  I use Jdev 11.1.1.0.0, IE7 and resource group files (* .properties) to translate the application into other languages.
  
  The CommonBundle.properties file contains the following:

  When I run the application of Jdeveloper (with includes WLS 10.3) then the files are copied in... \ViewController\classes\view.

  OK, here's my findings.

  1. it depends on the Encoding setting in tools > Preferences > environment > Encoding!
  2. a file created with the same set of characters translate correctly.
  3. a file created with a different set of characters will not translate correctly.
  4. to use Unicode all the UTF-8 encoding and create all files with this endocing. Translation will not work correctly.

• Properties for changing media files

  I had read the previous answers to this problem, but these answers DO NOT WORK.

  I have a lot of BOOKS in MP3 format. Many of them are long books (10 to 20 hours or more) and so they are divided into segments.

  My MP3 player uses the properties of filter of files on the drive so I use widely the Genre, author, Segment number, etc..

  I have property and full permissions to change properties.

  But some files won't allow any changes to the properties and contain no information property. All the property fields are WHITE.

  In some cases, this happens with all segments of a book and in other cases, it was only some segments that are empty, while others have complete property information in the segment.

  This has frustrated me since I first installed the original version of the BETA of Vista and not never disappeared.

  I tried to abuse it taking duplicate segments of other books, copy the contents of the work of problem and you try to change the property information to reflect the new book, but it still doesn't let me change the properties.

  There must be something in the header information of MP3 file that causing this to happen, but I don't have any idea what it could be.

  I even wondered if the type conversion of mp3 to WMA file and then converting again to see if that would open the property fields. I have not tried but due to fearing that conversion back deteriorate audio quality as editing several times a photo significantly deteriorates the quality of the image.

  It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with,open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the goodFile menu bar item.   Well, if it's just a webcenter application properties file, I'll suggest.place your property file in class path and read it. If the user can be updated without changing the code.

  Try this

  • Add a JVM parameter for managed servers WC_CustomPortal, WC_Portlets, and where your applications are run to find the path of the properties file. Pour-Dtranslation.properties=/opt/translations DS
  • Use the Library of Configuration Apache Commons which provides an API to read and add a policy of charging for properties files.
  • Create your own helper class to make an easier way to manage properties and deploy in a common shared-lib to be used by all applications.

  Where you have saved your image? I will suggest you to store images in WCC or deploy the image, under shared css lib in weblogic file.

  Properties-> select Resource Bundle Type of project: like 'Xliff Resource Bundle.

  And the location of Bundle on 'by default the name of the Bundle of project'.

  In my application it works fine.

• Error: Could not find compiled resource bundle "components" for locale "en_US".

  We are porting a large enough body of the Flex3 code developed as part of FlexBuilder 3 to Flex4 under FlashBuilder 4.  Most of the conversion seems to work very well, with one exception.  When I run the version of Flex4, all my exchanges of data with the server works.  Just as he is about to display the user interface, the following error occurs:

  Error: not found compiled resource bundle "components" for locale "en_US".

  I actually use a locale of en_US, but I guess that it could not conclude that revenue back to en_US, has yet again and then barfed.  If I look in

  ~ Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\locale\fr_FR

  I see a lot of swc and of course not «components.swc» files  I think the problem is that our code Flex3 is using mx components, and compatibility mode is not correctly handles it for some reason any.  I think it is mainly from our internal user interface library.  The properties of this library (and for my main application, I'm testing now) have:

  -Use default SDK (currently 'Flex 4.0')

  -Use Flex 3 compatibility mode

  -Use the minimum version (Flash Player) required by the Flex SDK kit

  -Enable strict type checking

  -Enable warnings

  I also tried to put the compatibility flag command-line compilation mxmlc, without a change in behavior.  This project is built with the following script:

  When you compile your SWF application, use the - resource-bundle-option list indicating something like - resources-bundle-list = C:\bundles.txt. The compiler must write to this file the names of all the bundles of resources that your application uses.

  Then add all these names together in the - include-resource-bundles option when you compile your modules of resources, so that your resource modules have not only your own resources, but also the resources required by classes in the framework that your application uses. Use a comma-separated list as - include-resource-bundles = resources, core, the container controls. Specify additional source paths so that it can find the .properties files for these packages, which are located in directories such as frameworks/projects/framework/bundles/en_US, frameworks/projects/mx/bundles/en_US, frameworks/projects/candle/bundles/en_US. You can use {local} instead of the actual location, as in frameworks/projects/framework/bundles / {local}.

  If this does not resolve the problem, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas.

