• Limit custom toolbar icons?

  Hello

  Just a question about the DPS App Builder - toolbar customized in Enterprise Edition.

  I can't add more than 2 icons (Library + Viewer) in the context of the iPhone (SD and HD), but can add easily the 6 icons iPad (library + Store + FAQ + help + COT + Viewer).

  Is there an absolute limit in the iPhone or I do something wrong?

• Add on tool bar appears, but add ons, and new custom toolbar only appears when the Customize window open - toolbar does not name in list of the toolbar?

  I used view = > toolbars = > and ticked all the toolbars that I want to appear. BUT add it to the toolbar appears blank (i.e. toolbar but no add ons). AND the new custom toolbar that I created is not yet listed in the toolbars available for check or not. The only way I can get to show upward (but no function) is by clicking the Customize button. The toolbar remains open as long as the window is customize, and I can add/remove/rearrange icons, but not use any of their functions (for example. I added a new button to the custom toolbar window, but when I click of course nothing happens, because another window - window customize - is still open). I need a way to lock the toolbar, so I can access buttons to use it please!
  BTW use Windows 8 and just went from IE (and fearing that I'll have to downgrade...)

  In my opinion, which suggests that what you were actually doing was to customize the toolbar of the addons. Firefox is quite flexible and you can for example put the print icon on the toolbar of the modules or the bookmarks toolbar, and not only on a new designed user a custom toolbar.

  Many modules are designed by their developers do not make use of the toolbar of the add-on. Some add-ons appear on other menus. Collusion shows also in the Tools menu. Some use the page modules interface for results or settings.

  If you want to try to roll back the clock I can describe a procedure to do this. In short, it would be to create a new folder of parameters (a new Firefox profile), deletion of the contents of this folder and copy the contents of your old data from Firefox on the desktop file.

  Does not take long, if you are interested, but then you have to troubleshoot why the old profile was slow. Here's how:

  Resucitating your profile before reset

  (1) create a new Firefox profile:

  (4) in a separate window, open the folder of old data from Firefox on your desktop. Copy all the data of this file in the profile folder 12 vacuum.

  (5) run Firefox. It is expected to launch in which looks exactly like your discount to zero prior configuration.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?

  Some security software has virtualization or sandbox features that can cause problems to protect and restore files in the Firefox profile folder.

• How to remove a custom toolbar.

  Where are stored the definitions of the custom toolbar? I created one, but now want to permanently delete it.

  Everytime I open Firefox is activated and I have to disable in the view menu. My preferences are not stored. This has happened in the last update of Firefox. The upper area is also a nasty green color before it loads my custom background.

  Either way, "assumptions" for this are all wrong. It shows my version 3.5.4 and my XP OS.

  You must remove all elements (including separators and elements of space) in a toolbar and have them drag in the toolbar palette to remove the toolbar, customize the window is closed.

  Once you have freshly generated the page layout you want

  1. Open your profile folder by typing about: support int the address bar (or help > troubleshooting information...)
  2. Click Open containing folder
  3. Use file > exit or "Firefox" button > Exit to exit Firefox (not the ' X' top-right that just closed the window)
  4. in your profile f older localstore.rdf select and copy ('Ctrl + C') then in short tights to make a copy, repeat the steps to create at least a copy, the original and the "localstore - Copy.rdf" and the "localstore - copy (2) RDF" will all be the same, about 4 KB to begin with. (not 18KO not 76 KB)
  5. Replace Firefox.

  Freshly generated means rename or delete the localstore.rdf original while Firefox is down, restart Firefox and customize your toolbars as you want.

  If you have a problem with a corrupt localstore.rdf put Firefox down and in your profile directory, delete or rename the localstore.rd then rename a copy of localstore.rdf

  We are having heart 11.1.1.6.1, as shown in "webcenter_sites_11gr1_bp1_ui_customization.pdf", I've customized the toolbar.

• Custom Swatch Library is not updated in CC

  I have a large custom Swatch Library that I am continually additions and corrections to. I put it as persistent and library works very well, but it is not updated when I make changes. As far as I know, he is still stuck at the point where I've upgraded to CC a few months ago. I tried to uncheck persistent, closing of the library and Illustrator, then reopening and the relocation of the library, and it always comes back to the old version.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

• How can I add custom toolbar buttons to load the different TOCs?

  In my outings WebHelp, I want to have some custom buttons on the toolbar that when clicked load a table of specific contents in the left navigation pane. For example, when the user clicks the button on PC, the table of contents PC load in the left pane. When the user clicks the button on the virtual machine, TOC VM load in the left pane. All help files are managed in a single project and some files will appear in both tables of contents.

  I think that this should be possible, but do not know how to get there. Is it JavaScript that I should add to the element of custom toolbar to the table of contents of load on a click? How can I specify the table of contents I want to display for each button?

  BTW - I use RoboHelp 8 (version 8.0.2) to generate WebHelp output. Thank you in advance for your help!

  If you were to upgrade to RoboHelp 9 it would simplify your question. Version 9 offers a new feature called content dynamic (DUCC) user-centric and offers a nice little drop-down selector in the mini-bar of Navigation Tools.

  As you are in version 8, the only way I can understand you it would handle is by generating two different outputs. Each output would use his respective OCD. In each project toolbar button can be configured to open the other project.

  You could report first having to manage two exits and all files. But if you take part DUCC and the way in which it is set by Adobe, it works the same way. It's just hidden from your initial view.

• Custom toolbar

  I'm developing a tool kit customized to some naïve enough users of DW8.
  It contains a few specialist functions, I myself have developed as a show / hide question & answer and inserting the references linked at the bottom of the page and it works all OK.
  It also contains a number of features of DW standard such as UL, OL, LI, B, I, etc., all grouped together in the same place.
  It's a bit like a cross between the 'common good' and 'Favorites' toolbars, but predefined and excited.
  I just copied the htm, js, and png files in the subfolders of
  C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Objects\ in my toolbar create the directory and add in the mxi file.
  
  I solved most of the problems by adding the file 'formInsert.js' to the list box in the package mxi < file > 'Form', but the simple box always just instantly inserts a checkbox that is plain without asking any of the settings or even check if it is within the < form > < / form > tags. Other functions of form like textarea, menu group and the radio list perform exactly the same functions as the parent in the toolbar "form. If the checkbox add to toolbar 'Favorites', it works correctly.
  
  Can anyone think of what I could have done wrong?
  Is there another file, that I should have included in the package?
  If you look in... Configuration\Objects\Favorites is a text file that indicates just that favotites are just links to parent functions. But I can not find where DW8 records this or how to do it.
  

  Well, I found the answer to my last question, the file I wanted to was:

  They have been copied and pasted into the mxi for my custom toolbar file packaged and installed in DW8. Now I have all the bits I want instead, only they - and they are working correctly. It has the added benefit that the mxi file has more need to include the source files (html, js, gif, png) for these objects and the subsequent mxp file is considerably smaller.

  I think this is the library, with a big 'L' if I remember, but I remember exactly.  If you call adobeDPS.configurationService.applicationStates (Adobe DPS - library and store SDK 2.29: adobeDPS-ConfigurationService: JsDoc reference) to store custom, you will get back a table of all the names of slots, including no custom slots.  You can add a bit of debugging code to call this function and print the list and then remove it after that once you have the label correct for the location of the library if you add the uppercase 'L' does not work.

• Custom Android library

  I am preparing an existing custom library to an application for the Android version iOS. My first step was plopping the existing library in an Android application, waiting for a wobbly, but work experience. Instead, I get the error of bridge you'd get if you tried to open a custom in desktop Safari Library.

  Any ideas what I'm missing here? (And Yes, I have the entire file, not the zipped folder level).

  Also make sure you have the latest DevNet .js files. You cannot simply use the iOS store custom JavaScript file, there were many updates made to make it work on iOS, Android, and Windows.

• Firefox does not remember my custom toolbar

  I made a toolbar customized some time back (about a year or two ago) and had no problem with him, then 1 or 2 days it is whenever I close a session of the Chamber of combustion and then reopen firefox my toolbar buttons and the module are missing. It happens every time now. Frustrating, what can I do? I think it might be because of the upgrade to v26.
