  I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW.   This stuff is usually coded in the underlying JavaScript widget, derived from locale hard your computer or browser / language setting or gleaned from the respective server configuration information, so most likely, it can not be done, if not already covered by one of these methods. Hacking jQuery would of course always possible, but the other options are beyond your control, anyway.

  Yes. The free version comes with ads in the search results.  The paid version (which starts at $100 per year) has 20 000 searches without advertising queries a year. Pretty simple to set up and customize.

  I discovered the error. There is a problem with special characters in in-navigation-editing. If the menu item has a special character as a tittle, N, etc. I can't edit this page and I get the error:

  

  I changed the name of the Muse pages, downloaded again and now it works.

  We are currently building a Web Adobe Muse site for a client and while we are correctly for our computers/internet explore big mac desktop, our customers open their site in Chrome and the size of the screen/resolution was out of wack, creation of a scroll bar on the bottom that was not there with the original design. When our customer opened the site, the pages that had zoomed in, indeed, is it possible that we can have an "automatic adjustment", so anyone opens the site in a browser it will adjust size correctly? Y at - it sort of option in the properties of the page or formatting option that we are missing?

  It is prefferable you set the size to something that wouldn't do visitors have to scroll horizontally to see the different parts of a site, and there may be visitors who operate on smaller resolutions. The optimal width (in which most users would be able to see the site without horizontal scrolling), East of 960 px.

  I have a WP of GoDaddy site that already contains content. I built an addition on the site, thinking that I would be able to add code to a page on my WP but that did not work. My question is: is it possible to combine a Muse and a WP site without loss of content either? My ultimate goal would be to add the site of Muse for the WP site as a page, so essentially a site within a site.

  WP's not worried about any of this. Any additional HTML content can reside wherever he wants and is dutifully ignored unless it is actively linked within your WP installation and / or use standard functions of the API should actually be extracted. However, it would need some major work, since just enclosing an a Muse HTML in standard WP functions won't work, either. WP has wp_sanitize() and other functions that rewrite and filter the code conforms to the requirements of WP. That being the case, your best option would be to just throw your Muse site in a separate file and link it to the WP sidebar by inserting a custom text widget that contains the absolute URL for the folder and files.

  A customer asked me to redo their site and I wonder if someone can tell me if you can insert old BC modules like Blogs, forms, etc. in a newly created Web of Adobe Muse site.

  The new site will replace the former site of BC once completed.

  This can be done in 2 ways:

  -Use your login client to publish the window and select the url of the site that was previously used.

  -Publish the new site at this url will ensure that the url of the site is the same and CMS/CRM previously created content can be used in the form of modules in the pages of Muse.

  or

  -Create new site and publish it as a new site

  -Create modules, modules etc blogs > add to the page of Muse

  -Remove the domain from the old site and add it to your new site

  I had my MUSE site site works now for several years (www.thinksmartresumes.com.au). I published this through BC as one of my five free hosting sites.

  I have now created a new MUSE site (http://pauldean.businesscatalyst.com). I want to completely replace the old site with the new site.

  Now, this might be a stupid question, but simply select (site direct current) reality in the ' publish on ' drop down on the dialog box "publish"? Complete BC will delete the old site and replace it with the new.

  I fear that all this seems too easy? Are there other steps I have to take?

  Hi Paul,.

  The easiest solution for this is to create a 'new Site' of the menu drop down. Once the site is published, you can redeem as your site for free and add your custom domain.

  Another way is,

  Select the site, as the screenshot above, in the "Upload" field, select "All Files" and click on publish. Muse will now replace the old content on the site with new content.

• Recover lost the adobe muse site

  Hi all

  I've developed a Web site on my Mac Mini, mac started running slow so I backed up all the data, reset the mac to factory default and restored from a backup. Unfortunately all my files were lost during the restore process and my muse site is now gone too.

  I have all the HTML, CSS files, JavaScript etc. uploaded to my FTP server that I can download but of course impossible to use them in muse. Is it possible to convert these files into a file of muse, so that I can continue to edit the site of muse?

  Sorry to hear that, but unfortunately it is not possible to recover the Muse FRO FTP server file. When you publish your site to an FTP server, Muse does not download the .muse for the server file, so you're not there.

  Another way might be scanning your system, using free software, maybe it can help to recover a deleted file.