  Strictly speaking, this is not really true. When running, the ResourceManager of IResourceBundles for localization, not deal with XML files or properties files. As long as you implement IResourceBundle, you can back it up with XML, properties, JSON, AMF files - what you want. The problem is that mxmlc will not build modules of resources for you what it is, with the exception of properties files, and cannot compile just resource bundles in a .swf using anything other than properties files. If you build your own interface to spit IResourceBundles, this could work, but it is probably more trouble that it's worth.

  (Assuming that you establish the link in the application) the best solution is to write a script to pre-process the XML in properties files.

  I have a class POJO that access a properties file in its constructor:

  It works very well for us. That being said, you should not use ResourceBundle.getBundle ("com.myapp.MyMappings"); in your beans. You should rather inject the bundle name, so the "myMapping' in your example and use:

  FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
  Resourcebundle bundle = context.getApplication().getResourceBundle(context, "myMapping");
  

  This will allow you to declare your Packs in one place, the file faces - config.Xml.

• For a given file, how to add and change file properties on the Details tab, for properties that are not in the properties list?

  Now, I am aware of the modification of the properties of the file is simple in Windows 7 Explorer. Select a file, 'Properties', then tab "Details".  Some are not editable, and that's understandable.  Click on next to any area classified as year, Genre, Publisher, etc. and the apply.  No problems so far.

  Then of course in Explorer, when you right click on a column header, you get several choices of column beyond the usual that is displayed by default; Date, the Type, size, etc.  But, there is an option "More...", which has up to now, MUCH more useful properties to choose from, such as the model project, Department, job statusand so on.

  It's fantastic!

  But when you look into the details of any given file, none of these additional properties even are listed to be edited.  Why offer to view these details, if you don't change them, or add them to different files?  I must be missing something.  I do not need to add my own custom details, this additional list has a choice, that I need; If only I could edit the files to get this info.

  How to add and change these properties to files?  Word, Excel, MP4, AVI, JPG; I would add these properties, so I can set directly in the Solution Explorer, as you would by name or Type.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  My experience is that most of these 'extra fields' no existence not as fields in the directory (folder) itself.  On the contrary, these fields exist in the target file itself. Each file type has its own format and established file except for the types of files that belong to Microsoft, Microsoft cannot control or arbitrarily change the format of a particular file type.

  For example, a ".jpg" file  The format of this file type allows a large number of areas such as comments, Tags, date taken, opening, device manufacturer and so on.  If you go into the properties on a .jpg file, you will see a lot of them and will be able to change.  After changing any of these fields, you will find that the file itself has been changed to contain this information (as can be verified by the parity of the file and to come check upward with a different checksum).  If you display one of these fields in Explorer and 10000 ".jpg" files in this folder, then Explorer must open each of these 10000 files to extract the data in the corresponding fields, you have chosen to display.  May take some time.

  Compare that to the same picture saved to a file ".bmp".  The ".bmp" format has no provisions for any of these fields, so you will not be able to view, save, edit, or sort by them.  If the editable fields are directly related to the type of file that is displayed.

  Microsoft has apparently interviewed a lot of file types and made a compilation of the editable fields in each type of file and the Union of the selected fields in which can be displayed and modified.   That's apparently what you see in the option «More...» ».   So, in summary, the file type determines which fields are available for editing and posting.

• Cannot add properties of jad for the compatibility mode for the COD file metadata.

  Hi all.

  I need to disable the application that are installed compatibility mode using the ALX file. I read in an another messages it is possible to add custom file JAD directly properties in the COD file. I tried to create test projects using Blackberry JDE, Blackberry Eclipse plugin generation tools and use Eclipse with ant. Then I tried to add a JAD file for projects and by adding the following properties:

  RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode: false
  RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode-UserChangeable: true
  

  Also I tried specifying the properties of this:

  RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode: 0
  RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode-UserChangeable: 1
  

  But it seems that it does not help to automatically avoid compatibility mode for applications that are built using JDE4.2.1 or earlier. I ran the test on Storm 9530 camera with 5.0.0.32 8 preinstalled JDE. I also wipe my phone several times to avoid the capabilities that the compatibility mode settings is saved.

  In addition, before installing the application I also checked this jar file compatibility mode properties which was built contained in this manifesto.

  Please, anobody can advise which go bad. Or it seems that there is no possibility to implement the solution that are built with the JDE at first then 4.7 and are installed using the ALX file.

  I'm on "Presentation of new Release" screen and when I click on the pencil under the column "Files" icon and select my new BAR file, I get the following error:
