Is attached a screenshot of the correct behavior, toolbar buttons disappear not when you click on the area of editable text in Google Chrome.
    • When there are several areas of WYSIWYG text on one page, they are the object independently of the other. That is, clicking in grays only editable text one area on the buttons of the toolbar for this particular text box, and others remain clickable until the cursor is placed within their respective areas of editable text. Clicking outside an editable text area does not "restore" buttons to a clickable state. Once they dimmed, they seem to stay like that, unless and until the page is reloaded.
    • Other buttons on the toolbar, such as those to insert/remove the hyperlinks, or make the text bold or italic, are not affected by this bug.
    • Error was replicated on OSX Yosemite, El Capitan of OSX and Windows 7 Enterprise

    Adding image seems to not work right now. Here's the URL for an imgur Gallery: https://imgur.com/a/dHp8Y

    Wow, you have a lot of scripts on this page... I see the behavior that you see, test on Windows. (By the way, I had to use HTTP instead of HTTPS.)

    Edit: No errors appear in the browser Console to indicate a problem when clicking in the editing area, so disabling seems to be design in the editor, perhaps caused by a detection or object/property/method version detection problem.

    Your version of CKEditor is quite old now, it seems to be from early 2013 3.6.6; This series had its last updated July 15, 2014 (3.6.6.2).

    The current version is 4.5.4 and when I use the demo, the button works normally: http://ckeditor.com/demo

    I don't know how to tease the difference and patch your current CKEditor. The ChangeLog mentions bugs for the gluing of the word several times: http://ckeditor.com/whatsnew

    Can update you?

  • For the last week or three Firefox updated two or three times for each update and sometimes for no apparent reason...

    For the last week or three Firefox updates two or three times for each update. Sometimes it refreshes without obvious reason. For example, I'll be in the middle of typing in the message forum block & it refreshes. Or by filling out an online form. Or simply viewing a page.

    You can check for problems caused by an extension that is not working properly.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
  • Add on tool bar appears, but add ons, and new custom toolbar only appears when the Customize window open - toolbar does not name in list of the toolbar?

    I used view = > toolbars = > and ticked all the toolbars that I want to appear. BUT add it to the toolbar appears blank (i.e. toolbar but no add ons). AND the new custom toolbar that I created is not yet listed in the toolbars available for check or not. The only way I can get to show upward (but no function) is by clicking the Customize button. The toolbar remains open as long as the window is customize, and I can add/remove/rearrange icons, but not use any of their functions (for example. I added a new button to the custom toolbar window, but when I click of course nothing happens, because another window - window customize - is still open). I need a way to lock the toolbar, so I can access buttons to use it please!
    BTW use Windows 8 and just went from IE (and fearing that I'll have to downgrade...)
    TNX so much.

    In my opinion, which suggests that what you were actually doing was to customize the toolbar of the addons. Firefox is quite flexible and you can for example put the print icon on the toolbar of the modules or the bookmarks toolbar, and not only on a new designed user a custom toolbar.

    Many modules are designed by their developers do not make use of the toolbar of the add-on. Some add-ons appear on other menus. Collusion shows also in the Tools menu. Some use the page modules interface for results or settings.

  • I can't create the custom toolbar

    Whenever I try to create the custom toolbar, it disappears after you restart Firefox. Can you suggest me a solution for this?

    Thank you!

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

    What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?

    Some security software has virtualization or sandbox features that can cause problems to protect and restore files in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Is fallen from MacBook Pro, light flashes three times, won't start

    HHello, fell of my MacBook Pro 2011, about two feet on the ground, there is no external damage.  Front light flashes three times and will not start.  Tried holding button, smc, pram.   Have been reading about the RAM.  Maybe it's in bulk, hope that's it, that is.  Don't have the tools (unibody).  Any ideas, help?  Thank you

    CCan really turn on and off with power button flashing light / stop.  And can hear the click (assuming it's the disc) turn off.

  • How to remove a custom toolbar.

    Where are stored the definitions of the custom toolbar? I created one, but now want to permanently delete it.

    Everytime I open Firefox is activated and I have to disable in the view menu. My preferences are not stored. This has happened in the last update of Firefox. The upper area is also a nasty green color before it loads my custom background.

    No idea of what is happening and how I can fix?

    Either way, "assumptions" for this are all wrong. It shows my version 3.5.4 and my XP OS.

    You must remove all elements (including separators and elements of space) in a toolbar and have them drag in the toolbar palette to remove the toolbar, customize the window is closed.
